COFFEE FILTER HOLDERS 

Brew smart and fresh ... the old fashioned way: Place a #2, #4, or #6 coffee filter inside these porcelain filter holders, and brew directly into a 

mug, pot or insulated server. For even better flavor, use our permanent #2 or #4 gold filters. Made of fireproof hard porcelain. 

It is so easy: 

Rinse filter holder with hot water. Set atop coffee pot, insulated server or mug. Place filter inside holder. Add ground coffee (medium to fine grind). 

Per 5 fl. oz. of water, use 0.3 oz. freshly ground coffee. In a separate vessel, pre-measure water and heat to approximately 200°F (just below full 

boil). Starting in the center, pour a small amount of water in a circular motion over the ground coffee until the surface is wet. Wait for 30 seconds 

to let the coffee “bloom”, then slowly add the remaining hot water. Total brew time should be between 2½ to 3 minutes.

How easy is it to open/close? 

You don’t need two hands for this maneuver, either. The lid opens or closes with just 

a quarter turn. With just two fingers, you can turn the mid-section of the handle (in 

the center of the lid) to securely open and close. It doesn’t get any easier! 

Am I glued to the kitchen to observe the cooking process? 

Not with this one! A removable timer is integrated into the handle. 

What’s been done to make it totally safe? 

There are 5 integrated safety devices so this pressure cooker can never open under pressure.
