BELOW, IF ANY ENTRANT IS FOUND TO BE INELIGIBLE OR IS DISQUALIFIED AT ANY STAGE OF THE<br />
TOURNAMENT, HIS/HER TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT MOVE FORWARD TO THE NEXT ROUND OF<br />
THE TOURNAMENT AND IF APPLICABLE, ALL TEAM MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO RETURN ANY PRIZES THAT<br />
MAY BE AWARDED.<br />
ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE A PLAYSTATION ® PLUS ACCOUNT TO PARTICIPATE AND THERE IS A COST<br />
ASSOCIATED WITH MAINTAINING SUCH AN ACCOUNT.<br />

• By entering <strong>and</strong> participating in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, each Entrant, as defined below, unconditionally accepts <strong>and</strong><br />
agrees to comply with <strong>and</strong> abide by <strong>the</strong>se <strong>Official</strong> <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong> (<strong>the</strong> "Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>"). All decisions<br />
regarding <strong>the</strong> interpretation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong> lie solely with <strong>the</strong> Administrator, <strong>the</strong> decisions <strong>of</strong> which are<br />
final <strong>and</strong> binding in all respects.<br />
• All dates, times, locations, <strong>and</strong> format are subject to change. In <strong>the</strong> event that <strong>the</strong>re is a change to <strong>the</strong> date/time or<br />
location/format <strong>of</strong> an event, Administrator will use reasonable efforts to notify all Entrants (as defined below) at<br />
least 72 hours prior to <strong>the</strong> event date.<br />
• Any Entrant with a disability that requires accommodation to play at a Regional Qualifier <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>the</strong> National Finals<br />
must contact <strong>the</strong> Administrator at accessible@cineplex.com with “Canadian Championships – Accommodation<br />
Request” in <strong>the</strong> subject line at least two (2) weeks prior to <strong>the</strong> event date. Administrator will work with you to<br />
arrange for a suitable accommodation.<br />
2. ADMINISTRATOR<br />
• WorldGaming Network LP, 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4T 2Y9, is solely responsible for conducting <strong>and</strong><br />
administrating <strong>the</strong> Tournament (“Administrator”).<br />
3. ELIGIBILITY<br />
• In order to participate eligible individuals (each an “Entrant”, or collectively, “Entrants”) must be a member <strong>of</strong> a team<br />
<strong>of</strong> four (4) Entrants (a “Team”, or collectively “Teams”), as ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> “Team Captain” or “Team Participant”, (each a<br />
“Team Member” or collectively, Team Members”). A team <strong>of</strong> three (3) or fewer Team Members will not be eligible to<br />
participate at any Stage <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament. Each Entrant is only permitted to be a member <strong>of</strong> one (1) Team that<br />
qualifies for <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs.<br />
• The Tournament is open to legal Canadian Residents, who reside in Canada during <strong>the</strong> duration <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament<br />
schedule. Entrants must be eighteen (18) years <strong>of</strong> age or older before participating. In certain provinces, <strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong><br />
majority is 19. If you are 18 <strong>and</strong> live in a province where <strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong> majority is 19 (a “Minor”), you must have
permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate. If it is determined that an Entrant is under <strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong> 18<br />
<strong>the</strong> entire Team will be disqualified <strong>and</strong> will not be permitted to continue in <strong>the</strong> Tournament.<br />
• Team Captains who wish to participate in <strong>the</strong> Online Qualifiers must have a WorldGaming account <strong>and</strong> agree to <strong>the</strong><br />
Terms <strong>and</strong> Conditions found at http://worldgaming.com/terms-<strong>and</strong>-conditions. There are no fees or service charges<br />
to create or maintain an account. The WorldGaming account creation form is age-gated to prevent anyone under<br />
<strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong> 18 from creating an account. If an Entrant attempts to bypass <strong>the</strong> age gate by entering a false date <strong>of</strong><br />
birth that Entrant, <strong>and</strong> his/her Team, will be disqualified.<br />
• Each Team Member must have: a PlayStation ® 4 system; a PS4 copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>Call</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Duty</strong> ® : Infinite Warfare (<strong>the</strong><br />
“Game”); <strong>and</strong> an active PlayStation ® Plus paid membership in order to enter <strong>the</strong> Tournament. There is a cost<br />
associated with maintaining a PlayStation ® Plus account. Entrants should note that <strong>the</strong> Game will be played on a<br />
PlayStation ® 4 during <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers <strong>and</strong> National Finals.<br />
• Employees, <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>and</strong> directors <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator, Cineplex Entertainment LP (“Cineplex”), Intertaintech Inc.,<br />
WG Limited (Intertaintech Inc. <strong>and</strong> WG Limited are collectively referred to as “WorldGaming”) <strong>and</strong> any Tournament<br />
