behind the scene – has committed itself to provide the best services 

and making the holidays of our guests most interesting, smooth 

and pleasant. our coach drivers have many years of experience, unblemished 

safety records and regular training. All our Guided Coach Tours 

are accompanied by friendly, experienced and bilingual tour guides 

(english/ Spanish).

The hotels we choose for overnight stays are specially selected, charming 

and comfortable houses which belong to the best of their categories 

(mostly first class or excellently-appointed tourist superior class 

hotels). Air conditioning in German hotels is widespread but still not 

standard and therefore cannot be guaranteed. All rooms have private 

bath or shower/ WC. Most of the hotels offer a full breakfast buffet in the 

morning. Baggage handling (one piece per person) is provided.

All accommodations include breakfast. Further information about the 

meals included in the tour price you will find next to the tour description 

(please see 'Services Included'). In addition to that, the daily itinerary

Frankfurt – Würzburg – Rothenburg ob der Tauber (D) 

Depart from Frankfurt in the morning for a picturesque drive 

through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the 

river Main. enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Residence, 

a masterpiece of baroque architecture and UneSCo World 

Heritage Site. on the world famous Romantic Road we move on to 

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved ‘Jewel of the 

Middle Ages’. During a city walk, including a visit of St. Jacob’s 

Church with the Holy Blood Altar by Tilman Riemenschneider, you 

will experience the special flair of this unique town. leisure 

time before in the evening our welcome dinner with 

complimentary drink will be served at the hotel. Afterwards, 

join an unforgettable tour with the night Watchman. overnight 

at Hotel eisenhut or similar. 

D A Y 2 : M o n D A Y 

Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Augsburg – Munich (B) 

Today we continue our trip along the Romantic Road. See 

charming villages like Dinkelsbühl or nördlingen before we 

arrive at Augsburg. We continue to the Bavarian capital, Munich. 

An orientation tour, passing nymphenburg Castle and the olympic 

Grounds, will give you a first impression of this splendid city 

before we check-in at our hotel. In the afternoon we will leave for a 

walk which will take us at 05:00 pm to the ‘Glockenspiel’ (carillon) 

at Marienplatz. The evening is free for own activities. Would you 

like to have a look into the ‘Hofbräuhaus’ or to attend a concert or 

an opera? Please just ask your guide! overnight at Hotel

D A Y 3 : T U e S D A Y 

Munich – Garmisch-Partenkirchen – ettal – oberammergau 

– Füssen (B) 

Depending on the weather conditions on this day, drive to 

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, situated at the foot of our highest 

mountain ‘Zugspitze’ and one of the most important wintersport 

towns in Southern Germany, before going on to the Benedectine 

abbey of ettal and to oberammergau. The village is internationally 

famous for its Passion Play – generally performed every ten 

years – and for its numerous buildings with tromp l'oeil 

(lueftlmalerei) painted façades. on the way to our today’s destination, 

Füssen, we will make a short stop at the glorious rococo 

church in Wies. on sunny days, from there you can already see 

the fantastic Bavarian Alps. overnight at luitpoldpark-Hotel o.s. 

Rothenburg 

D A Y 4 : W e D n e S D A Y 

Füssen – Hohenschwangau – linderhof – Rottenbuch – Füssen (B) 

From Füssen it is only a short trip to Hohenschwangau and – 

located on the rugged hill above – the breathtaking fairytale 

castle of King ludwig II, neuschwanstein! After the guided visit we 

continue to linderhof on a scenic Alps tour through Austria. 

linderhof is the only palace ‘Mad King ludwig’ lived to see 

completed. In the later afternoon we arrive back to Füssen – not 

having missed to see another treasure of rococo architecture, the 

monastery church Rottenbuch. overnight at luitpoldpark-Hotel 

o.s. 

D A Y 5 : T H U R S D A Y 

Füssen – lindau – lake Constance (B) 

In the morning, after breakfast and check-out, we are heading to 

lake Constance which we will arrive at its north shore, located 

between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. enjoy a walking tour 

of the beautiful village lindau before we continue to Konstanz. 

The largest town at lake Constance with a lot of historical interest 

is located at Germany's border with Switzerland and also the 

birthplace of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, the famous airship 

pioneer. Afterwards, we check-in at our hotel in the nearby city 

Singen. overnight at Holiday Inn express o.s. 

