Mariusz Szczygiel in his book, talking about Janina Turek, writes: "In<br />
the daily routine there is always something happening. We hurry<br />
countless small tasks without expecting that they will leave traces in our<br />
memory, even less in others. In fact our actions are not carried out in<br />
order to remain in the memory, but by necessity. Over time, every taken<br />
effort in our daily bustle is delivered to oblivion. "<br />
Janina Turek, housewife of Krakow, has chosen as the object of her<br />
observation only what is daily, those hundreds of small actions that<br />
accompany our life. No comments. No emotions. Only observation and a<br />
detailed list. Objects, food, clothing, small things of everyday life are the<br />
center of our thinking for this installation / performance inspired and<br />
dedicated to Janina Turek. The so many things that, in a more or less<br />
disorder way, crowd our homes - that are used every day or forgotten -<br />
are always the gods and the spirits of our daily lives.
Daria Deflorian and Antonio Tagliarini are two Rome-based artists who<br />
started their collaboration in 2008. Daria Deflorian is author and<br />
interpreter of visually powerful works linked to the XX century<br />
literature. Antonio Tagliarini is an author and performer who has always<br />
contaminated his work with theatre. “Rewind, a tribute to Cafè Müller by<br />
Pina Bausch” is the fusion of these two inspirations. The performance<br />
premiered at Short Theatre Festival - Rome and was later presented in<br />
other Italian cities, in Germany, Spain and Portugal. “From a to d and<br />
back again”, freely inspired to Andy Warhol’s philosophy, was selected<br />
by ZTL-pro in 2009 and premiered at Teatro Palladium in Rome with the<br />
participation of the musician Fabrizio Spera. In 2012 did for Face à Face<br />
the mise-en-espace of “Identitè” text by Gérard Watkins.<br />
Daria Deflorian. Actress, author and director. She worked as an actress,<br />
amongst others, with: Lucia Calamaro, Marco Baliani, Fabrizio Arcuri,<br />
Mario Martone, Martha Clarke (New York Theatre Workshop), Remondi<br />
e Caporossi, Fabrizio Crisafulli, Marcello Sambati. She served as<br />
assistant director for Mario Martone, Pippo Delbono and for Eimuntas<br />
Nekrosius’ Anna Karenina. Among her latest productions: Manovre di<br />
volo (2001) after Daniele Del Giudice, Torpignattara (2004) after<br />
P.P.Pasolini’s “Petrolio”, Corpo a Corpo (2007) in collaboration with<br />
Alessandra Cristiani, Bianco (2008) from Azzurra D’Agostino’s poems.<br />
Antonio Tagliarini. Performer, author and director. Among his latest<br />
works: Trilogia sulla rappresentazione: Freezy (2003), titolo provvisorio:<br />
senza titolo (2005) and Show (2007) presented in Italy, Slovenia,<br />
Germany, Spain and Portugal. L’ottavo giorno (2008) created with<br />
Ambra Senatore. Rewind – a tribute to Café Müller by Pina Bausch<br />
(2008) created with Daria Deflorian. From a to d and back again (2009)<br />
created with Daria Deflorian. Royal Dance created with Idoia Zabaleta<br />
(2010 - Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil). Antonio&Miguel created with<br />
Miguel Pereira (2010 - Portugal, Italy). Often invited to stage in<br />
numerous international projects such as APAP 2007, “Sites of<br />
Imagination” 2008 and “Pointe to Point” Asia-Europe Dance Forum<br />
2009. He works and collaborates with various artists such as<br />
Massimiliano Civica, Fabrizio Arcuri, Idoia Zapaleta, Daria Deflorian,<br />
Ambra Senatore, Miguel Pereira, Raffaella Giordano, Giorgio Rossi.<br />