sponsors including but not limited to Sony Computer Entertainment Canada Inc. (“SCEC”) (collectively referred to<br />
as “Tournament Sponsors”) <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective parents, affiliated <strong>and</strong> subsidiary entities <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> immediate family<br />
(spouse, parent, sibling, child) or members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir same households (whe<strong>the</strong>r related or not) <strong>of</strong> such employees,<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficers or directors are not eligible to participate in <strong>the</strong> Tournament.<br />
• As set out in Section 11 below, all Entrants that participate in <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers <strong>and</strong>/or qualify for <strong>the</strong> National<br />
Finals will be required to sign a declaration <strong>and</strong> release confirming his or her underst<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>of</strong>, compliance with,<br />
<strong>and</strong> acceptance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>Rules</strong> with a st<strong>and</strong>ard release <strong>of</strong> all liability (<strong>the</strong> “Declaration”) before being<br />
permitted to participate. If <strong>the</strong> Entrant is a Minor, his/her parent/legal guardian must sign <strong>the</strong> Declaration on <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
behalf before being allowed to participate. If <strong>the</strong> parent or legal guardian does not consent to signing <strong>the</strong><br />
Declaration, <strong>the</strong> Entrant will not be permitted to participate.<br />
• The Administrator shall have <strong>the</strong> right at any time to require pro<strong>of</strong>, to its sole satisfaction, <strong>of</strong> identity, date <strong>of</strong> birth<br />
<strong>and</strong>/or residency to show eligibility to participate in <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>and</strong> to deny any Entrant or Team from playing<br />
or from being awarded any prize in <strong>the</strong> event that it is determined that one or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Entrants does not meet<br />
<strong>the</strong> eligibility criteria herein.<br />
• The Tournament is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial <strong>and</strong> local laws <strong>and</strong> regulations <strong>and</strong> is VOID<br />
WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.<br />
4. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE<br />
STAGE ONE: OPEN QUALIFIERS<br />
Registration for <strong>the</strong> Open Qualifiers will begin on January 10, 2017. Eligible Teams may qualify for <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs<br />
by entering <strong>the</strong> Online Qualifiers <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers as per below.<br />
ONLINE QUALIFIERS<br />
• How to Enter:<br />
o The Online Qualifiers will consist <strong>of</strong> ten (10) online tournaments open to up to 64 Teams each, to be held<br />
on:<br />
• Saturday January 28 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Sunday January 29 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Saturday February 4 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Sunday February 5 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Wednesday February 8 at 5:00 PM EST<br />
• Saturday February 11 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Sunday February 12 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Wednesday February 15 at 5:00 PM EST<br />
• Saturday February 18 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
• Sunday February 19 at 1:00 PM EST<br />
o A Team may participate in <strong>the</strong> Online Qualifiers by designating a Team Captain, having said Team<br />
Captain navigate to http://worldgaming.com/cineplex (<strong>the</strong> “Website”) during <strong>the</strong> Registration Period <strong>and</strong><br />
click <strong>the</strong> “Register to Play Online” button, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>n select <strong>the</strong>ir preferred date from <strong>the</strong> options presented.<br />
Available spots are assigned on a first come, first served basis.<br />
• The Team Captain will be required to login to <strong>the</strong>ir WorldGaming account prior to being able to<br />
register for <strong>the</strong> selected tournament.
o<br />
o<br />
During registration, <strong>the</strong> Team Captain must provide a Team Name <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> PlayStation ® IDs (“PSN IDs”)<br />
for all remaining Team Members. Only Entrants whose PSN IDs match those registered by <strong>the</strong> Team<br />
Captain are eligible to play in <strong>the</strong> Tournament. Any Team playing at any stage <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament, with a<br />
Team Member whose PSN ID does not match any <strong>of</strong> those registered by <strong>the</strong> Team Captain, will be<br />
disqualified <strong>and</strong> will not be eligible to continue in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, or if applicable, receive a prize. Each<br />
Entrant permits <strong>the</strong> Administrator to verify that his/her name is registered to <strong>the</strong> PSN ID used to enter <strong>the</strong><br />
Tournament. In <strong>the</strong> event Administrator is unable to conclusively verify that <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong> an Entrant<br />
matches <strong>the</strong> PSN ID used to enter <strong>the</strong> Tournament, that Entrant, <strong>and</strong> his/her Team, will be disqualified.<br />