D A Y 6 : F R I D A Y 

lake Constance – Black Forest – Freiburg – Heidelberg (B/ D) 

Today we enter the Black Forest, a region known not only for its 

delicious cake and the wooden cuckoo clocks but also for its 

spectacular landscapes. We will visit a clockmaker and, of course, 

you will have the possibility to taste the typical cake. enjoy a 

drive through the beautiful countryside towards the idyllic town of 

Freiburg. After a city tour we continue to Heidelberg, the oldest 

German university town where you will see the inner courtyard of 

the impressive castle, UneSCo World Heritage Site, and the wine 

cellar with its big barrel. In the evening, we will celebrate our 

good-bye to Romantic Germany with a great farewell dinner at 

famous Restaurant Zum Ritter St. Georg, built in the 16th century.

D A Y 7 : S A T U R D A Y 

Heidelberg – Rüdesheim – Frankfurt (B) 

We leave Heidelberg in the early morning to take you to the Upper 

Middle Rhine Valley, also declared UneSCo World Heritage Site and 

famous for its wines and vineyards. In Ruedesheim we board a 

steamer for a Rhine river cruise, passing fascinating 

castles, ruins and the legendary loreley Rock. Maybe, from the 

deck of the ship, you will see the blond maid combing her hair. 

our coach will awaits us in St. Goarshausen to bring us back to 

Frankfurt where our exciting journey ends with a small panoramic 

city tour of Germany’s financial capital at approx. 04:00 pm.

‘Highlights of Germany’ 


Frankfurt – eisenach – Weimar (D) 

Depart from Frankfurt in the morning and drive eastward 

to eisenach, dominated by the Wartburg Castle. Visit one 

of the most important buildings of German history and 

see the room where Martin luther in only eleven weeks 

translated the new Testament. Three hundred years 

before, St. elizabeth of Thuringia spent almost all her life 

at the Wartburg. Afterwards, we continue to a cultural 

treasure, Weimar, where numerous famous persons like 

Goethe, Schiller, liszt and Richard Strauss lived and 

worked. In the evening our welcome dinner will be served 

at our hotel. overnight at Hotel leonardo or similar. 


Weimar – Dresden (B) 

After the breakfast drive to Dresden, the capital of the 

Free State of Saxony. on a city tour you will get to 

know one of the loveliest cities of central europe. Due to 

its mild climate, the baroque architecture and the 

renowned museums, Dresden is also called ‘Florence of 

the elbe’. See the Semper opera House, the baroque 

Zwinger, the Green Vault and, overall, the restored 

Frauenkirche. nowadays, it is hard to believe that after 

the bombing in 1945 the city centre was completely 

destroyed. The rest of the day is free for own activities.

Dresden – Wittenberg – Potsdam – Berlin (B) 

Today we return to the traces of luther and visit 

Wittenberg where the reformation started on 31.10.1517 

when Martin, according to legend, nailed his 95 theses to 

the portal of the Castle Church. Afterwards, we depart 

towards Potsdam and the impressive courtyards of 

Sanssouci Palace, the former summer residence of 

Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. In the late afternoon 

we arrive at Berlin. overnight at Holiday Inn express City 

Centre o.s. 


Berlin (B) 

During a big city tour we will show you all the highlights 

of Germany’s capital and most exciting city. See 

Brandenburg Gate, our parliament Reichstag, the victory 

column, Palace Bellevue, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Memorial Church, 

Checkpoint Charlie, remains of the wall, boulevard Unter 

den linden and the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral). The 

afternoon is free for own activities like discovering the 

museums island or shopping in the numerous boutiques 

and department stores like KaDeWe. Take the opportunity 

to do an optional boat trip which gives you some 

memorable views from the channel Spree. Please just

Berlin – Hamburg (B) 

Today we are heading north. our next stop is Hamburg. 

enjoy all the main sights of this booming city like 

St. Michälis Church, called Michel, St. Pauli quarter, 

landungsbrücken, Speicherstadt and the brand-new 

HafenCity before discovering Germany’s largest port on 

a typical harbour cruise. The evening is free, maybe for 

a walk along the Reeperbahn? This amusement district 

originally was visited by sailors who were able to spend 

a whole six month pay in only one happy night. nowadays, 

of course, you can also see more ‘civilised’ areas.

Hamburg – Bremen – Hamelin (B/ D) 

After breakfast departure to Bremen, the free hanseatic 

city at river Weser with an old tradition of seafaring. 

