Faculty of
The beginnings of organised higher
education of civil engineers go back to
the year 1967, when the Department
of Higher Technical Civil Engineering
School was established in Osijek. The
Faculty of Civil Engineering in Osijek
started its activities in 1976. Since then
it has become one of the leading
institutions in the area of structural
research, analysis and design.
According to the the quality of
curricula of the undergraduate and
graduate studies, the success of the
scientific and teaching workers,
co-workers and other faculty members
in all fields of their work, and the
successful managing with the revenues,
the Faculty has proved its seriousness and
high position in university education and
science in Croatia. The concept of the
study programs follows the tradition of
high-quality university education of civil
engineers in our region sand coordinates
them with the modern European (the
Bologna Declaration) and world trends.
Graduate students aquire knowledge
to work in civil engineering firms, design
offices, educational institutions, research
centers, public companies, in management
and abroad.
The Faculty has established very good
international relations with a number
of European technical faculties and
universities.
Undergraduate Study
1. Civil Engineering
- duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
- upon completion of studies, student
obtains 180 ECTS
- upon completion of the study
program, student is awarded academic
title: Bachelor of Civil Engineering