A Team may enter into more than one (1) online Tournament, provided space is available.<br />
• How to Play:<br />
o The Online Qualifiers are open to all eligible Teams. Team seeding is generated sequentially based on<br />
time <strong>of</strong> entry. Teams will only be playing against o<strong>the</strong>r Teams that have registered for <strong>the</strong> same online<br />
tournament. All online tournaments will begin at <strong>the</strong> designated start time regardless <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong><br />
registered Teams. If a tournament does not fill to maximum capacity by <strong>the</strong> designated start time it will still<br />
play out in full <strong>and</strong> all Teams up to that point will be able to compete. Any Team without an opponent in a<br />
tournament round will receive a “bye” to <strong>the</strong> next round, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
o Each online tournament entered into has a pre-determined start time which can be found by viewing <strong>the</strong><br />
tournament under <strong>the</strong> “My Tournaments” tab <strong>of</strong> a Team Captain’s personal WorldGaming account.<br />
o All Matches are automatically generated on http://worldgaming.com/ on <strong>the</strong> day <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> online tournament<br />
under <strong>the</strong> “Today’s Challenges” tab <strong>of</strong> a Team Captain’s personal WorldGaming account. The Team<br />
Captain must check-in to each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir Matches on <strong>the</strong> WorldGaming website at <strong>the</strong> scheduled start time.<br />
Teams must <strong>the</strong>n play <strong>the</strong>ir opponent over <strong>the</strong> PlayStation ® Network using <strong>the</strong>ir owned copies <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Game, with each Team Captain reporting <strong>the</strong> results on <strong>the</strong> WorldGaming website afterwards under <strong>the</strong><br />
“Today’s Challenges” tab.<br />
o Match Hosting, Side Choice, <strong>and</strong> Disconnections:<br />
• The Team Captain <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team that appears on top in <strong>the</strong> bracket, when viewed through <strong>the</strong> ‘My<br />
Tournaments’ tab on <strong>the</strong> WorldGaming website, is responsible for creating <strong>and</strong> hosting <strong>the</strong> first<br />
Game, <strong>and</strong> if necessary <strong>the</strong> third Game, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team Captain <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team that appears on <strong>the</strong><br />
bottom in <strong>the</strong> bracket must host <strong>the</strong> second Game, <strong>and</strong> if necessary <strong>the</strong> Tiebreaker Game. Team<br />
Captains must invite all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir Team Members, as well as <strong>the</strong> opposing Team Captain, for all<br />
Games. The opposing Team Captain is responsible for inviting all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective Team<br />
Members.<br />
• The Team that does not host must choose a side to play on (UNSA or SDF).<br />
• The hosting Team is responsible for ensuring that all maps, modes, <strong>and</strong> settings are correct. Any<br />
Game started with <strong>the</strong> wrong settings may result in a forfeit for <strong>the</strong> hosting Team.<br />
• A Game must be restarted if <strong>the</strong> Host or a Team Member disconnects in <strong>the</strong> first 30 seconds<br />
AND before <strong>the</strong> first kill. If a Team Member disconnects from a Game after <strong>the</strong> first 30 seconds or<br />
after <strong>the</strong> first kill, <strong>the</strong> Game must continue <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team Member must rejoin <strong>the</strong> Game as soon<br />
as possible. If <strong>the</strong> Host disconnects from <strong>the</strong> Game or incorrectly ends <strong>the</strong> Game after <strong>the</strong> first 30<br />
seconds or after <strong>the</strong> first kill, <strong>the</strong> hosting Team will forfeit <strong>the</strong> Game.<br />
• If ei<strong>the</strong>r Team invites a Player/Spectator to a Game that is not a registered member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir Team<br />
<strong>the</strong>y may forfeit that Game, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
• A 5 minute grace period between Games is permitted to allow <strong>the</strong> new Host to setup.<br />
o Teams are required to take appropriate in-game screenshots that display <strong>the</strong> final results <strong>of</strong> each Game,<br />
<strong>and</strong> should be prepared to provide <strong>the</strong>m immediately at <strong>the</strong> request <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator. Failing to do so,<br />
or providing false information, may result in immediate disqualification, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator.<br />
o If nei<strong>the</strong>r Team Captain checks in to <strong>the</strong>ir Match <strong>and</strong>/or if a Match is not played <strong>and</strong> nei<strong>the</strong>r Team submits<br />
a Ticket requesting <strong>the</strong> forfeit win, both Teams will forfeit <strong>the</strong> Match <strong>and</strong> be eliminated from <strong>the</strong> online<br />
tournament.<br />
o Format for all online tournaments:<br />
• The format for all online tournaments will be single-elimination. Any Team that loses a Match will<br />
be eliminated from <strong>the</strong> online tournament.<br />
• All Matches will be Best <strong>of</strong> 3 Games.

