ABOUT THE VINCENT FAIRFAX ETHICS IN LEADERSHIP FOUNDATIONSir Vincent Fairfax was an outstanding leader in Australianbusiness and the community. He was Chairman of theAMP Society, a director of the Bank of New South Walesand John Fairfax Limited. Sir Vincent had a strong sense ofpurpose and responsibility in the way he lived his life whichwas reflected in his work in business and on the land, hismany charitable and voluntary commitments, as well as infamily life. The Vincent Fairfax Fellowship was establishedin honour of Sir Vincent and his interest in encouraginggood leadership based in a sound ethical framework andhis belief that leadership not be left to chance but activelydeveloped. The Fellowship was conducted at the St JamesEthics <strong>Centre</strong> in Sydney <strong>for</strong> 15 years be<strong>for</strong>e being launchedat the <strong>Melbourne</strong> <strong>Business</strong> <strong>School</strong> in 2010.Sir Vincent FairfaxThe Vincent Fairfax Ethics in <strong>Leadership</strong> Foundation wasestablished with the particular aim of developing ethicalleadership in Australia.
