APP is one of the world‚ largest vertically-integrated pulp 

and paper producers. Our combined pulp, paper and 

packaging capacity in Indonesia amounts to more

Tjiwi Kimia specializes in the production of quality 

paper, board, and carton boxes, along with converted 

paper products ranging from office stationery to 

giftwrap and fancy paper. Beginning its journey 

in 1972, Tjiwi Kimia has since grown into 

Indonesia's leading paper manufacturers, 

exporting its products to all around the world. 

On June 5 th 2012 APP released its Sustainability Roadmap: Vision 2020, which will guide APP operations to the year 2020 

and beyond. The Roadmap covers various aspects of APP operation, from raw material sourcing, to carbon footprinting and 

social engagement. 

As part of its regular progress update on Sustainability Roadmap, on February 5 th 2013, APP announced its Forest 

Conservation Policy, where it commits to an immediate end to all natural forest clearance throughout APP entire 

supply chain, and implementing High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) assessments. 

Looking ahead, the exciting prospects for APP, together with the other pulp and paper industry in Indonesia, is 

to play a leading role in the fight against climate change, protecting precious natural resources, developing 

our economy and continuing to alleviate poverty.
