홍익대학교 총장님의 “축하의 말씀”
한국의 홍익대학교 대학원생들과 중국의 베이징 중앙미술학원
대학원생들이 열정과 노력을 함께 모아 준비한 ‘2016 International
Fashion Art Exhibition’이 베이징 중앙미술학원에서 열
리게 됨을 기쁘게 생각합니다. 이번 전시가 한국의 홍익대학교
대학원생들과 중국의 베이징 중앙미술학원 대학원생들이 서로
의 작품을 통하여 두 나라의 문화와 정서, 그리고 패션에 대한
다양한 생각들은 나누고 서로를 격려하는 뜻 깊은 자리가 될 것
으로 기대합니다.
이번 전시에는 정신, 공간, 시간, 사람의 소통을 의미하는 “사이
‘ 間 ’”을 주제로 하여 이로부터 얻어지는 영감을 새롭게 해석한
의상디자인 작품들이 출품되었습니다. 여러분들의 풍부한 상상
력과 창의력을 바탕으로 국제적인 협동과 어울림의 과정을 거
쳐 탄생한 작품을 전시하는 이처럼 뜻 깊은 행사의 중심이 된
학생 여러분들의 도전과 협업 능력에 큰 박수를 보냅니다. 이번
전시를 준비하는 과정에서 얻은 소중한 경험들이 각국의 패션,
더 나아가 세계의 패션을 이끌어갈 인재로 여러분들을 성장시
키는 초석이 될 것을 믿어 의심치 않습니다.
그 동안 학생들의 창의적인 사고가 구체적인 작품으로 태어날
수 있도록 지도해 주시고 행사를 이끌어 주신 여러 교수님들의
헌신적인 노고에 감사 드리며, 미래의 디자이너인 학생들을 물
심양면으로 지원해 주시는 학부모님들을 비롯한 모든 관계자분
들께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 아울러 창의적이고 독창적인 작
품을 제작하는데 온갖 정성과 심혈을 기울인 학생들의 노고를
다시금 높이 치하하며 더 큰 성공과 발전이 있기를 기원합니다.
양교의 의상디자인 분야가 더욱 긴밀한 유대를 가지고 함께
세계로 도약할 것을 기대하며, 다시 한번 ‘2016 International
Fashion Art Exhibition’ 전시를 진심으로 축하합니다.

Word of congratulation
I am most delighted that the 2016 International Fashion Art
Exhibition prepared with the passion and efforts of graduate
students of Korea’s Honggik University and China’s Beijing
Central Arts Academy will be held at the Beijing Central Arts
Academy. I expect this exhibition will provide an opportunity
to share each country’s culture and sentiment and a variety of
ideas on fashion through each other’s work as well as becoming
a venue for encouraging one another.
The theme of this exhibition is “Between 間 ” signifying the
communication of spirit, space, time, and people, and from
this inspiration new interpretations have been made transferring
into inspirational fashion design works, which will be
represented at the exhibition. I would like to applaud those
graduate students who took the center stage in showing the
spirit of challenge and collaborative ability to create incredible
work and exhibit such work in such a meaningful event as this
by putting forth global-wide cooperation through the process
of coming together using your abundant imagination and
creativity as the foundation . I have no doubt the invaluable
experience you have gained through the preparation process
of this exhibition will become the cornerstone in turning you
into a talent that will lead not only the fashion industry of each
country but the entire world of fashion.
Once again, I would like to recognize the hard work of students
who gave full devotion and poured over their sweat and
blood to produce creative and unique pieces of art work. I
wish you success and unimaginable growth.
I wish that both our institutions will build closer ties in the
area of fashion design and hope that we can both go forth into
the world by fostering fashion talents. Again, I congratulate
you on the 2016 International Fashion Art Exhibition.

本 次 “2016 国 际 时 尚 艺 术 展 (2016 International Fashion Art Exhibition)”
的 召 开 , 得 益 于 韩 国 弘 益 大 学 和 中 国 中 央 美 术
学 院 研 究 生 们 的 热 情 、 努 力 和 精 心 准 备 , 我 感 到 非 常
高 兴 。 我 希 望 , 通 过 在 此 次 展 会 上 展 出 韩 国 弘 益 大 学
和 中 国 中 央 美 术 学 院 研 究 生 们 的 作 品 , 能 够 将 两 国 文
化 、 情 感 以 及 关 于 时 尚 的 各 种 想 法 进 行 分 享 , 并 使 这
里 成 为 一 个 洋 溢 着 奋 进 精 神 、 充 满 积 极 意 义 的 地 方 。
此 次 展 会 的 主 题 是 “ 间 ”, 意 思 是 精 神 、 空 间 、 时 间 、
人 之 间 的 沟 通 , 并 将 展 示 灵 感 源 于 此 主 题 的 服 装 设
计 。 正 如 展 出 的 作 品 是 以 大 家 丰 富 的 想 象 和 创 意 为 基
础 , 经 过 国 际 间 的 合 作 和 搭 配 而 诞 生 一 样 , 此 次 意 义
深 远 的 活 动 , 是 围 绕 学 生 们 解 决 挑 战 的 能 力 和 合 作
能 力 这 个 中 心 , 我 们 应 该 给 予 他 们 热 烈 的 掌 声 。 我 坚

송 원장님 “축하의 말씀”
오늘, 이곳에서 2016년 한중 패션 예술 전시회 ‘사이( 間 )’를 함께 개
최할 수 있게 되어 무척 기쁘게 생각합니다. 먼저 중앙미술학원을
대표해 이곳을 찾아주신 귀빈 여러분께 감사의 인사를 드립니다. 한
중은 지리적으로 인접한 덕분에 문화적 전통은 물론 서로 비슷한
문화적 뿌리를 오래도록 간직할 수 있었습니다. 이를 발판으로 양
국은 오랜 세월 동안 활발하게 서로의 문화를 교류해 왔습니다. 다
시 말해서 예로부터 지금껏 양국 사이에, 눈에 보이지 않는 문화교
류가 끊임없이 이루어졌다는 뜻으로도 이해할 수 있습니다. 동양문
화를 계승하는 한중 양국에 이러한 사실은 단단한 결속을 보장해
주는 공통된 기준이자 막중한 사명감이라 하겠습니다.
패션 예술은 새로운 형태의 창작예술로, 답을 찾기 위해 끊임없이
도전하고 용감하게 실험할 수 있다는 무한한 가능성을 지니고 있습
니다. 답을 찾는 과정에서 우리는 어쩌면 정답보다 더 중요한, 사람
들의 마음을 울릴 수 있는 힘을 찾아낼 수 있다고 생각합니다. 이번
전시회의 주제는 ‘사이’를 가리킵니다. 디자인과 예술 사이, 문화와
문화 사이, 역사와 현대 사이에서, 그리고 다양한 패션 예술의 사이
에서 이 주제처럼 우리는 서로를 아우를 수 있는 구심점, 더욱 나은
답을 찾아내리라 확신합니다. 그런 점에서 이번 전시회는 양국 학
생 사이의, 예술에 대한 인식과 이해, 소통을 위한 하나의 발판으로
서, 서로의 문화에 대한 이해와 존중, 공생을 위한 지혜가 더욱 빛날
수 있도록 힘을 보태주리라 확신합니다.
예술을 창작하는 과정이 예술가가 자신과 자신의 생각을 온전히 드
러낼 수 있는 과정이라면, 모든 작품은 추상적이고, 모호한 형식으
로 예술가와 관객이 서로 이해하고 소통할 수 있도록 이끄는 통로
라 하겠습니다. 바로 그 모호함 때문에 소통과 교류는 보다 심오하
고, 신중한 자세로 이뤄지게 됩니다. 이번 전시회에 참가한 모든 참
석자들께서 문화예술의 무한한 매력을 발견하시는 것은 물론, 보다
나은 자신을 되돌아보는 계기가 되기를 소망합니다. 마지막으로 이
번 전시회의 성공을 기원하며, 새로운 세대의 예술가가 민족의 비전
을 품고 세계와 하나가 되는 계기가 되기를 희망합니다.