See ‘Roland’ at the market square, the cathedral, the city 

hall and the bronze statue of Grimms’ Bremer 

Stadtmusikanten. Rub the donkey’s hooves and a wish 

comes true! After a walk through the narrow streets of 

Schnoor quarter with tiny houses, we turn onto the famous 

German Fairy Tale Route. In the afternoon we reach 

Hamelin, a city known for the Pied Piper, another legend 

appeared in the writings of the Brothers Grimm. Its former 

wealthy – due to its favourable location as trading centre 

on the river Weser – was reflected in its lavishly decorated 

houses. The delightful centre is a listed site of historical 

interest. After the check-in at the hotel, we will celebrate 

our farewell dinner. overnight at Mercure Hotel o.s. 

Bremen, ˝Bremer Stadtmusikanten˝ 


Hamelin – Frankfurt (B) 

Along the river Weser we follow the Fairy Tale Route 

towards the small and unique city of Hann.Münden. 

never destroyed, Hann.Münden belongs to the best 

preserved half-timbered places in Germany. enjoy this 

jewel of Weser Renaissance style before we continue our 

trip to Frankfurt. on the further way to the south we will 

make stops along the road, depending on the weather and 

traffic situation. In the afternoon we reach Frankfurt where 

a panoramic city tour of Germany’s financial capital awaits

Depart from Frankfurt in the morning and drive to 

Heidelberg for a walking tour of the oldest German university 

town, located at the river neckar and dominated by the 

impressive castle, UneSCo World Heritage Site. our next stop 

is one of the most prestigious and famous Spa resorts worldwide, 

Baden-Baden. enjoy a visit of the charming Christmas 

market before we enter the Black Forest, a region known not 

only for its delicious cake and the wooden cuckoo clocks but 

also for its spectacular landscapes. In the evening, our welcome 

dinner will be served at the hotel. overnight at Best

Triberg/ Black Forest – lake Constance – 

Hohenschwangau – Füssen (B) 

In the early morning, we are heading to the region Allgäu passing 

wonderful lake Constance. During the journey we will do 

several breaks, one of them at a real architectural treasure: 

the Basilica of Birnau with lake view. You will already see the 

fantastic Bavarian Alps before we arrive at Hohenschwangau. 

on the rugged hill above, the breathtaking fairytale castle of 

King ludwig II, neuschwanstein! After the guided tour we 

check-in at our hotel in nearby Füssen. overnight at Hotel

Füssen – oberammergau – ettal – Munich (B) 

After the breakfast we will take you to oberammergau. 

The village is internationally famous for its Passion Play – 

generally performed every ten years – and for its numerous

the further way to our today’s destination, the Bavarian capital, 

Munich, we will make short stops at the glorious rococo 

church in Wies and at the Benedectine abbey of ettal. In

city and finally we discover the romantic Christmas market. 

Free time to explore the numerous stalls with handcrafted 

Christmas gifts or local specialities. Taste the hot spiced wine

Würzburg 


Munich – Salzburg – Munich (B) 

Today enjoy our full day excursion to the native city of 

the world famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 

Salzburg in Austria. While walking through the old Town you 

will see its highlights such as Mozart’s birthplace, 

Getreidegasse and the cathedral. You will have enough time to 

spend on your own, just strolling around, visiting the lovely 

Christmas market and, of course, you should not miss the 

opportunity to taste the famous sweets made in Salzburg, 

Mozartkugeln. In the late afternoon we return to Munich.

Munich – Rothenburg ob der Tauber – nuremberg (B) 

After our breakfast and the check-out we head to 

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved ‘Jewel of 

the Middle Ages’. During a city walk, including a visit of St. 

Jacob’s Church with the Holy Blood Altar by Tilman 

Riemenschneider, you will experience the special flair of this 

unique town. enjoy the Christmas market or even step inside 

the incredible Christmas Store before we continue to 

Franconia’s biggest city, nuremberg. You might have heard 

about the local sausages called ‘nürnberger’ or the Christmas 

speciality of lebkuchen, gingerbread. overnight at Hotel Park

nuremberg (B/ D) 

Today we will see the ‘Christkindlesmarkt’ – probably the most 

famous Christmas market of the world – and all the main 

sights of the historic city like the former home of the artist 

Albrecht Dürer. At the end of our tour, join a visit of the medieval 

Kaiserburg Castle before the rest of the day is free for 

shopping or other activities. In the evening we will meet again 

for a nice Christmas dinner at one of the typical restaurants.

