Multi is a dance theatre production that examines the tension between
the external demand and internal need for multitasking in modern
society, and the feasibility - or lack thereof - of this condition.
The production draws its originality from psychoneurophysiological studies and incorporates their
conclusions into the show itself. During the performance the dancers try to multitask movement, offering
fragments of different combinations linked to different studies, with varying degrees of difficulty,
reaching a complete breakdown of the cognitive ability to complete the tasks. Michal Hermon’s video art,
which draws inspiration from neurochemical imaging of the brain, is screened alongside the performance.