Word of congratulation
I’m so glad that today we can gather here to host the 2016
China and South Korea Fashion Art Exhibition—“Between.”
First of all, I would like to welcome all distinguished guests on
behalf of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. China and South
Korea have a very long history of cultural communication. The
two countries are close neighbors geographically, who share
the same cultural tradition and a similar cultural foundation.
On the other hand, this also shows that the imperceptible
cultural immersion between these two countries has existed
throughout all the ages. We share common standards and a
common mission to inherit the oriental culture.
Finally I wish the exhibition a great success and hope that all
artists in the new-generation will integrate into this world with
national aspirations.

CAFA.
Art in fashion is a new field of artistic creation. In my opinion,
there are infinite possibilities in this area, which is the biggest
charm in the process of pursuing answers. The process of pursuing
answers has more artistic power than the answers themselves.
As for the theme of this exhibition —“Between,” art in
fashion constantly tries to explore a proper mixture within
various fields, like design and art, cultural differences, history
and the contemporary. Meanwhile, the artistic communication
between students from two countries makes it especially
obvious and valuable to explore cultural similarities and differences.
It is believed that the process of artistic creation reflects the
author’s mind and experience. Every final work communicates
with the audience in forms of abstraction and obscurity.
Because of the ambiguity, this kind of communication and
conversation becomes more elegant and profound. I hope that
each participant can discover a new charm in this culture, and
find a better part of yourself as well.

今 天 , 很 高 兴 我 们 能 相 聚 在 此 共 同 举 办 2016 中 韩 时 装
艺 术 展 “ 间 ”。 首 先 我 代 表 中 央 美 术 学 院 欢 迎 各 位 的 到
来 。 中 韩 文 化 的 交 流 有 着 非 常 久 远 的 历 史 , 相 邻 的 地
理 位 置 使 我 们 两 国 之 间 有 着 一 脉 相 承 的 文 化 传 统 和 相
似 的 文 化 底 蕴 。 这 也 从 一 方 面 说 明 从 古 至 今 两 国 之 间
潜 移 默 化 的 文 化 渗 透 从 未 停 止 过 。 对 于 东 方 文 化 的 传
承 两 国 都 有 着 共 同 的 基 准 点 和 使 命 感 。
时 装 艺 术 是 一 个 新 的 艺 术 创 作 领 域 , 这 个 领 域 最 大 的
魅 力 在 我 看 来 是 其 中 的 无 限 可 能 性 , 它 仍 然 在 一 个 寻
求 答 案 的 实 验 过 程 中 。 在 我 看 来 往 往 寻 求 答 案 过 程 要
比 答 案 本 身 更 具 有 打 动 人 心 的 艺 术 力 量 。 正 如 我 们 的
主 题 “ 间 ” 这 个 字 一 样 , 时 装 艺 术 不 断 的 在 不 同 的 领 域
之 间 寻 找 一 个 恰 当 的 融 合 点 。 如 设 计 与 艺 术 之 间 , 文
化 差 异 之 间 , 历 史 与 现 代 之 间 等 。 而 于 此 同 时 , 我 们
两 国 学 生 之 间 的 对 艺 术 的 交 流 沟 通 , 也 使 其 中 文 化 差
异 与 共 性 的 发 觉 显 得 尤 为 明 显 和 珍 贵 。
如 果 说 艺 术 创 作 的 过 程 是 作 者 对 自 我 精 神 感 受 的 体
现 , 那 么 每 一 个 作 品 都 在 以 一 种 抽 象 和 模 糊 形 式 进 行
着 与 观 者 的 沟 通 和 交 流 。 正 是 因 为 不 明 确 , 这 种 沟 通
与 交 流 便 显 得 尤 为 优 雅 和 深 刻 。 我 希 望 每 一 位 参 与 者
在 这 次 展 览 交 流 中 不 仅 发 现 新 的 文 化 艺 术 魅 力 , 也
同 时 能 反 观 到 更 好 的 自 己 。 最 后 预 祝 此 次 展 览 大 获 成

“사람은 가고 예술은 남는다.” 는 말처럼 우리가 지나온 흔적들
은 예술로써 표현되어 한 편의 기억 속에 자리 잡아 역사로 남
겨지고 있습니다. 이렇듯 우리는 여러 국가의 사람들과 함께하
는 다문화 사회 속에서 삶과 정서의 가치와 우리나라의 문화
를 직간접적으로 교류하고 어우르며 독특하고 심미적인 문화
로 창출하여 끊임없이 한 편의 역사를 만들어가고 있습니다.
이번 2016년 12월 베이징 중앙 미술 학원에서 개최되는 전시
를 통해 패션으로써 양국의 다양한 문화와 독창성, 정서를 교류
하며 우리의 열망의 흔적이 기억됨과 함께 미래를 향한 발돋움
이 될 것입니다.
‘2016 International Fashion Art Exhibition’은 사이‘ 間 ’이라는
주제 속에서 베이징 중앙 미술 학원과 홍익대학교 대학원의 문
화와 미적 가치를 교류함으로써 양국의 다양한 독창성과 창의
성을 공유하는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다. 또한, 이 전시를 통해
모두가 함께하는 다문화 사회를 조금 더 직접적으로 교류하면
서 서로를 이해하고 문화가 융합되어 또 하나의 새로운 미래를
창출하는 흔적을 남기고 역사를 만들어가는 새로운 장이 될 것
입니다.
패션을 중심으로 시간과 공간, 정신과 사람이라는 4가지 부문

Acknowledgement
Like the phrase “People leave but art remains,” traces of the
past are expressed as art and they hold a place in your memory
and become a part of the history. We live in a multicultural
society with people from various countries directly and
indirectly exchanging and combining our lives, value of our
sentiment, and our cultures creating another special, esthetic
culture endlessly creating a piece of history. Through the exhibition
being held at the Beijing Central Arts Academy in December
2016, we would like to exchange a variety of culture,
creativity, sentiment of each country through fashion. Traces
of our passion will be remembered and together it will become
a stronghold for the future.