Tiebreaker Rule: If, after all three Games have been played, <strong>the</strong>re is no clear winning<br />
Team, a fourth Game will be played. The Mode will be Search <strong>and</strong> Destroy, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Map<br />
will be Retaliation. The winning Team <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> fourth Game will be considered <strong>the</strong> winner<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Match.<br />
• All Matches will use modes, maps, settings, <strong>and</strong> restrictions as per CWL <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> set out in<br />
“Schedule A – Modes, Maps, <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> Restrictions”.<br />
• Map <strong>and</strong> Mode combinations for each Game will be posted on <strong>the</strong> online tournament page on<br />
WorldGaming.<br />
The top four (4) Teams (1 st through 4 th place) from each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> online tournaments will qualify for <strong>the</strong><br />
Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs <strong>and</strong> will no longer be able to participate in <strong>the</strong> remainder <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Open Qualifiers.<br />
In <strong>the</strong> event that a qualified Team is unable to take part in <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs or is disqualified or found to<br />
be ineligible by <strong>the</strong> Administrator a replacement Team will be determined, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator, by selecting <strong>the</strong> Team that lost in <strong>the</strong> Quarterfinals to <strong>the</strong> previously qualified Team. The<br />
following example <strong>of</strong> is for fur<strong>the</strong>r clarity only:<br />
• If Team A loses to Team B in <strong>the</strong> Quarterfinals <strong>of</strong> an online tournament, <strong>and</strong> Team B is unable to<br />
take part in <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs, Team A will qualify in <strong>the</strong>ir place.<br />
Format, Game Modes, Restrictions, <strong>and</strong> Settings are subject to change at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator. Additional details will be provided on <strong>the</strong> Website for each online tournament.<br />
REGIONAL QUALIFIERS<br />
• How to Enter:<br />
o Each Regional Qualifiers tournament will consist <strong>of</strong> a one-day live event competition open to up to eight (8)<br />
Teams each, to be held on February 26, 2017 at Cineplex <strong>the</strong>atres as described below in Section 7 (a<br />
“regional event”, or “regional events”). The start time for each regional event is approximately 10:00 AM<br />
local time. The exact start time will be communicated to <strong>the</strong> Team Captain <strong>of</strong> each registered Team by<br />
email on or before February 24, 2017. Each Team Captain is responsible for communicating dates, times,<br />
<strong>and</strong> changes to <strong>the</strong>ir Team Members.<br />
o A Team may participate in a regional event by designating a Team Captain, <strong>and</strong> having said Team<br />
Captain navigate to <strong>the</strong> Website during <strong>the</strong> Registration Period <strong>and</strong> click <strong>the</strong> “Register to Play In-<strong>the</strong>atre”<br />
button <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>n select <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>the</strong>atre location preference from <strong>the</strong> options presented. Available spots are<br />
assigned on a first come, first served basis.<br />
o During registration, <strong>the</strong> Team Captain must provide a Team Name <strong>and</strong> complete all required fields,<br />
including but not limited to <strong>the</strong> legal name, PlayStation ® Network ID (“PSN ID”), email address, phone<br />
o<br />
number, <strong>and</strong> date <strong>of</strong> birth <strong>of</strong> each Team Member. Only Entrants whose PSN IDs match those registered<br />
by <strong>the</strong> Team Captain are eligible to play in <strong>the</strong> Tournament. Any Team playing at any stage <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Tournament, with a Team Member whose PSN ID does not match any <strong>of</strong> those registered by <strong>the</strong> Team<br />
Captain, will be disqualified <strong>and</strong> will not be eligible to continue in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, or if applicable, receive<br />
a prize. Each Entrant permits <strong>the</strong> Administrator to verify that his/her name is registered to <strong>the</strong> PSN ID<br />
used to enter <strong>the</strong> Tournament. In <strong>the</strong> event Administrator is unable to conclusively verify that <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong><br />
an Entrant matches <strong>the</strong> PSN ID used to enter <strong>the</strong> Tournament, that Entrant, <strong>and</strong> his/her Team, will be<br />
disqualified.<br />
The <strong>the</strong>atre location selected by <strong>the</strong> Team Captain during <strong>the</strong> registration process corresponds to <strong>the</strong><br />
regional event location that <strong>the</strong> Team will be required to attend at <strong>the</strong>ir sole cost <strong>and</strong> expense. There are<br />
no exceptions. In <strong>the</strong> event that any Entrant has entered more than one regional event using <strong>the</strong> same or<br />
different email addresses or PSN IDs, that Entrant will be disqualified at Administrator’s sole discretion<br />
<strong>and</strong> will be removed from all tournaments during <strong>the</strong> Qualifiers by <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
• How to Play:<br />
o The Regional Qualifiers are open to all eligible Teams. Teams must be willing <strong>and</strong> available to participate<br />
in <strong>the</strong> regional event on <strong>the</strong> date <strong>and</strong> time advertised by <strong>the</strong> Administrator at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> registration, or<br />
