Cool Insulation Removal Vacuum for Commercial
Purpose-coolmachines.com
Insulation Vacuum systems belong to the great innovations in the field of construction and are subject to growing interest. Unlike what
happens with most construction products, these are highly complex systems, whose use can be accompanied by a large number of
errors.
This makes it necessary a high degree of competence on the part of designers and construction professionals. The heat transport
inside conventional type insulation consists of 20-30% of thermal radiation, 5-10% of heat conduction by the structural material and 65-
75% of thermal conduction by the volume of gas enclosed.
The effective principle of cool insulation removal vacuum systems is based on the minimization of the main path of heat transmission
through the evacuation of the gas, responsible for the conduction of heat. To maintain a permanent insulation removal vacuums in a
vacuum insulating system, a gas-tight enclosure containing the evacuated volume is necessary, e.g. ex. of glass, sheet metal, plastic or
synthetic composite sheets. The contained volume can be empty or filled with a material that is completely porous.
This system must support, depending on the degree of vacuum, an important part of the atmospheric pressure.
Properties of each of the insulation systems:
Industrial vacuum for insulation removal is a material used in construction and industry, characterized by its high thermal resistance.
It establishes a barrier to the passage of heat between two media that would naturally tend to equalize in temperature, preventing heat
from passing through the separators of the system of interest (such as a home or a refrigerator) with the surrounding environment.
In general, all materials offer resistance to the passage of heat, that is, they are thermal insulators. The difference is that there are
materials that have a very large resistance, so that small thicknesses of material have a sufficient resistance to the user that wants to
be given.
Thermal insulation material:
The Insulation Vacuum, one of the best thermal insulators is a vacuum, in which heat is only transmitted by radiation but due to the
great difficulty in obtaining and maintaining vacuum conditions, it is rarely used. In practice, air is used mostly with low humidity, which
prevents the passage of heat by conduction, thanks to its low thermal conductivity, and radiation, thanks to a low absorption coefficient.
Which is a thermal insulator?
The air conveys heat by convection which reduces its insulation capacity. For this reason, porous or fibrous materials are used as
thermal insulation, capable of immobilizing dry air and confining it inside more or less watertight cells. Although in most cases the
enclosed gas is common air, in closed pore insulators formed by bubbles that are not communicated with each other as in the case of
projected polyurethane.
The gas used as a foaming agent is the one that is finally enclosed. It is also possible to use other combinations of different gases but
its use is very limited.
Other insulating materials:
Among the most used blown insulation removal vacuum materials, we can find rigid ceramic fiber, ceramic fiber in blanket, moldable
ceramic fiber, reinforced ceramic fiber, semi-rigid mixed fibers, inorganic fibers and soluble fibers, among many other varieties, each
having its advantages and inconveniences, as well as a range of functionality, temperature, and different application, adapting to each
need. Just visit coolmachines.com for more details.