The 2016 International Fashion Art Exhibition is organized
under the theme of “Between 間 ” to exchange the culture
and aesthetic values of the Beijing Central Arts Academy and
Honggik University, and to provide an opportunity to share
various originality and creativity of China and Korea. In addition,
this exhibition will become a new venue to directly
exchange multicultural society and understand each other’s
culture and converge and create a new future leaving traces
and making history.
Centering on fashion we struggled to create an esthetic culture
in 4 creative areas such as Time & Space, and Spirit & People.
And as such, we would like to praise all participants who have
put their greatest efforts and passion in helping us to make this
challenge. In addition, we would like to thank the professors
from both countries who have help to provide sincere advice
and guidance to the students.

用 艺 术 来 表 现 过 去 的 痕 迹 , 而 艺 术 将 会 一 直 留 存 在 我

러예 교수님 “감사의 말씀”
‘패션 예술’이라는 새로운 예술 분야가 나날이 성숙하고 발전하는
모습에 기쁨을 감출 수 없습니다. 2006년, 같은 자리에서 우리는
자매결연 학교인 홍익대학교와 함께 ‘종이도 옷감이 될 수 있다’
는 주제로 전시회를 열었습니다.
이 자리를 빌어 두 학교가 패션 예술 분야에서 시대를 선도할 수
있도록 힘을 기울여 주신 양측 교수님과 학생들의 노고에 감사하
다는 뜻을 전하고 싶습니다.
패션 예술에 대한 정의, 그리고 최초의 시작, 앞으로 나아가야 할
방향이라는 주제를 놓고 우리는 쉬지 않고 실험하고 도전했습니
다. 오늘날 각국 패션 예술가의 노력과 적극적인 시도에 힘입어
패션 예술은 날로 발전하여 사회적으로도 점점 큰 영향력을 발휘
하고 있습니다. 한중 양국은 역사적 교류라는 기틀 위에서 다양한
전통문화 분야에 걸쳐 한 목소리를 내고 있습니다.
전통문화 정신의 계승과 발전 분야에서 한국은 진지한 연구와 시
도를 추구했습니다. 이 문제에 관해 오늘날 중국의 신세대 예술
가와 디자이너 역시 시대적 사명감과 책임감을 절실히 깨닫고 있
습니다.
이번 교류를 통해 패션 예술 분야에서 한중 양국이 보다 높은 목
표를 추구하기를 기대합니다. 또한 두 학교의 지혜와 우정이 계속
해서 이어질 수 있기를 희망합니다. 2016년 한중 패션 예술 전시
회 “사이”의 성공적인 개최를 기원합니다.

Acknowledgement
I’m glad to see that “fashion art,” a new art field, has gradually
matured and become influential. In 2006, along with our sister-school
Hongik University, we hosted the first China and
South Korea exchange meeting on “paper material” here. Let
me express my appreciation to every student and professor for
their efforts to maintain the two universities’ leading position
in the fashion art field. We have constantly been exploring
the definition, origin and future of fashion art through the
process of trial and practice. With worldwide fashion artists’
efforts and exploration, fashion art has matured and become
influential. China and South Korea have shared a common
traditional culture during our previous communication process.
But South Korea has carried out profound research and
exploration in inheriting and developing the spirit of this traditional
culture, which is the mission and responsibility for the
new-generation of young Chinese artists and designers. With
the exchange and cooperation, we hope to promote the fashion
art field to a new height and continuously carry forward
the wisdom and friendship of these two universities. Finally, I
hope that the 2016 China and South Korea Fashion Art Exhibition—“Between”
to be a complete success.

我 很 高 兴 的 看 到 “ 时 装 艺 术 ” 这 一 新 的 艺 术 领 域 逐 渐 成 熟
与 壮 大 。 早 在 2006 年 , 就 是 在 同 样 的 位 置 , 我 们 与 姊
妹 学 校 韩 国 弘 益 大 学 举 办 了 第 一 场 题 目 为 “ 以 纸 为 料 ” 的
中 韩 交 流 展 。
我 要 感 谢 每 一 位 参 与 其 中 的 教 授 与 老 师 同 学 的 努 力 ,
使 得 两 校 一 直 在 时 装 艺 术 领 域 保 有 领 先 的 地 位 。 对 于
时 装 艺 术 的 定 义 和 它 最 初 的 起 点 到 底 是 什 么 , 未 来 的
方 向 又 是 哪 ? 我 们 一 直 在 不 断 试 验 和 实 践 的 过 程 中 探
寻 , 但 在 各 国 的 时 装 艺 术 家 的 努 力 与 探 索 下 , 时 装 艺
术 已 经 越 发 成 熟 和 具 有 影 响 力 。
中 韩 两 国 在 历 史 的 交 流 发 展 中 有 很 多 传 统 文 化 上 的 共
鸣 , 而 在 传 统 文 化 精 神 的 传 承 发 展 领 域 中 , 韩 国 有 着

는 면. 망, 레이스, 포리에스테르, 여성의 소중한 감성을 위
한 Outerwear를 sensitive style로 제안하였다. 풍성한 퍼
커링기법을 활용한 디테일, 검정면소재 코트와 검정레이
스 믹스&매치, 검정면 믹스&매치, 검정패딩 검정면를 레이
어드하여 편안하게 착용할수 있도록 디테일간, 소재간, 믹
스앤 매치로 연출하였다. sensitive Concept로 Beautiful,
Powerful, win & win 을 꿈꾸는 Business and Professional
woman 의 이미지를 표현하였다.
We want to express the precious value pursuit of professional
women in the concept of fun &sensitive in
the contemporary society changing in global age. The
items are Outerwear, the color is black and the material
is cotton. Mens, lace. Polyester, Outerwear for
women’s precious sensibility in a sensitive style. Detail
black cotton lace mix &match, black face mix &match,
black padding with detailed black puckering technique.
I made it with detail, material, mix and match
to be able to do. Sensitive concept to express the image
of Business and Professional woman dreaming of
Beautiful, Powerful, win &win.

부분과 전체 I Part and Whole
의상은 인체의 형상( 形 象 )을 근간으로 만들어진 입체 조형이
다. 우리는 평면적 재료를 곡선 또는 직선으로 잘라서 여러 개
의 조각들을 만들고 이것을 잇고 붙여서 입체적 형태의 조형
물을 완성한다. 의상을 이루는 조각들은 독립된 평면조각으
로의 본질적 특성보다는 자립적 혹은 비자립적인 부분으로
써 상호적으로 융합하여 의상이라는 구조물로 합일되어진다.
이로써 조각들은 전체 속의 부분으로써 구조 내의 관계에 의
해 정의되고 부분들의 합보다는 더 큰 의미를 부여받게 된다.
나는 의상을 구성하는 조각들의 연결을 끊고 처음의 낱개의
조각으로 되돌려 보았다. 그리고 이분법적 서열을 해체하고
절대적 질서와 관습적인 사고에 반하여 재배치하였다. 전체
를 원소로 환원시키고 재구성하는 과정을 통해 관계성( 關 係
性 )의 틀 안에서 상대화( 相 對 化 ) 된 부분들의 본연의 아름다
움과 존재 가치를 되새겨본다.
-부분들의 합은 언제나 전체 그 이상의 의미를 창조한다.
The costume is a three-dimensional modeling based on
the shape of the human body. We cut the planar material
into several pieces with curves or straight lines and
piece them together to complete the three-dimensional
modeling. The pieces that make up the costume are
integrated into its structure by being mutually fused
together as independent or non-independent parts,
rather than as separate flat pieces retaining their essential
characteristics. Consequently, the pieces are parts of
the whole, defined by the relations in the structure, and
have greater meaning than the sum of the parts.
I disconnected the pieces that made up the costume
and returned them to their original form. Further, I
disassembled the dichotomous levels and rearranged
them against absolute order and conventional thinking.
Through the process of reducing and reconstructing the
whole into elements, we recall the beauty of the individual
pieces and the value of existence that was relativized
as parts within the framework of the relationship.
-The sum of the parts always creates a whole new meaning.

