French Riviera - 8 day suggested itinerary 

Day 1: Fly by private jet to Nice and transfer to Monaco by helicopter. 

Board your yacht in Port Hercule and enjoy welcome drinks and lunch 

on board. Take a stroll into the city centre and enjoy a quick visit to the 

casino before spending the night in port.

designated Very Light Jet (VLJ) category. It allows 

seating for four passengers and two crew members.

Citation CJ2 

The Citation CJ2 is an excellent aircraft for short 

European trips, with a cruise speed of 420mph and a 

range of over 1,550 miles. 

The fifth generation of the popular Citation Jet series, 

a class of private jets designed to be economical and 

high-performing offering lower fuel burn, the CJ2 

offers a longer range and a slightly larger cabin than its 

predecessor, the Citation II.

Departure airport, date and time 

Flying by private jet means freedom. Freedom 

to use one of the 70 private jet airports 

around the UK and freedom from long waits 

in the terminal. Departure dates and times are 

up to you. 

Travel Documentation 

We will provide you with a Travel Portfolio 

approximately two weeks before departure. 

This includes your flight route and timings, 

details of how to get to the UK Airport, some 

information about your aircraft, a map of your 

destination area and details of your hotel and 

transfer arrangements. 

UK Transfers 

Limousine: We will be happy to arrange for a 

limousine to pick you up from your home or 

office and take you to your chosen airport. 

Helicopter: Alternatively, we can arrange 

for a helicopter transfer from your home or 

a nearby site. We can suggest suitable sites 

and will agree landing rights. Please ask for a 

quotation for either option. 

Airport Parking 

Complimentary secure parking is available 

at most departure airports for the duration 

of your holiday. At the majority of airports, 

parking is only a short walk from the aircraft, 

effectively allowing you to drive to the plane.

Check-in and baggage 

One of the prime benefits of private jet travel 

is the lack of time-consuming departure 

procedures. There is no formal check-in and 

you can arrive as little as fifteen minutes 

before take-off. And, if you’re delayed on 

the way to the airport, your plane will wait 

for you! There are no specific baggage 

restrictions, though space is obviously limited 

and soft-sided luggage is preferable. Baggage 

space varies between aircraft and if you are 

planning to bring a large amount of baggage, 

please check beforehand that there will be 

sufficient space on your chosen aircraft. 

Immigration and Customs 

Our service includes pre-clearance with the 

immigration and customs authorities before 

you arrive. Your passport details will be 

requested upon booking. 

The flight crew 

All our jets have a crew of a Captain and First 

Officer who will introduce themselves when 

you arrive. Cabin staff are only available on 

larger aircraft. 

In-flight refreshments 

On board you will find chilled champagne, fine 

wine, soft drinks and the Jeffersons hamper. 

On your outbound flight the hamper includes 

gourmet canapés and caviar. 

In-flight entertainment 

Facilities vary between aircraft. Please check 

with us if you have any specific requests. 

Transfers abroad 

Return limousine transfers between your 

destination airport and hotel are included in 

all Jeffersons holidays. For certain destinations 

helicopter transfers can be arranged. 

Insurance 

We find that most of our clients already 

have appropriate insurance in place. 

Please check that your policy’s cancellation 

cover is sufficient. 

Guide Prices 

Prices for private aviation very much depend 

on the supply of, and demand for, aircraft 

on the dates of travel. Our Guide Prices are 

low-season, entry prices and are for indicative 

purposes only. We are always pleased to offer 

quotations based on precise dates of travel.

Booking conditions 

1. Your holiday contract 

When you make a booking you guarantee that you 

have the authority to accept on behalf of your party 

the terms of these conditions. A contract will exist 

as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. This 

contract is governed by English Law. 

2. Your financial protection 

We hold ATOL No 5769 issued by the Civil Aviation 

Authority which provides for your protection in the 

event of our insolvency. 

3. Your holiday price 

All holidays are offered subject to availability. The 

holiday price includes only the flight sectors, hotel and 

other services as are itemised on your confirmation 

invoice and none other. A deposit of 30% of the total 

holiday cost is payable on booking. The balance must 

be paid at least 8 weeks before your departure date 

We accept payment by cheque, bank transfer, 

Switch or credit card. For credit card transactions, 

we charge a 1.5% fee, or 2.7% for commercial cards. 

If the deposit and/or balance is not paid in time, we 

shall cancel your travel arrangements. If the balance 

is not paid in time we shall retain your deposit. The 

price of your travel arrangements was calculated using 

the following exchange rates €1.18, SwFr 1.50 and 

US$1.6 and is subject to surcharges for increases in 

transportation costs, government-imposed increases 

and currency changes. Even in these cases, we will 

absorb an amount equivalent to 2% of the price of 

your travel arrangements, which excludes insurance 

premium charges. Only amounts in excess of this 

2% will be surcharged. If this means that you have 

to pay more than 10% of the price of your travel 

arrangements, you may cancel and receive a full 

refund, except for insurance premiums paid to us. 

Should you decide to cancel for this reason, you must 

exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the 

issue date of your final invoice. 

Any monies paid by the client to a travel (or other) 

agent will be held by the agent on our behalf until 

such time as they are paid across to us. 