This morning we leave for Würzburg, on the banks of the river

D A Y 1 : W e D n e S D A Y / S U n D A Y 

Frankfurt – eisenach – Weimar – leipzig (D) 

Depart from Frankfurt in the morning and drive 

eastward to eisenach, dominated by the Wartburg Castle. 

Visit one of the most important buildings of German 

history and see the room where Martin luther in only 

eleven weeks translated the new Testament. Three 

hundred years before, St. elizabeth of Thuringia spent 

almost all her life at the Wartburg. Afterwards, we 

continue to a cultural treasure, Weimar, where numerous 

famous persons like Goethe, Schiller, liszt and Richard 

Strauss lived and worked. Afterwards we head to our 

today’s destination, leipzig, check-in at our hotel and visit 

one of Germany´s largest Christmas markets. The main 

attraction is located on the historical market square in 

front of the ancient town hall, a 25yard Christmas tree 

with thousands of lights. Stroll along the stalls with 

handcrafted Christmas gifts from the region. We invite 

you to an informal but very typical German snack with 

Bratwurst and the hot spiced wine called Glühwein.

D A Y 2 : T H U R S D A Y / M o n D A Y 

leipzig – Meissen – Dresden (B) 

After the breakfast we continue towards Meissen where 

we will visit one of Germany’s oldest porcelain 

manufactories. Founded in the 18th century and being 

continuously in operation since then, the delicate and 

always handcrafted products are found in royal courts and 

celebrities homes all around the world. See the exhibition 

hall and the demonstration workshops where all steps of 

the painting and glazing process are explained to you. 

Afterwards, we go on to Dresden, the capital of the Free 

State of Saxony. on a city tour you will get to know one of 

the loveliest cities of central europe. Due to its general 

mild climate, the baroque architecture and the renowned 

museums, Dresden is also called ‘Florence of the elbe’. 

See the main sights such as the Semper opera House, the 

baroque Zwinger and, overall, the restored Frauenkirche. 

nowadays, it is hard to believe that after the bombing in 

1945 the city centre was completely destroyed. After our 

tour we check-in at our hotel. In the evening we will visit 

the Christmas market called ‘Striezelmarkt’ – named after 

the local cake ‘Striezel’. Highlights are the big Christmas 

pyramid and the numerous stalls where you can taste the 

Striezel. overnight at Park Inn o.s. 

Leipzig 

D A Y 3 : F R I D A Y / T U e S D A Y 

Dresden – Annaberg – Schneeberg – Plauen (B/ D) 

Today we are heading mostly along country roads, via 

Seiffen, a centre of the wooden toy industry, to two ancient 

miner-villages, Schneeberg and Annaberg. These towns 

are typical for the erzgebirge (ore Mountains) and actually 

home of the German tradition of woodcarving and 

Christmas pyramids. In former times, light – represented 

by candles – was an important symbol of life and safety 

for the miners, working in the dark tunnels. 

The woodcarvers combined their deep religious beliefs and 

used candles to illuminate the pyramids, decorated with 

saints and symbols of the holy night. The Christmas 

market in Annaberg is dating back to 1510. Schneeberg 

hosts St. Wolfgang’s Church with an altar from 1539, 

carved by lucas Cranach the elder. In the afternoon 

we continue towards Plauen, famous for its handcrafted 

lace. Plauen was founded in 1122 and since the 16th 

century has been an important place for cotton 

manufacturing. our farewell dinner will be served at our 

hotel. overnight at Hotel Alexandra o.s. 

D A Y 4 : S A T U R D A Y / W e D n e S D A Y 

Plauen – Bamberg – Frankfurt (B) 

This morning we are travelling through the Franconian 

forest to the imperial city of Bamberg. Founded in the 

9th century, it has a nicely preserved old Town which was 

declared UneSCo World Heritage Site. We will see the 

cathedral and the former Benedictine abbey of 

Michaelsberg before, unfortunately, it is time for the last 

impressions of German Christmas markets. You will have 

sufficient time to do some last-minute shopping before 

we start our journey through the rolling hills of 

Franconia back to Frankfurt, our final destination which 

we will reach in the late afternoon.

After your arrival at Munich Airport a driver will welcome you 

and take you in a private limousine to the hotel where for the 

following six nights a room is already booked for you. Please

Munich (B/ D) 

At 09:30 am your tourguide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby 

to take you on an extensive city tour of Munich – the capital of 

the state of Bavaria. our first stop is at nymphenburg Palace. 

