ZAŠTO BAKAR?

Na samom početku proizvodnje alkoholnih

pića, korišćeni su različiti metali za pravljenje

destilacionih uređaja (bakar, gvožđe, kalaj,

aluminijum, legura-nerđajući čelik itd.), ali

bakar se pokazao kao daleko najbolji metal

koji je u upotrebi hiljadama godina upravo

zbog:

1. prednosti fizičkog dizajna

2. otpornosti na koroziju

3. katalitičke uloge u kvalitetu

dobijenog destilata

4. odlične provodljivosti toplote

Destilati dobijeni iz aparata izrađenih od

stakla, nerđajućeg čelika ili drugih metala

imaju loše organoleptičke karakteristike

(gorko, prazan, metalni i/ili suv miris i ukus).

Estri viših kiselina koje se vezuju za bakar

proizvode veoma prijatnu aromu koja povećava

kvalitet finalnog destilata.

Pored otpornosti na organske kiseline, posle

srebra - bakar je najbolji termički provodnik i
