Learn How to Get Rid of Your Bacterial Vaginosis Now!
Are you pregnant and wondering about or have an ovarian cyst? Are you experiencing severe,
discomfort, abdominal and pelvic pain? Do you also have hard time passing urine completely?
If so then by reading the rest of the article I will be sharing with you some helpful tips and
information on ovarian cyst and pregnancy. A cyst is a small fluid filled sac that can develop
and be found anywhere in the body. An ovarian cyst is develop in an ovary of a woman.
To find out if you have an ovarian cyst you can basically go to your doctor and ask for a pelvic
exam. If you find out that you have it and that you are also pregnant your doctor will most
likely schedule you for an ultrasound to see the shape, location, size or if it is fluid filled, solid
and mixed.
To be eligible for an ultrasound if you are pregnant you need to be in your second trimester of
pregnancy. Basically first trimester of pregnancy is anywhere between 1 to 13 weeks and
second trimester is anywhere between 14 to 27 weeks of pregnancy.
In order to have a safe ultrasound you need to be at least 14 to 16 weeks of pregnancy.
Ovarian cyst and pregnancy is not a very common thing because the chances of getting it,
according to extensive medical research are 1 out of a 1000 woman.
After getting an ultrasound and finding out the results of the ovarian cyst your doctor will
reschedule you for another ultrasound to see if it shrink or gotten larger. When your second
ultrasound is done and find that it has gotten bigger (6cm and above) he or she will mostly
likely advise you too have a surgery.