<strong>the</strong>y may forfeit <strong>the</strong>ir right to participate in said event. Any costs associated with travelling to a regional<br />
event are <strong>the</strong> responsibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team. Team Member substitutions for regional events, with <strong>the</strong><br />
exception <strong>of</strong> each Team’s Team Captain, will be permitted up until <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Registration Period, at<br />
<strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
o Teams will only be playing against o<strong>the</strong>r Teams that have registered for <strong>the</strong> same regional event. If a<br />
regional event does not fill to maximum capacity by <strong>the</strong> designated start time it will still play out in full <strong>and</strong>
all Teams that have registered up to that point will be able to compete. Any Team without an opponent in a<br />

fewer Teams have registered for a particular regional event by <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Registration Period, that<br />
regional event will be hosted online ra<strong>the</strong>r than at <strong>the</strong> selected <strong>the</strong>atre location.<br />
o The seeded bracket will be sent to all Team Captains on or before February 24, 2017.<br />
o Format for all regional events:<br />
• All regional events will be made up <strong>of</strong> two stages:<br />
Stage One: Double-elimination Groups<br />
o Each Team will be r<strong>and</strong>omly assigned into Group A or Group B.<br />
o Any Team that loses two Matches during Stage One will be eliminated from <strong>the</strong><br />
regional event.<br />
Stage Two: Single-elimination Play<strong>of</strong>fs<br />
o Team seeding for Stage Two will be based on <strong>the</strong> results <strong>of</strong> Stage One. The #1<br />
seed from Group A (<strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Winners Finals) will play <strong>the</strong> #2 seed<br />
from Group B (<strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Losers Finals), <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> #1 seed from Group B<br />
will play <strong>the</strong> #2 seed from Group A.<br />
o Any Team that loses a Match during Stage Two will be eliminated from <strong>the</strong><br />
regional event.<br />
• All Matches will be Best <strong>of</strong> 3 Games.<br />
Tiebreaker Rule: If, after all three Games have been played, <strong>the</strong>re is no clear winning<br />
Team, a fourth Game will be played. The Mode will be Search <strong>and</strong> Destroy, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Map<br />
will be Retaliation. The winning Team <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> fourth Game will be considered <strong>the</strong> winner<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Match.<br />
• All Matches will use modes, maps, settings, <strong>and</strong> restrictions as per CWL <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> set out in<br />
“Schedule A – Modes, Maps, <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> Restrictions”.<br />
• Map <strong>and</strong> Mode combinations for each Game will be sent to Team Captains on or before February<br />
24, 2017.<br />
o The winning Team from each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Stage Two Finals will qualify for <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs <strong>and</strong> will no longer<br />
be able to participate in <strong>the</strong> remainder <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Qualifiers.<br />
o In <strong>the</strong> event that a qualified Team is unable to take part in <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs or is disqualified or found to<br />
be ineligible by <strong>the</strong> Administrator a replacement Team will be determined, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator, by selecting <strong>the</strong> Team that placed 2 nd from <strong>the</strong> corresponding regional event.<br />
o Format <strong>and</strong> Game modes, maps, settings, <strong>and</strong> restrictions are subject to change at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator. Any changes will be communicated to each Team Captain as early as possible.<br />
o All Entrants have <strong>the</strong> option to provide <strong>and</strong> use <strong>the</strong>ir own PS4 controller. Entrant-owned equipment is<br />
subject to approval by <strong>the</strong> Administrator. Administrator will not permit <strong>the</strong> use <strong>of</strong> any equipment that may<br />
provide an unfair competitive advantage. Entrants may not use a controller that has been modified to allow<br />
for an alteration in an in-game character's abilities or any o<strong>the</strong>r in-game mechanics. Entrants may not use<br />
a Keyboard/Mouse. Entrants may make cosmetic changes to <strong>the</strong>ir controller. Scuf Gaming controllers <strong>and</strong><br />
Kontrol Freek accessories are permitted.<br />
o Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right to permit spectators that meet <strong>the</strong> eligibility requirements to register <strong>and</strong><br />
participate in <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers on a first come, first served basis, when <strong>the</strong>re is a space available<br />
due to a no-show, disqualifica<br />
o tion, or for any o<strong>the</strong>r reason.<br />
o Quebec Entrants ONLY: Entrants from Quebec will be permitted to play <strong>the</strong> Game in English or French.<br />
Unless <strong>the</strong> Entrant provides his/her language preference at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to <strong>the</strong> start <strong>of</strong><br />
a regional event he/she will be required to play <strong>the</strong> Game in English.<br />
STAGE TWO: ONLINE PLAYOFFS<br />
• The top four (4) Teams from each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Online Qualifiers online tournaments (forty Teams in total) <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> winning<br />
Team from each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers regional events (24 Teams in total) will be required to play in <strong>the</strong> Online<br />
