Photo: © Royal Horticultural Society I am delighted to present Telling the Stories of England, a new programme of tours showcasing the very best of English heritage, culture and countryside. Supported by national tourism agency Visit England, these uniquely crafted, content-rich tours will intrigue and engage travellers who want to take home something more from their tour experience. On the following pages you will find sample itineraries from our programme, plus a full guide to the range of tours we can deliver for you. Our tours have been designed by the people who know England best. In this brochure, we focus on England’s Arts and Culture, History and Heritage and its great Houses and Gardens. Through collaborative partnerships, we also offer activity holidays and holidays to Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, giving the US travel agent a full UK cultural and countryside offer. Parks, 49 Country Houses, 25 Castles or Ancient Monuments, 27 Gardens, 12 Cathedrals, 45 Museums, 7 Major Libraries, 8 Art Galleries and 6 Historic Battlefields. We focus especially on the connections between the US and England, from the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims, to the lives of the American Heiresses who saved the English country house, the Kennedys in Britain and the lives of US Servicemen and women in England.