내면 ( 感 情 ) I Inner Side
본 작품은 사람과 사람 사이에 생겨나는 감정들을 꽃에 비
유하여 나타냈으며, 초현실주의(Surrealism)의 더페이즈망
(Depaysement)기법을 이용하였다. 초현실주의는 1917년
시인 기욤 아폴리네르에 의해 처음 만들어졌으며, 환상의
세계를 지향한다. 또 더페이즈망 기법은 어떤 물건을 일반
적인 환경에서 이질적인 환경으로 옮겼을 때 일어나는 기이
한 현상을 뜻한다. 이러한 기법을 응용하여 꽃을 거꾸로 한
형태를 모티브로 의상을 디자인하였고 뿌리부분이 위쪽을
향하게 제작하였다. 또한 뿌리부분을 강조하였고 이는 보이
지 않는 내면의 감정에 대해 표현한 것으로, 시간적 흐름에
따라 변화되는 감정과 모든 과정 끝에 비로소 안정된 감정
상태를 중요하게 나타내고 있음을 의미한다. 더 나아가 내
면의 감정이 단단하고 견고해졌을 때, 이전에는 알 수 없었
던 황홀한 감정에 이르는 것을 본 작품에 담아 내었다.
This work describes the feelings among people as
flowers, and uses Surrealism and Depaysement. First
introduced by the poet Apollinaire in 1917, Surrealism
is oriented towards fantasy. Depaysement refers to a
peculiar phenomenon when an object moves into an
unfamiliar environment from a normal one. Using such
technique, the costume is designed as upside-down
form of a flower with its root in the top. Its stem is
emphasized to express the invisible inner feelings.
Such description of emotions signify the importance of
change of feelings with time and that of stable emotional
state at the end of all courses of relationship.
Moreover, the revelation of previously unknown ecstatic
emotion after inner feeling becomes robust is
reflected in the work.

패션에서 응용되는 오리가미 기법은 조형적인 특징을 살린
디자인부터 기능성을 강조한 디자인까지 다양한 패션디자
인의 영감이 되고 있다. 또 시각적 착각은 무한히 확장되거
나 소멸되는 움직임으로 인식된다.
플라이케이션의 조형적인 기법인 접기방식 오리가미는 이
차원의 소재가 삼차원의 인체에 착용되면서 몸과 의상 사
이의 공간은 몸이 움직일 때 마다 새로운 실루엣을 형성한
다. 또 폴딩에 의해 나타나는 구조적 입체감은 그 자체로 장
식적이며 입체감을 보인다. 기하학적 형태의 반복은 형태와
형태 사이, 공간과 공간 사이에 존재하는 동일한 패턴으로
보는 사람으로 하여금 움직임과 리듬감을 보여준다.
The Origami technique applied to fashion has been inspired
by various fashion designs, from the design of
utilizing the formative features to the design of emphasizing
the functional performance. And A visual illusion
is perceived as unlimited expansion or perished
movement.
The folding method Origami, which is a formative
technique of Plication, forms new silhouette whenever
body moves at the space of between body and
clothes as the two dimensional material is worn on the
three dimensional human body. In addition, structural
volume created by folding express decorative and stereoscopic
formation by itself. Repetition of geometric
form shows movement and rhythm to a person who
sees the existing same pattern between shape and
shape, space and space.

윗부분은 삼로끈으로 엮어 진 뼈의 모양으로 앞과 뒤 각각 하나의 등뼈에 의해 고정되어 있
다. 아래 부분은 삼로끈, 많은 선으로 결합된 긴치마다. 윗부분은 가볍고 아랫 부분은 복잡
하며, 윗부분은 가볍고 아랫 부분은 무겁다. 독창적인 소재와 위, 아래 부분의 대비는 시각
적으로 강한 충격을 만든다.

< 공상 속에서 빛나다 >
옛조상들이 즐겨 쓰던 조각보, 횟대보 등을 명주(silk)에 천연염색을 하여 현대적으로 재해석
하였다.
< Dancing in the Fantasy >
I reinterpreted it modernly by dyeing patchworks in natural way which ancentor used to use
and is made of silk.
The upper part is shape of bone weaved by rope, fixed by one backbone in front and back respectively,
the lower part is longuette made by the same rope and much Wool. The upper part
is easy, the lower part is complicated, the upper part is light, the lower part is heavy. By creative
fabric and exaggerate comparison between upper and lower part to form strong visual impact.

이 작품의 제목은 “날카로운 인생”이다. 사람의 일생은 마치 이 작품처럼 더없이 날카롭다. 하
지만 시간이 지나며 많은 것을 겪은 후에 모난 곳은 점점 부드러워진다.
< LifeIsSharpAsBlade >
The work is named LifeIsSharpAsBlade. The begining of our life, being same as this craftsmanship,
is beyond sharp and full with rough edges. However, with the time changes, we
could go through many things and grow up and then become a man who is more sophiscated
and less edge.
< 미완성한 웨딩 드레스 >
예술가 Red Hong YI의 작품 중에서 젓가락을 이용해서 Jackie Cha의 초상을 만든 작품에서
영감을 받았다. 웨딩 드레스는 일회용 젓가락과 대나무로 만들어서 미완성처럼 보입니다.
< UNFINISHED WEDDING DRESS >
This project is inspired by one of Red Hong Yi’s work pieces made by chopsticks. The
Wedding dress was applied on weaving of bamboo cane and one-off chopsticks, make the
dress looks like haven’t finished yet.

< Shadow Puppet’s New Clothes >
몇 백년 역사를 가진 중국 전통 공예 피영에서 영감을 얻어서 디자인한 것이다. 인공 장식 부
분의 장식은 화려하고 복잡하며 시각적 장식 효과는 매우 강하다. 다양한 문양을 응용하여 현
대적인 미적 방법에 기반한 모던한 옷을 만든다.
It was inspired by the design of Chinese traditional crafts shadow puppet with a history of
several hundred years. The decoration of the part of the artificial decoration is brilliant and
complex, and the visual decoration effect is very strong. Apply a variety of patterns to create
contemporary clothes based on modern aesthetic methods.

