Responsible for managing an office of seven mental health clinicians, reporting to<br />

the Clinical Director who is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric<br />

Association. Administered and scored questionnaires for a since-published local study<br />

into the resocialization efforts of the Clinical Director’s mental health initiative. Also<br />

scored various assessments as part of both intake and follow-up assessment<br />

procedures. Drafted mental health documents for court, for jobs, for emotional support<br />

animals, for health professionals, and pharmacists. Had various opportunities to meet<br />

with local organizations like Urban Renewal regarding strategies to help our<br />

Worked alongside the Head Instructor of the Let’s Talk Program at a school for<br />

special needs children with various developmental delays. Assisted in the planning and<br />

running of general preschool activities and individualized curriculum for children aged<br />

3-6 with limited ability to communicate verbally. Activities included story time, arts and<br />

crafts, outdoor play, and tasks specifically developed to stimulate language, social, and<br />

cognitive development.<br />

Caribbean Center for Child Development (Summer Intern) / 2009 – 2011<br />

Administered and scored a full battery of neuropsychoeducational assessments for<br />

children between the ages of 5 and 17 requested by parents, schools, and government<br />

departments under the supervision of two licensed school and clinical child<br />

psychologists. Compiled and drafted full reports and screenings which were<br />

overviewed by the psychologists before they reported to the requesting authority. My<br />

affinity for details and urgency ensured minor errors with a swift turnaround.<br />
