George loves <strong>to</strong> swim in his own<br />
big pool for therapy <strong>to</strong> help with all<br />
the health problems. Not much surfing<br />
anymore since it’s become difficult <strong>to</strong><br />
even walk on the beach with neuropathy.<br />
He suffers from a 100% debilitation<br />
from the Vietnam era agent orange<br />
assimilation in<strong>to</strong> the body.<br />
He loves commission paintings<br />
and pho<strong>to</strong>graphy, his dream gig but<br />
will do the occasional wedding pho<strong>to</strong><br />
shoot as well. GB has shot book covers,<br />
many band pho<strong>to</strong>s including the<br />
original SPANKS band.<br />
Once in Miami on a LLoyds of<br />
London insurance pho<strong>to</strong> claim shoot,<br />
George was asked <strong>to</strong> go inside the<br />
Queen Elizabeth engine cylinder in a<br />
hazmat suit and observe engine damage,<br />
suddenly the turbines began <strong>to</strong><br />
turn with him inside, then he realized<br />
it was only the auxilliary engines.<br />
He once did an underwater wedding<br />
at the Miami Sequarium, and a<br />
train wedding for a Chicago bound<br />
Amtrak couple on their honeymoon.<br />
George predicts that the future<br />
of art will be very digital, physical,<br />
and predicts that baby boomers will<br />
abound in art ideas, 60 <strong>to</strong> 70 percent<br />
of them will want <strong>to</strong> be involved in the<br />
arts, and the millenniums will be art<br />
driven as well.<br />
George says, “ I still love <strong>to</strong> do<br />
both....pho<strong>to</strong>graphy and painting, always<br />
will. But surfing and playing music<br />
is a little problematic with physical<br />
limitations.” George plays some keyboard<br />
and monster blues harp, guitar is<br />
<strong>to</strong>ugh on the joints.<br />
