MAD ® was originally founded by World Champion Turkey Caller 

Mark A. Drury in 1993. MAD is currently one of the fastest growing

Circe ® was founded in 1958, a joint venture of 2 Arizona predator 

callers. Circe is over 50 years old and still going strong, considered 

by most as their first and still favorite predator call. Circe 

started out as an all wooden call, the unique design and technology 

of a stepped down internal barrel resulted in considerably 

more decibels (volume) compared to other manufacturers. In 1964 the Circe Professional 

Model MVP-4, 3-in-1 was brought to the market, the only one of its kind allowing the caller 

to change from long range to medium range and close range perspectively with a simple 

twist of the call. 1970 saw Circe make the big switch to plastics where they still are today.

Feather Flex ® decoys were a pioneer in portable foam 

decoys and have been the standard that almost every 

other decoy company has copied. Brought to market in the 

1970s, Feather Flex decoys have found their way into the 

turkey vest of every notable turkey hunter in this country. Still the most popular and largest 

manufacturer of foam decoys, still produced in some of the original molds. Detailed paint 

jobs combined with sturdy memory retaining foam are still a standard, as well as new carvings

FLAMBEAU ® DECOYS HAVE CORRECT COLOR! 

Flambeau ® has formed an exclusive partnership with Twilight Labs, Inc. to utilize the patent pending 

UVision coating technology. UVision matches the reflectance of feathers in the full range of light 

visible to birds, including ultraviolet (UV). Flambeau decoys are now available with colors that look 

correct to the birds. 

Humans have 3 cones in their eyes and see the 3 primary sight colors. 

Humans see 3 primary colors. All color visible to humans are blends and combinations of these 

three colors. Deer and mammals see 2 primary colors (green and blue) and blends and combinations 

of the 2 colors. Blaze orange is worn by deer hunters because deer cannot distinguish this 

color from other woodland colors. 

Birds have 4 cones in their eyes and see the 3 primary sight colors and a 4th element–UV.

Birds see 4 primary colors. All color visible to birds are blends and combinations of these 

4 colors. Humans cannot see this 4th color (UV) as we do not have the 4th cone in our 

eyes. Birds see the same 3 colors as humans see, PLUS an additional color in the UV 

spectrum. 

Current decoy colors do not appear real to birds because all current decoy paint absorbs 

UV light while real bird feathers reflect UV light.

With UVision, each decoy color is perfectly matched 

to the proper level of UV reflectance of a real bird.

Waterfowl’s fourth cone provide them an advantage over hunters as they have learned to associate a “threat 

response” with incorrectly colored decoys. UVision is the first paint technology that exactly matches the UV reflectance, 

(invisible to humans), of decoys to real birds, so that incoming birds can no longer tell the difference between

1. The patent pending sound system is more realistic and representative of the true anatomy of a deer than any call ever invented...with the 

anatomy correct, the sound is correct. Perfect deep grunts, growls, pops and snort-wheezes become easy. 

2. The Hyper Ventilator Tube simulates the deer’s “nasal cavity.” The HV Tube relieves pressure/reduces air flow to the reed and thus 

the call cannot be “overblown” or “locked-up.” This feature allows the caller to supply more air (simulating the lungs of a much larger 

deer) and thus make a significantly louder call that travels longer distance and punches the wind more than any other call on the market. 

3. The HV Tube simulates the deer’s nasal cavity. The caller can put his hand over the end of the call and force all of the air through the 

HV Tube perfectly simulating the true snort-wheeze sound of a deer. The snort-wheeze sound can be quickly and easily added to a 

calling sequence without removing air supply from the call. 

4. Both HV Tube and rubber sound cone can be manipulated with the caller’s hand to change the back pressure and alter the sound 

much like the inflections in the natural deers’ tones. Additionally, either or both passages of the HV Tube (nasal cavity) can be 

plugged with the caller’s hand to add tonal inflections by altering the air flow.