작품은 Art Deco에서 영감을 받았다. 그중 규칙적인, 혹은 불규칙적인 미를 표현하고 싶어서
이 작품을 만들었다. 원단의 개량도 해보았다. 재료응용은 기계부속, 지퍼, 가죽등인데, 내가
선택하는 주제가 오랫동안 존재했지만, 새로운 느낌으로 전달되기를 바랐다.
< Geometry >
I get the inspiration from the Art Deco, and I want to express the powerful feeling through the
regular and the irregular lines, also did some development on textile test.
Alice in wonderland where you could find unrealistic situations and characters. Our reality
where we encounter more unrealistic phenomenon than the wonderland. A work, incarnated
a journey in looking for the real myself.

너는 창을 통하여 아름다운 풍경을 볼 때 풍경도 창을 통하여 너를 보고 있다. 자연과 인공
인데 일체적으로 형성되는 것만 같다. 본 작품은 관찰자는 볼 때 창쪽에 보면 아름다운 자
연을 보는데, 반면이 전시관에 모든 인공적인 작품을 볼 수 있고 풍경만 보면 창의 그림자
도 볼 수 있는 의미가 있다. 작품은 자연미와 인공미를 자연스럽게 융합하는 것을 표현한다.
< Windows >
You see the scenery through the window, and the scenery also through the window to see
you. Although the nature and artifact, it seems to be formed as one thing. The work allows the
observer to see the natural scenery from one side of the window, and on the other side can
see everything in the stadium. Leave the window to see the scenery, you can see the shadow
from the window lattice. The work is to show the natural beauty and artificial beauty of the

The Lumiduct is based on the flow of the times in pursuit of everyday fantasy and stimulation.
The light extends to the outer space of the object and extends the area to the surrounding
space. This work expressed a unique and fantastic feeling like a shadow play through light.

< Illusion >
illusion은 현실에 존재하는 것처럼 보이기 위해 물체의 3D 버젼을 만드는 가상의 방해요소이다.
나는 illusion에 대한 관심으로 태국에서 환상을 생각하는 프로젝트를하기로 결심했다. 이 홀로
그램을 보면 큰 하얀 종이를 많은 사람들이 머리 위에 들고 있는 것에 대해 이상하게 느껴진다.
그래서 이것은 사람들에게 잘못된 인상을 줄 것이다. 당신이 할 수 있다고 생각한다면, 나는 이
것이 내가 프로그래밍 한 환상이라고 말할것이다 .
Illusion is the virtual distraction which creates the 3D virson of an object to make it li ke in a reality
world of exsistence. I have been intrested in these kind of illusion so I made my decision to do
my project in Thailand about illusion When we see this hologram then we feel a strange kind of
il lusion about having many people in a big white paper holding on his head. So this wil l give this
will give people a false impression. If you think you can , I say it is all an il lusion that’s why I made
the illusion by programing.

인간은 항상 위장을 하고 껍질안에 숨어 있어 진실한 영혼은 짐작할 수 없다. 시간이 흐름에
따라 육체와 영혼이 점점 사라지고 껍질만 남는다. 디자인에서는 액화 수지를 이용하여 원단
을 딱딱하게 만들어서 껍질의 개념을 표현하였다.
Human beings are always good at camouflage, hidden in different shell inside, and the true
soul, always can’t figure out.
Body and soul with the passage of time, slowly disappear, only remaining shell. So, in my
design, using resin material to express the concept of shell.

작품은 자연 속에서 볼 수있는 거미줄에 의해 영감을 얻었다. 거미줄은 독특하고 신비로우며 아
름답다. 심지어는 끊임없이 변화하는 모습을 가진 예술 작품 중 하나이다. 그러나 자주 위험한
상황에 놓이게된다. 예를 들어 작품 속의 나비는 위험한 상황에 처해 있다. 조금만 움직이면 그
생명이 사라질 것이다. 이것은 현대 사회에서의 여성을 떠올리게한다. 아무리 평등을 강조해도
이 사회는 여전히 여성들에게 더 큰 위험과 도전을 던지고 있다!
< Embracement >
소중한 무언가를 감싸는 보자기와 선물 포장에서 아이디어를 얻어, 물건과 마음을 감싸는
정성을 형상화 하였다.
The effort of wrapping something meaningful and embracing the significance is the key theme.
My works is inspired by the spider web which can be seen everywhere in the nature, they are
unique, mysterious and beautiful, they can even become the one and only piece of Art with
their ever changing appearance. But more often they herald danger, such as the butterfly in the
works, which is in a very dangerous situation, as long as a little bit movement, its life will be
lost. This reminds me of women in modern society, no matter how much people emphasize.

요원한 추억이고 요원한 여정이다. 작품은 고대 서양 돛배에서 영감을 받았다. 돛배의 구조와
구성을 연구하고 이를 응용한 옷을 디자인하였다. 이를 통해 사람들로 하여금 바람과 함께하
는 로맨틱한 원항의 느낌을 받게 하고 싶다.
It was a Distant memory and a distant journey. The design inspiration is from the ancient
sailing ships. And according to the structure and composition of the ancient sailing ships
to design the clothing. Hoping to give people the feeling of romantic travel with the wind.

버건디와 레드를 조합하여 새로운 유럽의 느낌을 연출을 했습니다. 여주인공이 독살 당한 슬
픈 이야기를 작품을 통해 나누고 싶습니다.
I want to express sorrowfulness and European charmness from a classic horror film by red
color. I represent a newish European mood by combining burgundy and red. I want to share
a sad story of the movie which heroine was dead by poisoning.

사람들은 서로 다른 환경의 도시에서 살고있다.
서울은 어떤 도시일까? 서울타워는 서울의 대표적인 상징이다.
퍼즐을 만드는 방법을 통해 도시와 사람들의 장면이 담긴 사진을 사용하여 함께 남산 타워
의 이미지를 만든다.
People live in different cities with different scenes. What kind of city Seoul is? Namsan Tower
is the symbol of Seoul. Through the way of making puzzles, I use photos with the scenes of
cities and people to put them together into image of Namsan Tower.

표현하려 한다. Crack의 운명적 행위를 만나 오브제 위에 입혀지는 새로운 전개를 제시한다.
To express a crack which is repetitive and unconscious, use a concept of the monument for
victims of the terror.
It suggests a new development for the crack after encounter with a fateful act and overlaying
on an objet.

< The last Tango in Paris >
이 디자인에는 문명이 항상 자연을 포식하고 손상을 동반하는 많은 모순 된 배경이 포함되어
있다. 문명의 발전은 자연의 손상을 동반한다. 플라스틱은 토양에서 20-30 년 이내에 분해 될
수 있지만 다시 꽃이 자랄 수 있는 토양이 되기까지 고통스러운 과정을 거쳐야 한다. 그래서
나는 꽃과 플라스틱으로 이번 작품을 제작한다. 모두에게 아름다움이란 동일한 것이기에, 바
라는 것은 이 오염된 토지에서 아름다운 꽃을 피울 수 있게 하는 것이다.
The design contains many contradictory backgrounds that civilization is always accompanied
by the cannibalization and damage toward the nature. Those plastics can be decomposed within
twenty or thirty years but have to endure the painful process to change into soil to moisten
flowers. That’s the reason why I choose flowers and plastics as the prototype. Moreover, as beauty
is the same around the world, I hope that beautiful flowers can bloom in the decayed soil.

