He has beenawarded with the Ph.D. degree on“Analysis of vacation and nonvacationqueues under Markovianarrival/service process” from theDepartment of Mathematics, Indian Institute ofTechnology, Kharagpur. Before joining NIST, heserved as Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School ofTechnology and Computer Science, Tata Institute ofFundamental Research, Mumbai, and INRIA(IRISA), Campus Universitaire De Beaulieu F-35042Rennes, Cedex, France. His research interests includeContinuous-time Queuing Theory and its applications.He has published more than 10 research articles inInternational Journals.Mr. Durga Prasad Dash joined as faculty in theDepartment of Electronics &Communication Engineering. He didhis B. E. from Institute of Engineers(India) and M. Tech. from MalnadCollege of Engineering, Hassan, underVisweswaray TechnologicalUniversity, Karnataka. He worked as HardwareEngineer at VXL eTech, Bangalore, and at MRO-Tech Ltd., Bangalore. He also served at SynopsysSoftware India Pvt. Ltd. as a senior member technicalstaff. His research interest lies in the areas of VLSIDesign (front end), and Digital System Design.Ms. Pragnya Parna Khamari joined as LaboratorySupervisor in the Department ofChemistry.