In former times, this baroque palace was seat of the Bavarian 

monarchs. Afterwards, you will see the Residence, splendid 

Maximilian- and leopoldstreet, the opera, the olympic 

Grounds, Marienplatz with City Hall and its famous ‘Glockenspiel’ 

(carillon), St. Peter’s Church, the Viktualien-Market 

and much more. And, of course, you will have the afternoon to 

stroll around the romantic Munich Christmas market. 

In the evening, our welcome dinner will take place in a typical 

restaurant. 


Munich – oberammergau – Hohenschwangau – Munich (B/ l) 

After the breakfast we start heading south, towards oberammergau. 

The village is internationally famous for its

castle of King ludwig II. It was ranked no. 8 when millions of 

people decided on the ‘new seven world wonders’ and was 

model for Walt Disney’s Cinderella castle. In the late afternoon 

we return to our hotel in Munich. 


Munich – nuremberg – Regensburg – Munich (B) 

In the morning we leave Munich to go north, to the city of 

nuremberg. This Franconian metropolis has a very special flair 

which you will experience during an orientative city tour. You 

will see the former ‘Reichsparteitagsgelände’ (Party Rallye 

Grounds), Court Room 600 where the famous nuremberg trials 

were held, the beautiful old Town with preserved city wall and 

gates, the Hauptmarkt, the Imperial Castle (Kaiserburg) and

Salzburg 

much more. nuremberg and the Franconian region are also 

famous for its special grilled sausages, so called ‘nürnberger 

Rostbratwürste’, which you have to try before you have time 

on your own to visit the ‘Christkindlesmarkt’ – probably the 

most famous Christmas market of the world. on the way back 

to Munich we will make a short stop in the city of Regensburg 

where at the castle of the aristocratical family of Thurn and 

Taxis (who invented the modern post delivery system) a 

unique, little Christmas market awaits you. Return to Munich 

in the evening. 



Today we leave Germany going to the native city of the world

After breakfast we will take you to another highlight of this 

tour, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved 

‘Jewel of the Middle Ages’. During a city walk, including a visit

Riemenschneider, you will experience the special flair of this 

unique town. Afterwards, enjoy the charming Christmas 

market! Going back to Munich we will do a stop in Augsburg 

where your guide will give you an impression of the town 

which in former times was dominated by the Fugger trader 

dynasty. In the evening our farewell dinner will be served at 

the Ratskeller, a typical restaurant located in the basement 

of Munich City Hall.

After your arrival at Frankfurt Airport your personal driver-guide

wishes. In the late afternoon you will meet again to start with a 

small city tour of Frankfurt, Germany’s financial capital. At a charming

D A Y 2 : 

Frankfurt – Heidelberg – Trier (B/ l) 

After the breakfast you will leave for Heidelberg, the oldest 

German university town where the guide will show you the inner 

courtyard of the impressive castle, UneSCo World Heritage Site, 

and the wine cellar with its big barrel. The welcome lunch with an 

excellent local wine will be served at famous Restaurant Zum 

Ritter St. Georg, built in the 16th century. In the early afternoon 

drive to Trier, Germany’s oldest city, located at the river Moselle. 

According to legend, in 2000 BC the Assyrians established a 

colony here. The Roman settlement of Augusta Treverorum was 

founded under Augustus in 16 BC. Trier became a favoured residence 

of several Roman emperors. overnight at Hotel Golden Tulip

D A Y 3 : 

Trier – Cologne (B) 

In the morning enjoy a city walk of Trier. The face of the city is 

impressively shaped by the Roman era. The most famous relic 

is the Porta nigra, the beautifully-preserved fortified gate from 

the great age but many other major stylistic epochs have also 

left behind their monuments. Quite justifiable, the city has been 

declared a treasure of world civilization by UneSCo. In addition 

to that, Trier is Germany's oldest wine-growing centre. Famous 

vineyard estates and celebrated wine producers are 

headquartered here. So it also pays to become acquainted with 

the subterranean realm of the Trier sommeliers! leave for a 

scenic route along the Moselle with a wine tasting in one of the 

charming villages. Go on to Cologne where you will arrive in 

the early evening. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore 

some local breweries where the ‘Kölsch’ (light beer served in small 

glasses) can be sampled. overnight at Maritim Hotel o.s. 

