<strong>AOA</strong> Spring Wildflower Photo Contest<br />

Attend an <strong>AOA</strong> spring wildflower event, take images and<br />

enter our photo <strong>contest</strong> from April 1 to May 31, 2019<br />

Rules and entry details will be provided closer to the <strong>contest</strong> date. Free to enter. All entries must be from an <strong>AOA</strong> site.<br />

<strong>AOA</strong> is dedicated to the conservation and stewardship<br />

of our land and water as sustainable natural<br />

resources that are an asset and a legacy for our<br />

community.<br />

Prizes are being donated by REI, NANPA, Kelbyone and Midwest Photo<br />

Jim worked for the Ohio<br />

Department of Natural<br />

Resources for 31 years as a<br />

botanist, and later specializing<br />

in wildlife diversity projects,<br />

especially involving birds. He<br />

has authored or coauthored<br />

six books He has written<br />

numerous articles in a<br />

variety of publications, and<br />

Jim McCormac has delivered hundreds of<br />

presentations throughout the<br />

eastern United States. He was named 2015 Conservation<br />

Communicator of the Year by the Ohio League of<br />

Sportsmen. Jim is an avid photographer, shooting a range<br />

of natural history subjects. He has had hundreds of photos<br />

published in various forums.<br />

Meet the Judges<br />

Robert Henn is a biologist,<br />

naturalist, teacher, and a<br />

native and lifelong resident<br />

of Ohio. He taught Biology<br />

for 36 years in Dayton<br />

Public Schools and Sinclair<br />

Community College. He is<br />

retired as the Curator of the<br />

Herbarium at the Aullwood<br />

Audubon Center and Farm<br />

Robert Henn in Dayton. Henn is the<br />

author of the popular field guide Wildflowers of Ohio;<br />

Indiana University Press; Bloomington, IN. 2nd Ed.<br />

2008. He and his wife live in Lebanon.<br />