4. If you change your booking 

Requests for changes must be in writing from the 

person who made the booking. You will be asked to 

pay any further costs we incur if we are able to make 

the alteration. 

Note: Travel arrangements commencing near to the 

date of the change may not be changeable after a 

reservation has been made and any alteration request 

could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of 

that part of the arrangements. 

5. Late arrivals 

If you find you are running late please contact us as 

soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate 

late arrivals. However, unless we agree otherwise 

prior to the scheduled departure time, clients who 

fail to arrive at an airport within 2 hours of this time 

shall be deemed to have declared their non-use of 

the service and shall not be entitled to any refund or 

replacement service. 

6. If you cancel your holiday 

You, or any member of your party, may cancel your 

travel arrangements at any time. Written notification 

from the person who made the booking must be 

received at our offices. Since we incur costs in 

cancelling your travel arrangements, the following 

charges apply:

If one member of your party cancels this may mean 

that the accommodation or aircraft will be 

under-occupied and result in the remainder having 

to pay increased charges applicable to the revised 

number travelling. Should you decide to curtail your 

holiday for any reason, or decide not to use booked 

services, no refunds will be given. 

7. If we change or cancel your holiday 

It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to 

your travel arrangements. Occasionally however, we 

may have to make changes and we reserve the right 

to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be 

minor and no compensation will be payable. Examples 

of minor changes include alteration of your outward/ 

return flights by less than 6 hours or the change 

of accommodation to another hotel of the same 

standard in the same resort or the change of an 

airport for operational reasons or inclement weather. 

We also reserve the right in any circumstances to 

cancel your travel arrangements but will not do so 

within 2 weeks of departure, except for reasons 

of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final 

balance in cleared funds. If we are unable to provide 

the booked travel arrangements (e.g. because of 

bad weather), you can either have a refund of all 

monies paid or accept an offer of alternative travel 

arrangements of comparable standard from us, 

if available (we will refund any price difference if 

the alternative is of a lower value). Please note 

that the aircraft manufacturer or type referred to 

in the brochure may be subject to change. Such a 

change is deemed to be a minor change, provided 

the replacement aircraft is of a similar or superior 

standard. If we make a major change to your holiday, 

we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if 

there is time before your departure. Except where the 

cause of the major change is due to force majeure 

(see 11 below), you will have the choice of either 

accepting the change of arrangements, accepting 

an offer of alternatives (we will refund any price 

difference), or cancelling and receiving a full refund of 

all monies paid. In the unlikely event that one or more 

flight sectors of your journey become non operational 

for any reason and it is not possible to replace the 

aircraft with a similar private jet we reserve the right 

to provide you with scheduled airline transportation 

for that sector within the highest class available. We 

will refund the difference in price. 

8. If you have a complaint 

If you have a problem during your holiday, please 

inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier) 

immediately. If your complaint is not resolved 

locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your 

return home by writing to us. Disputes arising out 

of be referred to arbitration, if the client so wishes, 

with an independent arbitrator appointed by the 

Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 

9. Personal injury unconnected with your booked 

travel arrangements 

If you, or any member of your party, suffer death, 

illness or injury whilst overseas arising out of an 

activity which does not form part of your package 

travel arrangements or an excursion arranged 

through us, we shall at our discretion, offer advice 

and assistance. Where legal action is contemplated 

and you want our assistance, you must obtain our 

written consent prior to commencement of 

proceedings. Our consent will be given subject 

to you undertaking to assign any costs and benefits 

received under any relevant insurance policy or 

court award, up to the amount of the costs which 

we incurred, to ourselves. We limit the cost of 

our assistance to you or any member of your party 

to £5,000. 

10. Our liability to you 

(i) We accept responsibility for ensuring that your 

travel arrangements, which you book with us, are 

supplied as described in this brochure. If any part 

of your travel arrangements are not provided as 

promised, due to the fault of our employees, agents 

or suppliers, otherwise than by reason of force 

majeure, we will pay you appropriate compensation 

if this has affected the enjoyment of your travel 

arrangements. Subject to paragraph (iii) below our 

liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of 

200% of the costs of the relevant arrangements 

(ii) Force majeure means unusual or unforeseeable 

circumstances beyond our control or the control of 

our suppliers, the consequences of which neither we 

nor our suppliers could avoid even with all due care, 

including but not limited to epidemic, or outbreaks 

of illness, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial 

dispute, terrorist activity, or threat of it, natural 

or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, drought, technical 

problems to transport, machinery or equipment, 

power failure, changes imposed by air traffic control 

or governments, closure of an airport or adverse 

weather conditions. 

(iii) We accept responsibility for death, injury or 

illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions 

of our employees or agents, our suppliers and 

sub-contractors, whilst acting within the scope of, 

or in the course of their employment in the provision 

of your travel arrangements. We will accordingly pay 

to you such damages as might have been awarded in 

such circumstances under English Law. 

(iv) In respect of travel by air, sea and rail, and the 

provision of accommodation our liability will be 

limited in the manner provided by the relevant 

international convention. You can ask for copies of 

these international conventions from our offices.
