Sveriges Naturistförbund (SNF)The approximate total capacity at the naturist camps in Sweden is• 450 caravans, motor homes or large tents• 120 beds in cottages or houses (Galaxen hotel has some additional 42 beds)• 50 smaller tents. The naturist resorts are described in The Scandinavian Naturist Portal: www.naturistnet.orgWe have about 75 nude beaches that are either public/official or classified as frequently in use as "habitual nudebeaches". These are in detail described in The Scandinavian Naturist Portal: www.naturistnet.orgPublic RelationsWe have a good relation to the media. TV, radio and press often take contact to report about naturism, especiallyduring summer. We get a very good coverage of the naturist activities in the press.Scandinavian Naturist Cooperation. We have a good cooperation on federation level with our sister federations in Denmark and Norway. In cooperation with our two sister federations in Denmark and Norway we have developed a Scandinavian NaturistPortal: www.naturistnet.org The Scandinavian Naturist Portal covers everything that is related to organizednaturism in Scandinavia and also includes a guide to where to practice naturism in Scandinavia: all naturist resorts andnude beaches with maps and descriptions as far as we have any knowledge. The Naturist Guide part of the portal isin English and German (still under work) and in one of the Scandinavian languages depending on who has writtenwhat.Since new year 2007, DNU has chosen to have a separate Home Page. The information about Denmark and DanishNaturist Resorts have been reduced since then. The guide is today integrated with Google Earth and support downloading of GPS locations to Garmin navigators.SNF has a Home Page within The Scandinavian Naturist Portal http://www.naturistnet.org/sverigeThe Home Page is in Swedish and English. The Scandinavian Naturist Portal provides an extensive service to the clubs and support Club Home Pages withinthe Scandinavian Naturist Portal without any need of knowledge about computer programming and html and even freeof charge! The naturist federations in Norway and Sweden have since fall 2005 issued four editions of the common naturistmagazine NaturistNytt/Tillsammans per year. The Scandinavian Naturist Federations do their best to participate in each other's annual meetings in order to enhancemutual understanding and to discuss new ways of cooperation.INF.Our cooperation with INF is working well.Communication between INF and SNF have worked very well regarding stamps and economy. We feel that INF provides a strong support for our national strive to improve public opinion and acceptance ofnaturism. It is nice to be able to refer to a worldwide movement! We assume we can cooperate with INF in order toimprove the few shortcomings we have encounteredWe have done our best to get INF to fetch the latest and the most dependable information about Naturism, NaturistResorts and Nude Beaches in Scandinavia directly from The Scandinavian Naturist Portal on Internet. However,INF and Warlich prefers to stick to a manual labor intensive routine. Result: lots of work and too many errors.SNF has launched a motion to the INF 2008 Congress for a comprehensive new “INF Naturist Portal” that shouldinclude several of the features of the Scandinavian Naturist Portal but also a few new features. We believe that it iscritical for INF to develop, install and maintain such a new web solution. It will also be critical to update the databaseof this web solution with adequate and correct information about Naturist Resorts, Nude Beaches , Certified HolidayCenters, National Federations and their Clubs etc. and keep this information up-to-date at all times.Sveriges Naturistförbund (SNF) Page 2 7/15/2008Box 160SE-201 21 MALMÖ, Sweden