Play<strong>of</strong>fs to determine <strong>the</strong> top eight (8) Teams that qualify for <strong>the</strong> National Finals (each a “Championship Qualifying<br />
Team”). During <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs, each qualifying Team will be assigned into Group A, B, C, or D based on <strong>the</strong><br />
final results <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Online <strong>and</strong> Regional Qualifiers, <strong>and</strong> each Group will be played as a double-elimination bracket on<br />
March 4. To qualify for <strong>the</strong> National Finals, a Team must win ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> Winners Finals or Losers Finals <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
Group. The winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Winners Finals advances to <strong>the</strong> National Finals as <strong>the</strong> #1 seed from <strong>the</strong> Group, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>
winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Losers Finals advances to <strong>the</strong> National Finals as <strong>the</strong> #2 seed from <strong>the</strong> Group. Teams that do not<br />
make it to <strong>the</strong> National Finals are eliminated from <strong>the</strong> Tournament.<br />
• The seeded Group brackets will be sent to all Team Captains on or before March 1, 2017.<br />
• Match Hosting, Side Choice, <strong>and</strong> Disconnections:<br />
o The Team Captain <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team that appears on top in <strong>the</strong> bracket, when viewed through <strong>the</strong> ‘My<br />
Tournaments’ tab on <strong>the</strong> WorldGaming website, is responsible for creating <strong>and</strong> hosting <strong>the</strong> first Game, <strong>and</strong><br />
if necessary <strong>the</strong> third Game, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team Captain <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team that appears on <strong>the</strong> bottom in <strong>the</strong> bracket<br />
must host <strong>the</strong> second Game, <strong>and</strong> if necessary <strong>the</strong> Tiebreaker Game. Team Captains must invite all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
Team Members, as well as <strong>the</strong> opposing Team Captain, for all Games. The opposing Team Captain is<br />
responsible for inviting all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective Team Members.<br />
o The Team that does not host must choose a side to play on (UNSA or SDF).<br />
o The hosting Team is responsible for ensuring that all settings are correct. Any Game started with <strong>the</strong><br />
wrong settings may result in a forfeit for <strong>the</strong> hosting Team.<br />
o A Game must be restarted if <strong>the</strong> Host or a Team Member disconnects in <strong>the</strong> first 30 seconds AND before<br />
<strong>the</strong> first kill. If a Team Member disconnects from a Game after <strong>the</strong> first 30 seconds or after <strong>the</strong> first kill, <strong>the</strong><br />
Game must continue <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Team Member must rejoin <strong>the</strong> Game as soon as possible. If <strong>the</strong> Host<br />
disconnects from <strong>the</strong> Game or incorrectly ends <strong>the</strong> Game after <strong>the</strong> first 30 seconds or after <strong>the</strong> first kill, <strong>the</strong><br />
hosting Team will forfeit <strong>the</strong> Game.<br />
o If ei<strong>the</strong>r Team invites a Player/Spectator to a Game that is not a registered member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir Team <strong>the</strong>y<br />
may forfeit that Game, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
o A 5 minute grace period between Games is permitted to allow <strong>the</strong> new Host to setup.<br />
• Teams are required to take appropriate in-game screenshots that display <strong>the</strong> final results <strong>of</strong> each Game, <strong>and</strong><br />
should be prepared to provide <strong>the</strong>m immediately at <strong>the</strong> request <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator. Failing to do so, or providing<br />
false information, may result in immediate disqualification, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
• If nei<strong>the</strong>r Team Captain checks in to <strong>the</strong>ir Match <strong>and</strong>/or if a Match is not played <strong>and</strong> nei<strong>the</strong>r Team submits a Ticket<br />
requesting <strong>the</strong> forfeit win, both Teams will forfeit <strong>the</strong> Match <strong>and</strong> be eliminated from <strong>the</strong> online tournament.<br />
• Format for Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs:<br />
o All Matches will be Best <strong>of</strong> 3 Games.<br />
• Tiebreaker Rule: If, after all three Games have been played, <strong>the</strong>re is no clear winning Team, a<br />
fourth Game will be played. The Mode will be Search <strong>and</strong> Destroy, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Map will be<br />
Retaliation. The winning Team <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> fourth Game will be considered <strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Match.<br />
o All Matches will use modes, maps, settings, <strong>and</strong> restrictions as per CWL <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> set out in “Schedule A<br />
– Modes, Maps, <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> Restrictions”.<br />
o Map <strong>and</strong> Mode combinations for each Game will be posted on <strong>the</strong> online tournament page on<br />
WorldGaming.<br />
o Format <strong>and</strong> Game modes, maps, settings, <strong>and</strong> restrictions are subject to change at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Administrator. Any changes will be communicated to each Team Captain as early as possible.<br />
• In <strong>the</strong> event that a Championship Qualifying Team is unable to attend <strong>the</strong> National Finals or is disqualified or found<br />
