the University of Manchester (see map below)

WHY: Attending this event gives you a chance to:
· Meet members of The University project management team and understand their drivers for
the project
· Meet the Balfour Beatty and NG Bailey Team responsible for constructing MECD
· Get guidance on how to use the electronic tendering portal (Conject)
· View the overall construction programme to gain a better idea of when your works would take
place
· Meet with Sir Robert McAlpine and Laing O’Rourke to discuss opportunities on the other
projects being constructed for The University of Manchester
· Meet the design team to log queries about your package and help you to understand the
scheme when putting your prices together
· Understand what systems have been put in place to help you obtain apprentices to help meet
the targets that are being set across the project
