incredible; and I would still leave someone out.
We have several people that really do a lot for
our club and we need to make sure we let them
ALL know how much we appreciate their
donation of time, materials and effort! If you
know of someone that has done anything to
make our little place better; pat them on the
back – shake their hand and let them know how
much you appreciate them. The people of
cowboy action shooting are a special blessing!
I am blessed to have a wonderful wife that
probably deserves a lot better than me. Like so
many of us cowboys I probably married way
beyond my means. And like so many hard
headed, hard hearted cowboys I probably don’t
let her know how blessed I feel to have her no
where near enough. I love you Shoot Fire and
you are an amazing blessing in my life!
Along with my lovely bride come the absolutely
positively best in-laws anyone could ever ask
for. I can’t imagine that there could possibly be
any better people anywhere on this here planet
and I am so blessed to have them as my very
own in-laws.
And oh yeah, speaking of blessings. Shoot Fire
and I have been blessed with an incredible
grandchild. She is the most awesomest ever and
is blessed with good health. I recently heard the
story of a family that had premature twins with
numerous health issues and all that they are
having to face. It made me feel fortunate that we
were blessed with a healthy grandbaby.
Blessings? Yep we are also blessed to have
children that have grown into great adults. To
see my son take time out of his day off to attend
a funeral for a person that had been a great
mentor to him made me very proud. What was
really cool was that he did it on his own without
being asked. And to see a daughter give birth to
a healthy grandbaby for us and watch her
blossom as a parent along with her terrific
husband is really special. What great blessings!
Sorry if I got too mushy and sentimental folks.
But we all really should stop in this hectic world
we live in and think about these things. What
are your blessings? Do you have people in your
life you consider a blessing? Have you told
them lately? Don’t wait until it’s TOO LATE!

I had placed a call to him earlier in the week
and about the time I put his photo in the
newsletter he called me! Seems that for the
time being “work” is keeping him away from
being able to entertain us. But the word I
got is that before long things will be changed
and he WILL be back to shooting! Bet he will
come back with a vengeance fellas. Guess I
better enjoy my time of being above him in