제목은 부드러운 봄을 의미한다.
망사 위에 스케치 프린트를 하고 여러 층을 중복하면서 아래부분에 잠자리 날개 자수를 표현
하여 따뜻하고 신비한 봄의 느낌을 보여주고자 한다.
The title is a soft spring means. the law on a design print layer to overlap,
and the first part of dragonfly wings to show in the spring, warmand mysterious feeling shows.

시간을 하나의 그물코로 비유하였다. 그물코 아주 작은 무늬가 반복되어 패턴이 되고, 작업
시간의 경과에 따라 형태를 갖추듯이, 시간의 흐름이 일상이 되고 삶으로 완성되어지는 것을
비유하여, 가늘지만 강한 에나멜 철사를 이용하여 약한 개인의 질긴 삶을 뜨게질 기법으로 드
레스의 형태로 나타내고자 하였다.

The inspiration was drawn from the moss.
This work expresses the growth of the plants, which are constantly extending and changing.
< Temporal Pattern, Variation, and Life >
Time was compared to a mesh. Just like the repetition of a small pattern of a mesh becomes
patterns, and it shows a certain shape as time passes, comparing the process in which the flow
of time becomes daily life for the completion of the whole life, I aimed to express a tough life
of a weak individual into a dress with a knitting skill using a thin, but strong enamel wires.

< 륜 轮 >
시간의 흐름을 거쳐 만들어진 나이테의 곡선은 자연스럽게 이루어진 우아한 곡선이며, 이
것은 모두 대자연이 창조한 아름다움이다. 이 자연의 곡선을 응용하여 나만의 다양한 감정
을 그려 내고, 세상을 향하여 나를 표현한다. 나무가 나이테로 자신이 이 세상에 존재한 흔
적을 남기는 것과 같다.
< Ring >
Growth rings, also referred to as tree rings or annual rings, can be seen in a horizontal cross
section cut through the trunk of a tree. Growth rings are the result of new growth in the
vascular cambium, a layer of cells near the bark that is classified as a lateral meristem; this
growth in diameter is known as secondary growth.Using the natural curve, draw the outline
of the various expressions of my own, express myself to the world, like tree rings to express
their existence in this world.

< 굴레와 멍에 >
커피를 마시는 것은 잠깐이지만, 자유와 여유를 느끼게 해준다. 이러한 커피의 이면의 노동
의 착취라는 굴레가 있다. 꼬임의 형태로 굴레와 멍에를, 커피가루를 이용한 염색으로 자유의
향기를 입히고자 하였다. 커피를 담는 푸대자루 소재의 끈을 이용하여 자유 이면에는 굴레와
멍에가 존재한다는 것을 표현하고자 하였다.

< Bridle and Yoke >
Albeit being a brief moment, drinking coffee lets you feel freedom and relaxation. Hidden
behind this aspect of coffee lies the bridle of labor exploitation. The twists represent the bridle
and yoke, and the coloring from coffee powder represent the fragrance of freedom. By using a
cord made with the material from a coffee sack, I tried to express the bridle and yoke hidden
on the other side of freedom.

“얼음”에서 영감을 받았다. 코트의 조형에는 입체적으로 만들고 얼음을 표시한다.
< 존재와 시간 >
어느새 현대인들에게 익숙한 소비 패턴이 된 패스트 패션의 인권침해와 환경오염으로 진정
한 패션의 존재가 사라지고 있다. 나 역시 디자이너라는 직업으로 살아가며 패스트패션과 다
를 것 없는 디자인을 하고 있다. 살아가는 시간 속에 패션이 가진 존재의 의미를 표현하고 싶다.
< Frozen >
This design is inspired by the shape of ice cube, and use ice as model to make the shape.
< Sein und Zeit [Being and Time] >
Fast fashion, which has became a familiar consuming pattern among modern people, has
caused environmental pollution and abuse of human rights that lead to the extinction of authentic
fashion. I am also a designer and doing designs similar to fast fashion. I would like to
express the meanings of fashion during living times.

우리가 바다속의 신비를 탐색할 때. 나는 바다의 정수를 보게됐다. 산호는 지구에서 제일 오래 되고
제일 다양한 해양생물중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 그들은 해양의 가혹한 환경에서 아름다운 산호초
로 변했다. 산호가 죽어서 남긴 뼈들이 더 많은 산호충들로 하여금 위에서 한 송이 한송이의 꽃을 피
우게 한다. 이 작품속에는 산호의 모양과 조명의 결합으로 산호가 바닷속에서 보이는 오색찬란함을
표현했다. 또 복장의 형태와 산호를 결합하여 사람과 자연의 긴밀한 관계를 표현했다.
When we explored the secret of the bottom of the sea,i saw the quintessence of the sea.
The coral is thought to be one of the oldest and most colorful creature on the earth.They try to
grow vigorously , extend and build the beautiful coral reef.The skeleton of the coral after their
death makes the anthozoan bloom a lof of small soft flowers.In this work,it shows a riot of
colours by using the combination of the shape of the coral and the light.And it shows the tight
relationship between the people and the nature.

< 과거여행 >
한국의 전통적인 아름다움을 살리기 위해 옷에 고구려 벽화를 프린팅 하였고 옛 것의 아름다움
을 살리면서 세련되고 신선한 디자인을 해보았다. 디자인에서 추구하는 것은 단순한 ‘과거의 향
수’가 아니다. ‘새로운 해석을 더한’ 과거의 향수다. 무작정 ‘옛 것’만을 고집하기보다 옛 성질을
현대적으로 변화시킨 디자인을 선보인다.
< voyages passés ( Past Travel ) >
In order to save the traditional beauty of Korea, I printed Goguryeo mural on my clothes, and tried
to make a sophisticated and fresh design while utilizing the beauty of old. The pursuit of design is not
just a ‘past perfume’. It is a fragrance of the past that ‘adds a new interpretation’. Instead of stubbornly
insisting on ‘old things’, they show designs that have changed their old features to modern ones.

< 예술의 극치 >
우리 나라의 옛 건축물에는 여러가지 색깔의 그림 무늬가 그려져 있는데 이것을 ‘단청’이라고 부
른다. 우리 조상들은 단청에서 기둥을 비롯한 아래부분을 붉은색을 많이 쓰고 두공과 대들보 등
윗부분에는 푸른색을 많이 쓰는 ‘상록 하단’의 원칙을 지켜왔다. 이때부터 ‘단청’이라는 말이 이
로부터 유래되었다고 한다. 단청에 나타나는 연꽃 문양을 통해서 한국의 미적 아름다움을 보여
주고, 미의 극치를 작품에 담아 제작하였다.
< the highest reach of art >
Dancheong refers to decorative designs that can be found on the surfaces of old Korean buildings.
Some hypothesize that ‘dancheong’ originated from the principle named 常 綠 下 段 , using color red
for the bottom parts and color blue for the upper parts of building, which has been practiced for a
long time by Korean people. This work attempts to capture the Korean aesthetic beauty through the
lotus print that often appears in dancheong designs.

