Parkinson’s Care Post Graduate Unit of Study
By now you will be very aware how seriously the issue of Parkinson’s Care nursing is to our members and, indeed, all
people affected by Parkinson’s whether they be diagnosed, family, Carers, friends or colleagues. Parkinson’s Queensland
believes the availability of Parkinson’s Care Post Graduate Unit of Study program will assist with reinforcing the
importance of the role of the Parkinson’s Nurse Specialists within the community and to governments.
The Parkinson’s Care subject through the Australian College of Nursing is complete and ready for students to undertake in

The Management Committee of Parkinson’s Queensland Inc (PQI) is committed to providing Grants or Awards to be taken
up by: Queensland based registered nurses wishing to take up the Parkinson’s Care Post Graduate Unit of Study in 2019.
On offer will include five (5) Awards of up to $2,500 each for QLD based Registered Nurses totalling of $12,500 in 2018 –
2019 Financial Year.
Your employee, is currently in the process of applying for this award and will need your endorsement as part of the
application for this award.