D A Y 4 : 

Cologne (B) 

Today you will visit Cologne. Starting at the cathedral which is one 

of the largest gothic churches in europe the city tour will lead you 

through the small alleys of the old Town and splendid avenues to 

the river Rhine with its bridges and parks. Should you be a 

sweet-lover, your guide will plan a visit of the Chocolate Museum 

where you can learn all about chocolate and sample from the 

large chocolate fountain as much as you can. Take your time in the 

afternoon to discover Cologne on your own. overnight at Maritim

D A Y 5 : 

Cologne – Koblenz – Rüdesheim (B/ D) 

After breakfast you leave for Koblenz where the Moselle meets the 

Rhine. In the early afternoon board a steamer for a Rhine river 

cruise from St. Goar to Rüdesheim, passing fascinating castles, 

ruins and the legendary loreley Rock. Maybe, from the deck of the 

ship, you will see the blond maid combing her hair. 

Your driver-guide awaits you upon arrival at Rüdesheim and take 

you to a tasting of Rhine wines. In the evening, unfortunately, it is 

already time to celebrate a great farewell dinner at Restaurant

Rüdesheim – Mainz – Frankfurt (B) 

From Rüdesheim it is only a 45 minutes drive to Mainz, the 

capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. You will visit the historic centre, 

the dominating cathedral and the Museum of Gutenberg – the 

inventor of the printing press – before you reach Frankfurt in 

the afternoon where your tour ends at the airport or with your 

check-in to the optionally booked post tour hotel.

Stuttgart, Mercedes-Benz Museum 

D A Y 1 : 

Frankfurt 

After your arrival at Frankfurt Airport your personal driver-guide 

will welcome you and take you to your hotel in a private limousine 

(or minivan). During the transfer the guide will already give you 

some first information about the next days and ask for personal 

wishes. In the late afternoon you will meet again to start with a 

small city tour of Frankfurt, formerly coronation city of the 

German emperors, nowadays the modern european banking 

center and Germany’s financial capital. At a charming place, enjoy 

your welcome drink – a local speciality. overnight at le Méridien 

Parkhotel or similar 

D A Y 2 : 

Frankfurt – Goslar (B/ D) 

Drive with lunch-stop on the highway to the beautiful historical 

city of Goslar. After the check-in at the hotel experience a city walk 

through the old Town, UneSCo World Heritage Site. The former Free 

Imperial Town of Goslar has an over-1000-year history. The spires 

of the 47 churches, chapels and monasteries delineated the 

unique silhouette. It was referred to as the ‘Rome of the north’. 

The many crooked, narrow, cobble-stoned streets in the old Town 

are an adventure of their own where each house tells its own story 

and secret nooks and crannies await discovery. In the evening 

the welcome dinner will be served at the hotel. ovenight at Hotel

D A Y 3 : 

Goslar – Wolfsburg – leipzig (B) 

Today you leave for the ‘Autostadt Wolfsburg’ – home of VW Group 

(Volkswagen). The Autostadt invites its visitors to journey into the 

world of mobility. An exhibition of the definitive car classics allows 

a view into the past, artworks and films stimulate discussions, 

interactive research stations offer opportunities for 

experimentation – art-lovers as well as high-tech enthusiasts and 

‘simply’ tourists passing by will find themselves at home and 

surely surprised. In the late afternoon you continue to leipzig. 

overnight at Ramada City Centre o.s. 

D A Y 4 : 

leipzig – nuremberg (B) 

After the breakfast you will visit the city centre of leipzig 

including the famous Bach Monument in front of St. Thomas’ 

Church. Afterwards, depart to the historical nuremberg with lunchstop 

on the highway. enjoy a small orientation city tour in the 

unique medieval centre and see the most interesting sights. 

Stop at the former ‘Reichsparteitagsgelände’ and places like 

gingerbread bakeries and Bratwurst stands. overnight at DeRAG

D A Y 5 : 

nuremberg – Munich (B) 

In the morning your guide will take you to the DB Museum 

(Deutsche Bahn), opened in 1899 as Royal Bavarian Railway 

Museum. exhibits include about 40 historical rail vehicles, among 

them the legendary ‘Adler’ (eagle) locomotive. The museum’s 

main attraction is the ‘experience Area’ of 1000 square metres. 

In the afternoon, you will continue independently your railexperience 

by taking an ICe high-speed train from nuremberg to 

Munich. Your driver-guide already awaits you at the main station 

to give you a short orientation city tour ending at the hotel.