프레임은 세상을 바라보는 틀(관점, 가치관)이다. 옷에 대한 프레임은 시간의 흐름에 따라 바뀌
었고, 인간과 옷과 사회의 교감의 의미로 패션을 바라보면서 세상을 바라보는 마음의 창을 반
영한 옷을 만들기 시작했다. 그래서 이제 나에게 옷은 그동안 나의 착각과 오류, 오만과 편견,
실수와 오해가 프레임에 의해 생겨남을 증명하고, 그것에서 벗어나는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
< Reframe the frame >
The frame is a perspective and points of view the way we look at the world. The frame on clothing
has changed over time. Considering the fashion as an interaction among human, clothing and society,
we start to make clothing which reflect the window of mind gazing at the world. For that reason,
I would like to prove that my mistake and error, arrogance and prejudice, confusion and misunderstanding
about the clothing result from the frame and present the way to escape from there.

오스카 슐레머의 작품 3부작 발레에 의하면 원은 한계를 넘은 영원함을 의미한다. 무용수
는 인간이 지닌 중력에 의해 회전의 횟수, 도약하여 공중에 머무는 시간에 제한을 받는다.
무용수가 회전을 하고 있는 순간의 모습에서 원의 형태를 발견하였고 이 모습을 의상으로
표현하였다.

Ballet dancer has limits on turns and jumps of gravity. i found the shape of a circle when a
dancer was turning. And I tried to express eternal circle on fashion.

< 1398 >
컨셉: 숭례문을 모티브로 기와와 단청의 조형성을 의상으로 옮겼다.
제목 1398은 한국 국보 1호 숭례문이 처음 건립된 연도이며 컨셉이다.
숭례문에 나타난 한국의 전통 건축 건물인 기와와 단청의 요소를 의상 디자인에 접목하였
다. 잃어버린 전통에 관한 관심을 현대적인 니팅기법과 eva 소재를 이용하여 연출하였다.
특히 한국의 오방색을 중심으로 화려하고 다채로운 드레스와
딱딱하고 구조적인 기와를 조화시켜 텍스처의 다양성을 보여주고자 하였다.
Title 1398 is the concept of the first built-in works of Sungnyemun in Korea’s National Treasure
No.1 I interpreted Korean traditional architecture roofing tile “Giwa” and korean traditional
pattern “Danchung” in Sungnyemun as costume design.
The interest in the lost tradition was expressed using modern knitting techniques and eva material.
Especially, the dress color is expressed in five traditional Korean colors. I tried to show the
diversity of the texture by matching the structural roof tile “Giwa” with the dress.

< 꽃피우다 >
이 작품은 과거로부터 현재로 이어지는 시간 속에서 살아가고 있는 우리에게 과거의 유산이
현대에 와서 다시 꽃 피운다는 이야기를 담고 있다. 한국의 고궁에서부터 영감을 받아, 전통
문에서 모티브를 따와 패턴 디자인하였고, 단청과 기와에서 옷의 실루엣을 디자인 하였다. 전
통이 가져오는 농익은 멋스러움을 자카드 디자인의 조직에 담아 표현하였다.
< The Blooming >
This artwork tells us the story of the modern heritage. it comes to us who live in the time
leading up from the past to the present. I was inspired from the National Palace of Korea. Traditional
door was motif in pattern design, and the great luxury expressed by jacquard design.
The silhouette of clothes came from Dan-chung and Gi-wa’s line.

각박한 도시사회에서 경쟁속에 많이 힘들고 상처받아 감정이 차가워지고 냉정하여
그러한 심장을 얼음처럼 차가워지는 것을 작품으로 표현. 소재는 종이로 심장의 줄기가 의상
전체 퍼져나가는 것으로 표현 하였다.

and cool as ice cold expression to what work.

니트웨어에서 이미지들의 덩어리는 다소 무겁다. 이번 작업에서의 덩어리들은 이리저리 옮
겨 다니며 구멍을 메 우기도 하고, 짜임새 있는 리듬을 나타내기도 한다. 때로는 과감하고, 때
로는 이질적인 구성의 짜임으로 결코 착하지 않은 니트웨어를 표현한다.
Keeping away from a classic pattern, I make refreshed approach to the usage of knit ball. The
balls would be moving around the clothes rhythmically. This unexpected moving makes a
well-organized and aggressive design at the same time by knitting intensively or irregularly.
My design philosophy plays to variety movement of knit ball to express the extraordinary appearance.

호연지기란 도의( 道 義 )에 근거( 根 據 )를 두고 굽히지 않고 흔들리지 않는 바르고 큰 마음, 공
명정대( 公 明 正 大 )하 여 조금도 부끄럼 없는 용기( 勇 氣 ), 잡다( 雜 多 )한 일에서 벗어난 자유(
自 由 )로운 마음이다. 맑고 투명한 마음으로 지조 와 절개를 지키며 유혹에 흐트러짐 없이 불
의에 굴하지 않고 앞으로 곧게 나아가고자 한다.
곧게 자란 대나무 숲을 타고 흐르는 바람소리는 지극히 청량하여 머리와 마음을 맑고 바
르게 해준다.
< Vast Spirit >
I drew inspiration from a bamboo forest. There is a sound in the forest, the sound of wind
flowing peacefully through the bamboo forest which is so clear and cool that it makes my
spirit soothed and straighten out. I want to become a upright person who has integrity, fidelity
and constancy which are the basis of ‘Vast Spirit ( 浩 然 之 氣 )’ indicating a right and sound
mind, moral courage with impartiality and a free mind which is exempt from trivial matters.

< Korean Studiolo >
이번 작품은 조선시대 문자도에서 영감을 받아 작업하였다. 르네상스시대 권세가들은 자신
의 소장품을 ‘스투디올로’라 불린 일종의 공간에 진열했는데, 여기서 기원되어 독자적 형태로
발전한 것이 조선의 문자도이다. 당대 서민들은 문자도를 하나씩은 소유하고 싶어했으며, 이
번 작품 또한 보는 사람들로 하여금 소유하고 싶게 만들고자 하는 바람을 담아 제작하였다.
The artwork has begun with an inspiration from the painting of ‘Moonjado’ in Chosun dynasty.
Renaissance potentates exhibited their own collections in the spaces called ‘Studiolo’.
‘Moonjado’ originated in the ‘Studiolo’ as well, but it has been developed in its unique way.
As working class of the time desired to possess the painting of characters, the artwork was
produced with the wish making viewers people to desire to possess a piece of the artwork.

< 부분과 전체 >
작품은 두 조형의 조합으로 구성되었다. 작품I은 의상에서 가장 입체적인 부분인 소매를 반
복, 재배치하고 가장 넓은 공간을 조성할 있는 스커트 부분을 최대한 확장시킨 입체 조형이
고 작품II은 작품I을 구성한 부분들을 해체 하여 재배치한 평면조형이다. 입체적인 조형을 효
과적으로 표현 할 수 있는 네오플랜소재를 주로 사용하였고 여러 겹의 튤 소재 플레어 스커
트로 공간감을 극대화하였다.
< Part and Whole >
The work consisted of a combination of two modeling tasks. Task I was a three-dimensional mod-
eling in which sleeves are repeated and
rearranged as the most definite three-dimensional
part of the costume, while the
skirt is extended to the maximum to create
the widest space. Task II was a planar
modeling in which the parts constituting
Task I are disassembled and rearranged.
For the most part, neoprene material was
used, as it can effectively express three-dimensional
modeling and several layers
of tulle fabric were used to give the flared
skirt the maximized impression of space.