to be ineligible by <strong>the</strong> Administrator a replacement will be determined, at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator, by<br />
selecting <strong>the</strong> Team that finished in 3rd place in <strong>the</strong> corresponding Group during <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs.<br />
STAGE THREE: NATIONAL FINALS<br />
• The National Finals event will consist <strong>of</strong> two stages, a double-elimination Groups stage <strong>and</strong> a single-elimination<br />
Play<strong>of</strong>fs stage, will be made up <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> eight (8) Teams that qualified through <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs, <strong>and</strong> will be held on<br />
March 26, 2017 at <strong>the</strong> Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 3M6.<br />
• Each Championship Qualifying Team must be willing <strong>and</strong> available to travel to Toronto, Ontario <strong>and</strong> participate in<br />
<strong>the</strong> National Finals on <strong>the</strong> date <strong>and</strong> time as determined by <strong>the</strong> Administrator or <strong>the</strong> entire Team will forfeit <strong>the</strong>ir right<br />
to participate in said event. No player substitutions are permitted. If one or more Entrants on a Championship<br />
Qualifying Team are not available to participate in <strong>the</strong> National Finals that Team will be disqualified.<br />
• The National Finals will be in accordance with <strong>the</strong> instructions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator. Any disputes will be resolved by<br />
an independent judging organization, whose decision shall be final, conclusive <strong>and</strong> binding. The judges’ decisions<br />
shall be made strictly in accordance with <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> any o<strong>the</strong>r rules <strong>and</strong> procedures put in place<br />
for <strong>the</strong> National Finals.<br />
• The seeded bracket will be sent to all Team Captains on or before March 13, 2017.<br />
• Format:<br />
o Stage One: Double-elimination Groups
• Each Team will be r<strong>and</strong>omly assigned into Group A or Group B based on <strong>the</strong> results <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Online<br />
Play<strong>of</strong>fs, ensuring that a #1 seed will always play a #2 seed in Round 1, <strong>and</strong> that <strong>the</strong> #1 <strong>and</strong> #2<br />
seeds <strong>of</strong> each Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs Group will always be placed on opposite sides <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> National<br />
Finals bracket. The following example <strong>of</strong> Round 1 Matches is for fur<strong>the</strong>r clarity only:<br />
Group A: A1 vs D2, C1 vs B2<br />
Group B: B1 vs C2, D1 vs A2<br />
• Any Team that loses two Matches during Stage One will be eliminated from <strong>the</strong> National Finals.<br />
o Stage Two: Single-elimination Play<strong>of</strong>fs<br />
• Team seeding for Stage Two will be based on <strong>the</strong> results <strong>of</strong> Stage One. The #1 seed from Group<br />
A (<strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Winners Finals) will play <strong>the</strong> #2 seed from Group B (<strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Losers<br />
Finals), <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> #1 seed from Group B will play <strong>the</strong> #2 seed from Group A.<br />
• Any Team that loses a Match during Stage Two will be eliminated from <strong>the</strong> National Finals.<br />
• All Matches will be Best <strong>of</strong> 3 Games, except for <strong>the</strong> Finals, which will be best <strong>of</strong> 5 Games.<br />
o Tiebreaker Rule: If, after all three Games have been played (or five Games in <strong>the</strong> Finals), <strong>the</strong>re is no clear<br />
winning Team, a fourth (or sixth in <strong>the</strong> Finals) tiebreaker Game will be played. The Mode will be Search<br />
<strong>and</strong> Destroy, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Map will be Retaliation. The winning Team <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tiebreaker Game will be considered<br />
<strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Match.<br />

language preference at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to <strong>the</strong> start <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> National Finals, he/she will be required<br />
to play <strong>the</strong> Game in English.<br />
6. CODE OF CONDUCT<br />
• All Entrants are expected to conduct <strong>the</strong>mselves in a manner that reflects positively on <strong>the</strong> Administrator,<br />
Tournament Sponsors, Press, Spectators, <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Entrants. By participating in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, Entrants agree to<br />
abide by <strong>the</strong> following Code <strong>of</strong> Conduct.<br />
o Competition:<br />
• Entrants are expected to compete at <strong>the</strong> best <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir ability at all times during <strong>the</strong> Tournament.<br />
• Cheating is defined as any act that gives one Entrant a competitive advantage over ano<strong>the</strong>r. If an<br />
Entrant feels that <strong>the</strong>y have been cheated by ano<strong>the</strong>r Entrant, that Entrant must raise <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
concern with <strong>the</strong> Administrator immediately, providing as much detail as possible. Complaints<br />
should always be accompanied by video evidence. All complaints will be h<strong>and</strong>led on a case-bycase<br />
basis, <strong>and</strong> depending on severity may result in: i) an initial warning followed by Team forfeit<br />
<strong>of</strong> current Game or Match for a second <strong>of</strong>fence; ii) immediate Team forfeit <strong>of</strong> current Game or<br />
Match; or iii) immediate disqualification from Tournament. Examples <strong>of</strong> cheating include, but are<br />
not limited to:<br />
Collusion <strong>and</strong> Match Fixing, defined as any agreement between two (2) or more<br />
