Storm is a 16 year old Tasmanian singer songwriter. At age 8 she received<br />
Isla<br />
through the David Jaanz School of Singing with Lisa Wellings. During<br />
lessons<br />
time Isla Storm sang at The Queens Head, The Duke of Wellington and<br />
that<br />
Foreshore Tavern. She learned piano from her mother, and is a self<br />
the<br />
guitarist. At age 14, providing the entertainment at “Overload" an art<br />
taught<br />
fundraiser for Haemochromatosis, led to another gig at the<br />
exhibition<br />
Food Trucks event. Other appearances include the Cygnet Folk<br />
Moonah<br />
and busking around Hobart and Bicheno. Further singing lessons<br />
Festival<br />
with Ursula Leung during 2016, with a concluding recital. An open mic<br />
were<br />
held by the Australian Songwriters Association at the Royal Hobart<br />
session<br />
resulted in invitations to perform her original compositions at Irish<br />
Regatta,<br />
Waterman’s Beer Garden and The Sepultchure. Isla Storm has also<br />
Murphy’s,<br />
for private Christmas, engagement and birthday parties. APRA<br />
entertained<br />
provided the opportunity to write and record a song with other<br />
AMCOS<br />
students, performing the finished product at Mona. Currently tutored<br />
college<br />
Katy Raucher at Elizabeth College, Isla Storm is eager to make a career as<br />
by<br />

a singer songwriter. She is also very interested in learning <strong>music</strong> production.