D A Y 6 : 

Munich – Stuttgart (B) 

Today you will get impressed by BMW Welt next to olympic Park. 

After the visit of BMW you will continue with a city tour of Munich 

with sufficient free time for shopping and lunch. In the early 

afternoon you go on to Stuttgart. The state capital of Baden- 

Württemberg delights tourists not only by virtue of its magnificent 

panorama, its impressive gardens, splendid palaces and 

buildings but also by its cultural diversity. overnight at Hilton

D A Y 7 : 

Stuttgart – Heidelberg (B) 

This morning you first will enter into the sensational world of 

Mercedes-Benz. on a total area of approx. 17,000 square metres, 

the Mercedes-Benz Museum shows around 160 vehicles on permanent 

display including not only the earliest models but also the 

latest series production vehicles. Afterwards, we will continue to 

another spectacular museum – by Porsche, showing more than 

80 serial vehicles, prototypes and racing cars. enjoy the rest of 

the day in Stuttgart on your own. The driver-guide will meet you in 

the late afternoon to move on towards Heidelberg. overnight at 

Best Western Palatin Kongresshotel Wiesloch o.s. 

D A Y 8 : 

Heidelberg – Frankfurt (B/ l) 

After your breakfast, city tour of Heidelberg including a visit of the 

inner courtyard of the impressive castle, UneSCo World Heritage 

Site, and its wine cellar with the big barrel. Afterwards, you have 

time for shopping or just enjoy the ambiance of this charming 

university town. Unfortunately, it is already time to celebrate a 

great farewell lunch at famous Restaurant Zum Ritter St. Georg. In 

the early afternoon we will return to Frankfurt where your tour 

ends at approx. 5:00 pm.

Please read carefully the general information 

that follow. They limit our liability and that of the 

associate companies providing services 

purchased. They outline the terms and 

conditions under which Touring Tours & Travel 

will operate. Acceptance of booking confirmation 

of any item of this program represents acceptance 

of the terms and conditions as follows: 

R e S e R V A T I o n S A n D C o n F I R M A T I o n S 

Reservations have to be made in writing and are 

subject to availability. After a reservation has 

been made Touring Tours & Travel will provide a 

confirmation that will as well be sent in writing. 

If the requested service is not available, Touring 

Tours & Travel will undertake all efforts to 

provide a suitable alternative. The client has 

between 7-21 days to meet the deposit 

requirements. Failure to meet the deposit 

requirements can result in release of the 

reservation space. Reconfirming of space released 

is subject to new check of availability. 

D e P o S I T A n D P A Y M e n T S 

A deposit of 25% of the tour price may be 

required within 21 days of confirmation. 

Final payment is due at the latest 14 days prior 

to the beginning of services (unless otherwise 

specified). 

Regarding payment, there are two options: 

1) Payment by transfer:

payment: 2,5% for Visa & Mastercard, 3% for 

American express. We charge the card at the 

latest 14 days prior to the beginning of services 

(unless otherwise specified) and send the credit 

card receipt by email. 

R e V I S I o n S 

Revisions of bookings are subject to a fee 

of eURo 30.- per booking (except for simple 

additions). 

C A n C e l l A T I o n P o l I C Y 

Cancellation has to be made in writing and is 

only valid with a written cancellation 

confirmation by Touring Tours & Travel. 

Cancellation fees will apply as follows: 

Guided Tours / Independent Tours: 

Up to 45 days prior to departure, all funds paid 

will be refunded in full, less an administrative 

charge of eURo 30. - per person. Additional 

cancellation charges are to be paid if cancellation 

is received 

- 45 to 30 days prior to departure: 10% min. 

eURo 30.- 

- 29 to 15 days prior to departure: 25% 

- 14 to 3 days prior to departure: 50% 

- later than 3 days: 100% of the land tour 

price. 

- no refunds for no-shows and no refunds 

for unused portions during the course of 

the tour. 

City Breaks: 

If cancellation in writing is received by the 

Touring Tours & Travel up to 15 days prior to 

departure, all funds paid will be refunded in full, 

less an administrative charge of eURo 30.- per 

booking. Additional cancellation charges are to 

be paid if cancellation is received 

- 14 to 7 days prior to arrival: 25% 

- 6 to 3 days prior to arrival: 50% 

- later than 3 days prior to arrival: 100% of the 

package price. 

- no refunds for no-shows and no refunds for 

unused portions of the package. 

