4-H Shooting Sports ProgramsHundreds of thousands of young people annually participatein 4-H Shooting Sports Programs where they are taught theproper handling of airguns, small bore and black powderrifles, shotguns and archery equipment. Skills learned there may carry these youngshooters on to competitive programs at the local, stateand national level.Daisy Passport ProgramThe Daisy “Passport Program” offers the junior shooter an opportunity to receive recognition formarksmanship performance. Attractive awards are available to recognize a wide range of abilitiesfrom the beginning shooter right on through to advanced competitive shooting and can even leadto “Olympic Dreams.”Appealing awards not only reward a shooter’s current ability, but also offer an incentive to improveand reach for the “Gold.” Young people are taught to do their personal best, because everyone thatparticipates is a winner!Official Shooting AwardsIncentive is an important factor in the success of any educational program.