< 내면 ( 感 情 ) >
작품을 표현하기 위해 초현실주의(Surrealism)의 더페이즈망(Depaysement)기법을 응용하
여 작품을 제작하였다. 작품은 사람을 처음 알아가며 느끼는 설레이는 감정, 시간적 흐름에
따라 변화되는 감정, 끝으로 모든 과정을 지나 단단해진 내면과 감정의 상태를 의미한다. 또
한 감 정변화의 내면 상태를 꽃에 비유하였고 아름다운 꽃을 보는 건 잠시지만, 보이지 않
는 뿌리부 분이 견고하면 꽃의 아름다운 순간을 다시 만나게 된다는 것을 표현하고 있다.

시각적인 착각은 무한히 확장되거나 소멸되는 움직임으로 인식된다.
부피를 갖는 조형물이 압축되거나 확장되 기 위해서 ‘접기’와 ‘펼침’이라는 조형적인 기법인
‘오리가미(origami)를 사용하였다. 플라이케이션은 2차원의 평면을 구부리고 접어 3차원의
형상을 만들어내고 입체적인 볼륨을 형성한다.

Applying surrealism and depaysement,
the work conveys the excitement of
knowing a person at first, changing feelings
with time, and inner strength and
emotions after all phases of relationship.
Describing a flower as the inner state of
changing feelings, this work relates that
we might see a beautiful flower briefly, yet
meet it again only if the invisible.
A visual illusion is perceived as unlimited
expansion or perished movement. The
origami, which is folding and unfolding
techniques, is used to express compression
and expansion of volumed formative
object. Plication forms three-dimensional
shape by folding two-dimensional flat material
and create stereoscopic volume.

Yanan Tian was born in 5th of March 1990, graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology,

前 尘 往 事 , 如 烟 如 梦 , 花 开 花 落 , 悲 欢 离 合 , 都 只 是 时 光 里 的 流 沙 , 岁 月 留 下 的 印
记 。 采 用 半 透 明 的 硫 酸 纸 作 为 作 品 的 主 要 材 质 , 用 遇 水 后 的 定 型 和 定 型 后 轻 脆 的 视
觉 效 果 以 及 凌 乱 的 褶 皱 效 果 来 表 达 记 忆 中 的 朦 胧 往 事 ; 胸 前 的 晕 染 和 裙 摆 的 上 色 效 果
也 体 现 了 往 事 在 岁 月 中 的 渐 行 渐 远 。 逝 去 的 岁 月 如 同 被 点 燃 的 枝 叶 , 由 生 至 还 , 故
此 取 名 “ 燃 枝 ” 。
< FUSE >
Everything in the past is like smoke and a dream. Flowers bloom and fade, vicissitudes which
is the quicksand of time, and the time left the impress upon it. Paper as the main material,
it appeared strong, crispy and crinkle effective after retting. It is expressing the hazy years
in past. Faded color at chest and peplum is like the days vanished. Therefore I named this
work “FUSE”.

水 墨 在 宣 纸 上 流 动 渗 入 , 这 一 过 程 传 达 着 中 国 文 化 中 的 晕 染 美 与 不 确 定 的 朦 胧 雅 致 。
用 传 统 的 材 料 与 当 代 的 艺 术 手 法 和 形 式 相 结 合 表 达 传 统 中 国 文 化 的 的 时 空 突 破 。

Ink is flowing on the garments. I use the Chinese traditional art manifestation to combine
with garment element to show the culture can be expressed in difrrent forms.

Inspired by the childhood memory which I was being bullied, I deconstruct the school uniform,

就 犹 如 设 置 指 纹 密 码 一 样 , 需 要 不 断 的 了 解 、 定 位 。 作 品 以 透 明 PVC 为 底 , 用 红 、
白 色 毛 线 从 心 的 部 位 开 始 勾 画 指 纹 的 形 状 , 其 中 灰 色 毛 线 表 示 尚 未 认 知 的 部 分 。 意
在 以 服 装 的 语 言 寻 找 了 解 自 我 的 密 码 。
Fingerprint identification is different from digital password, it required multiple fingerprint
screenings in order to complete the authentication.similar to human cognitive process of self
recognition, fingerprint password setup requirescomprehensive reading and continuouspositioning,The
work is built on a transparent PVC layer,With red and white wool from the heart
of the site began to outline the shape of the fingerprint, the not yet cognitive remains in grey.
My work usefashion language to demonstrate the code for self understanding.

我 发 现 中 国 女 人 除 了 阴 柔 之 美 还 有 另 一 种 少 的 刚 毅 之 美 , 这 是 一 种 收 在 柔 弱 身 体
里 却 无 法 掩 饰 住 的 神 韵 之 美 , 独 立 、 高 贵 且 不 可 侵 犯 , 黑 色 的 充 满 禅 意 的 线 条 代 表
了 她 们 隐 忍 、 坚 强 和 从 容 , 正 如 时 下 很 多 独 立 女 性 , 天 赋 异 禀 , 有 着 超 然 的 自 信 与
霸 , 却 藏 而 不 露 , 这 是 一 种 天 然 的 修 炼 。
< Black or White >
In addition to the feminine beauty of Chinese women,I found there is another rare fortitude
of beauty, which is inside the weak body but can not hide the beauty of charm, independent,
noble and inviolable. Black Zen line represents tolerance, strong and calm. As nowadays independent
women, they are talented, having a detached self-confidence and domineering, but
also mostly hidden, this is a natural practice.

作 为 本 系 列 的 灵 感 缪 斯 , 更 像 是 极 繁 主 义 者 的 狂 欢 。 我 延 续 了 love 惯 用 的 穿 衣 风 格 ,
运 用 真 丝 、 针 织 以 及 大 量 的 蕾 丝 花 边 结 合 混 搭 , 通 过 重 新 的 认 识 与 改 造 , 用 柔 和 的
轮 廓 想
要 表 达 出 love 身 上 颓 废 优 雅 的 女 性 气 质 。 本 系 列 以 她 为 起 点 , 演 绎 我 眼 中 对
摇 滚 文 化 , 对 新 女 性 的 理 解 —— 年 轻 的 女 孩 儿 , 一 定 要 去 做 自 己 想 做 的 喜 欢 的 事 。
As the grunge leader, Courtney Love has a very strong personal style. To choose Love as the
muse for this series, I continued with Love’s usual fashion style, mix and match the use of silk,
knitting and a lot of voile lace. Through the re-cognition and transformation to express Love’s
decadent but elegant body of femininity with soft contours. This series takes Love’s style as a
starting point to portray my interpretation of the rock cultural and my understanding of new
women – Young girls need to be sure to do what they want.