C H I l D R e D U C T I o n 

Until the age of 11 inclusive: 30% discount 

on p.p. dbl-room rate, when sharing room with 

two adults in extra bed. 

P A S S P o R T S A n D V I S A 

Before concluding the travel contract, the travel 

agent points the passenger to current passport 

and visa requirements. each passenger is 

responsible on his own for obtaining the papers 

and documents needed for the destinations that 

will be visited. In case of difficulties caused by 

flouting terms of visa, the passenger has no right 

to withdraw from the travel contract; the 

cancellation terms mentioned above are to apply. 

I n S U R A n C e I S R e C o M M e n D e D 

The operator is not responsible or liable for loss, 

damage or theft of luggage and/or personal 

belongings, or for personal injury, accident, 

and/or illness. Please check with your Travel 

Agent or 

Insurance Agent for additional insurance to cover 

all risks concerned for the duration of your trip. 

l I M I T A T I o n S o F l I A B I l I T Y 

Touring Tours & Travel ’s (operator for all bookings 

out of this brochure) contractual liability for 

damages which are not bodily harms is limited by 

three times the amount of the travelling fare if 

the damages are not caused with intent or by 

committing an act of culpable negligence or if the 

operator is obliged to compensate a damage with 

respect to the passengers only because of an 

administering body’s fault. The legal liability 

according to § 23 PBefG amounts to 

eURo 1,000.- at most for damages to the 

passenger’s property which are not caused 

with intend or by committing an act of culpable 

negligence. 

T e R M I n A T I o n F o R R e A S o n S o F 

F o R C e M A J e U R e 

In case of relevant impediments, endangerings or 

impairments caused by unforeseeable 

circumstances as war impacts, political or social 

unrest, epidemics, administrative or judicial 

orders (e.g. prohibition of crossing the border), 

natural disasters, destroying of accommodations 

or similar occurrences both parties are entitled to 

terminate the contract in compliance with these 

contractual terms. After a passenger’s 

termination the operator can demand 

reimbursement for services that have already 

been performed according to § 471 of the 

German BGB. 

Deviations from the services stipulated in the 

contract Changes concerning the services 

booked by the passenger that become necessary 

after the conclusion of the contract and are not 

contrary to good faith can be performed by the 

operator if the travel’s general shape is not 

reduced considerably; the passenger must be 

informed by the operator immediately after 

having got positive knowledge of the admissible 

deviations. Facing a change of an essential 

feature of the booked travel, the passenger is 

entitled to cancel the contract. 

D I S R U P T I o n B Y P A S S e n G e R S 

The operator is entitled to terminate the contract 

without notice if a passenger disrupts the 

travel despite warnings of the bus crew in such 

a way that the other passengers can’t be 

expected to continue the travel or if a passenger 

refuses to follow objective advises resp. orders of 

the bus crew. In this case, the operator has 

the right to demand the whole fare unless 

the disturbing passenger’s seat can be allocated 

to another person so that an economic 

disadvantage does not occur.

Although no changes in hotels are 

anticipated, Touring Tours & Travel reserves 

the right to change hotels without notice 

where deemed necessary or advisable. 

Substitutes will be equal of standard. 

- luggage handling of one piece of normal 

size luggage included (further pieces on 

request). Porter service is provided in most 

of the hotels throughout the tours. 

- Meals provided are outlined in the separate 

tour itineraries. Continental or full buffet 

breakfasts at the hotels throughout the 

tour. 

- Itinerary: If unforeseen conditions beyond 

the control of Touring Tours & Travel GmbH 

and/or their suppliers so require, the tour 

operator reserves the right to make changes 

in the itinerary, timetable and 

activities. 

not Included: 

- Air Transportation or any means of 

transportation to connect with the tours. 

- Transfers: Arrival transfer on the first day of 

the tour and departure transfer on the last 

day of the tour are not included. Passengers 

are asked to join the tour at the listed 

departure points. (See page 6.) 

- Personal expenses such as, but not limited 

to, phone calls, mini bar charges, additional 

food orders, wines, mineral waters, 

room service, valet/ laundry service, and 

any other items of personal nature not 

specifically mentioned as being included. 

- The traditional end-of-trip-gratuity to your 

tour guide and your driver is not included 

and remains optional at your discretion. 

All necessary tipping to luggage porters, 

bellmen, doormen, dining room waiters, 

local guides and all others rendering services 

for the included features of the tour.
