CRYOTHERAPY
Cold can be used to target specific body areas and treat a
variety of conditions..
Topical cryotherapy may, for instance, target only a joint or limb, with
numerous health benefits including:
• Decreased blood flow, leading to reduced swelling
• Reduction of inflammation

• Reduced muscle tension
This therapeutic treatment has a wide range of applications, including:
• Injuries such as bruises and strains; it is also useful in the event of

QMD is an innovative device for non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
Its single ergonomic handpiece delivers both exogenous heat
(thermal therapy) and cold (cryotherapy).
CRYOLIPOLYSIS WITH QMD ® SÉLENE
Using the handpiece, the therapist performs a cold massage to cool
the fatty tissue to a temperature of +2/+3 °C for a specific period of
time. This causes fat cells to be destroyed and eliminated from the
body via the lymphatic system.
This process is gradual and takes several weeks. After approximately
three months, significant results are visible. A notable reduction in

Hamam
Hamams are particularly well known in Jordan, Persia, Syria and
Turkey. In the past, travellers would stop at a hamam to rest, wash
the desert sand from their bodies and prepare themselves for the
next stretch of their journey. Hamams have been a mainstay of
bathing culture ever since.

The ritual begins with a warm, aromatic steam bath. After your body
is lathered up on the marble table, your circulation is stimulated
using a peeling glove called kese. The soap is then rinsed off with
water. After the peeling, you can dip into a bathing experience
straight out of 1001 Arabian Nights. The finest oils are then applied to
your skin, replenishing its moisture. The final stage is spent resting in
our luxurious oriental bed.

offer general dental medicine, 24-hour emergency
treatment, professional tooth cleaning

IN-DEPTH CONSULTATION
Talk through your requirements, wishes and
goals with a dentist in the relaxed atmosphere
of our specially equipped dental surgery, identifying
any problems you might have and the
best options for treating them.
INTRAORAL IMAGES BEFORE AND
AFTER TREATMENT
A special experience at our dental surgery is
the live recording of your mouth. Using an
intraoral camera, we’ll take images of your
teeth and gums and show them to you while
you’re sitting in the chair. This gives you a
better understanding of your current problem
areas and allows us to make the best possible
suggestions for treatment.
EXAMINATION OF THE MOUTH/JAW/
FACE AREA INCLUDING ORAL HYGIENE
REPORT
By conducting a survey of your oral hygiene
status, we can examine the extent of your cavities,
damaged fillings and plaque (microbial
covering), as well as any inflammation of your
gums. The initial examination includes a measurement
of the periodontal pocket depths. This
helps us to recognise whether your gums are
healthy or are showing signs of a superficial
gum infection (gingivitis). If a tentative diagnosis
of periodontitis is made (when the depths
are wider than 4mm), a further examination in
the form of a test for bacteria is advised. About
50 per cent of all heart and circulatory disorders
originate from a high number of bacteria
in the mouth. These promote diseases such as
diabetes and arteriosclerosis and can also
cause babies to be born prematurely.
PROFESSIONAL TEETH CLEANING BY A
DENTAL HYGIENIST
The Airflow System is an innovative procedure
for professional teeth cleaning and can be
used as an alternative to, or to complement,
traditional techniques. The gentle Airflow
treatment cleanses your teeth using a warmed
mixture of powder and water (mostly sodium
carbonate) that swirls around the surfaces of
the teeth and the gaps between them. Airflow
is particularly good for cleaning hard-to-reach
places. This technique is also suitable for
cleaning replacement teeth, crowns and implants,
providing excellent results every time.

DENTAL CARE FOR CHILDREN AND
TEENS
In a relaxed holiday atmosphere, away from
everyday stresses and pressures, our dental
surgery offers preventative programmes for
children to help them avoid dental problems.
Our special camera helps to show your children
the best way to clean their teeth, and
colouring is used to highlight clean areas and
differentiate between old and new plaque.
Nutritional advice rounds off the programme.
BLEACHING
Fläsh, the new teeth whitening system from
Bluedenta, is a safe and gentle procedure for
brilliant white teeth. This aesthetic treatment
works using hydrogen peroxide and chlorophyll.
Your teeth will be between 4 and 7 shades
brighter after about 60 minutes. Before
bleaching is performed, however, it is recommended
that you have your teeth cleaned
professionally.

CANCELLATION
Please let us know if you are unable to join
us for the appointment you have booked.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance
of your appointment incur no charge.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment,
you will be billed for the full amount.
CHECK-IN
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If you suffer from any medical conditions,
allergies or intolerances, or if you are pregnant,
please let us know.
JEWELLERY
In order for your treatment to go as smoothly
as possible, we request that you remove all
your jewellery in advance. We accept no responsibility
for lost pieces of jewellery.
MASSEUR/MASSEUSE
When booking your treatment, you may of
course let us know whether you would like a
male or female massage professional. We will
be pleased to accommodate your preference.
Please arrive at least five minutes before your
appointment. We make every effort to begin all
treatments promptly. You are advised to arrive
wearing your bathrobe and slippers/flip-flops
and without jewellery. Please also understand
that, if you are late, the length of your
treatment will be shortened accordingly.
