Department when I was at high school so I had lots of computer<br />
teachers. I keep in contact with some of my former teachers.<br />
Verda: Which technology equipment do you like most?<br />
Seda Teacher: Smart phones, of course … I love smart phones! I<br />
think I am addicted to social media, some applications <strong>and</strong> mobile<br />
phone tools. I love all of them so I always, always check my social<br />
media accounts <strong>and</strong> check my applications at home. I love cell<br />
phones, I can’t live without my cell phone. When I sleep, I always put<br />
my phone next to me. It is always with me, sometimes under my pillow.<br />
Lara: Why did you decide to be a computer teacher?<br />
Seda Teacher: Today’s kids, the new generation, know how to use<br />
technology better than we do. Today's kids are born into a technology<br />
<strong>and</strong> they live in the century of new Technologies. The next generation<br />
will know more than us about technology. When they get older, they<br />
will need technology more <strong>and</strong> more. They can do a lot of good things with technology. Children<br />
like technology. They love technology for example, computer games, cell phones…etc. so they can<br />
be computer teachers. They will love it. If they like children <strong>and</strong> technology, then they should<br />
choose to be a computer teacher. However, knowing technology is not enough to be a computer<br />
teacher. Loving kids <strong>and</strong> being happy with them are also important. You can be a computer<br />
teacher.<br />
Gamze: What are the advantages of the animation club?<br />
Seda Teacher: As you see, we are working on some animation websites, animation tools <strong>and</strong><br />
applications for creating animations. Students love creating animations. They learn about new<br />
animation tools <strong>and</strong> this makes them excited <strong>and</strong> happy. They are curious about the activities. It<br />
is a pleasure for them. I give them a topic about Eco Schools, New Year or Christmas <strong>and</strong><br />
introduce them to the tool to create their animation. Then they work on it <strong>and</strong> if I like them, I<br />
share them with other teachers. This is a pleasure for me. This is all about our club.<br />
