A collection of posters illustrated by Margaret Senior for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. Margaret Senior (1917-1995) was a celebrated natural history and children's book illustrator. Born in London, she migrated to Australia in the 1940s. Her most notable works were originally commissioned for the NSW Fauna Protection Panel (1948-1967) and some were later published its successor agency, the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (1967-2003) including fire prevention posters. She was also well known for her work illustrating diseases of plants. She illustrated many children's books in the 1950s and 60s including Eve Pownall's Australia Book (1952).
