COMM 110 Week 5 Effective Listening Presentation NEW
Reflect on the University of Phoenix Material: Listening Evaluation. If you find it
helpful, you may wish to create an outline using the worksheet to help you prepare
for your presentation.
Create a video about effecive listening accompanied by an 8- to 10-slide
Microsoft®PowerPoint® presentation with which includes the following:
A description of what makes an effective listener
An explanation of why listening skills are important for effective presentations
A description of common symptoms of poor listening skills
A description of at least two methods for improving one’s listening skills
Submit your presentation to YouSeeU. Once lsubmitted, paste URL for the video into
an MS Word document and submit document to the Assignment section of this
exercise.
In addition to your main video presentation, choose at least one piece of media,
such as a short video or animation clip, in which you demonstrate effective listening.
This can be a video that you create yourself or you can use outside sources, such as
YouTube, to find video clips or short animations that would add clarity to one of the
main points in your presentation. Submit this video clip as a classroom assignment
with this exercise.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