Entrants to disadvantage opposing Entrants.<br />
Hacking or modifying <strong>the</strong> Game.<br />
Spectating an opposing Entrants’ monitor or live streams.<br />
Using restricted items during a Game.<br />
Using any player that was not registered by <strong>the</strong> Team Captain during registration.<br />
Intentionally disconnecting from any Game prior to its <strong>of</strong>ficial conclusion.<br />
Exploiting known in-game bugs, glitches, <strong>and</strong> unintended Game features to<br />
disadvantage opposing Entrants.<br />
o Sportsmanship:
• Administrator is committed to providing Entrants with a competitive environment that is free <strong>of</strong><br />
harassment <strong>and</strong> discrimination. To that end:<br />
Entrants may not use language in relation to <strong>the</strong> Tournament that is deemed by<br />
Administrator to be obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, or o<strong>the</strong>rwise<br />
<strong>of</strong>fensive or objectionable.<br />
Entrants may not engage in <strong>the</strong> harassment <strong>of</strong> a country, private person or group <strong>of</strong><br />
people through contemptuous or discriminatory words or actions on account <strong>of</strong> race,<br />
skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or<br />
any o<strong>the</strong>r opinion, financial status, birth or any o<strong>the</strong>r status, sexual orientation or any<br />
o<strong>the</strong>r reason.<br />
• Entrants may not disclose any confidential information provided by Administrator, Tournament<br />
Sponsors, or Press, by any method <strong>of</strong> communication, including all social media channels.<br />
o Responsiveness<br />
• Entrants are expected to respond to requests from Administrator in a timely manner.<br />
• All decisions regarding <strong>the</strong> enforcement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Code <strong>of</strong> Conduct are at <strong>the</strong> discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator <strong>and</strong> are<br />
final <strong>and</strong> binding.<br />

Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right to change <strong>the</strong> location <strong>of</strong> one or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Regional Qualifiers to ano<strong>the</strong>r Cineplex<br />
<strong>the</strong>atre or to host <strong>the</strong>m online should <strong>the</strong> need arise. Administrator will notify all Entrants as soon as possible if one or<br />
more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> locations have changed.<br />
8. TOURNAMENT PRIZES<br />
• Prize Pool:
The following prizes will be awarded based on <strong>the</strong> final results <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> National Finals:<br />
o First place: $20,000 CAD cash prize <strong>and</strong> travel prize, including Team Pass <strong>and</strong> Team<br />
travel/accommodation expenses for 2017 CWL Anaheim Open, June 16-18, 2017 (valued at $7,000).<br />
• “Team Pass” includes entry for Team <strong>of</strong> four (4) players into Open Bracket at CWL Anaheim<br />
Open. Only players that were Team Members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> winning Team during <strong>the</strong> National Finals are<br />
eligible to participate. By entering into <strong>the</strong> 2017 CWL Anaheim Open, all players agree to comply<br />
with <strong>and</strong> abide by <strong>the</strong> rules & regulations <strong>of</strong> said event.<br />
• If one (1) or more Team Members on <strong>the</strong> first place Team choose not to or are unable to compete<br />
as part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> winning Team at <strong>the</strong> CWL Anaheim Open because <strong>the</strong>y are registered to play in<br />
that tournament as part <strong>of</strong> ano<strong>the</strong>r team, <strong>the</strong> first place Team will forfeit <strong>the</strong> travel prize in its<br />
entirety, <strong>and</strong> no alternate prize component will be awarded. The opportunity to compete in <strong>the</strong><br />
CWL Anaheim Open will <strong>the</strong>n be awarded to <strong>the</strong> Team that placed second. If <strong>the</strong> trip is unable to<br />
be awarded to <strong>the</strong> second place team for <strong>the</strong> same reason, it will go unawarded. For greater<br />
clarity, <strong>the</strong> first place Team will still be deemed <strong>the</strong> winner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tournament <strong>and</strong> will receive <strong>the</strong><br />
$20,000 cash prize.<br />
• Travel/accommodation expenses for each Team Member to include economy class airfare from<br />
<strong>the</strong> closest airport with direct flights to Santa Ana <strong>and</strong> paid accommodation from June 16, 2017<br />
through to June 18, 2017, at <strong>the</strong> Administrator’s selection.<br />
o Second place: $10,000 CAD cash prize<br />
o Third/fourth place: $4,000 CAD cash prize<br />

• Travel Allowance:<br />
Each Team Member on each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> eight (8) Championship Qualifying Teams that played during <strong>the</strong> Online<br />
Play<strong>of</strong>fs (a “Championship Qualifier”, or “Championship Qualifiers”) will be provided with airfare (economy class <strong>and</strong><br />
from <strong>the</strong> closest airport with direct flights to Toronto) <strong>and</strong> paid accommodation from March 25, 2017 through to<br />
March 26, 2017 at <strong>the</strong> Administrator’s selection. If a Championship Qualifier lives close enough to <strong>the</strong> location <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> National Finals that airfare would not be reasonably required (as determined by Administrator) an alternate form<br />
<strong>of</strong> transportation may be provided. Hotel accommodation will be provided for all Championship Qualifiers.<br />
Championship Qualifying Teams must be available to travel to Toronto on <strong>the</strong> dates set out in <strong>the</strong> Tournament<br />
<strong>Rules</strong> or <strong>the</strong>y will forfeit <strong>the</strong>ir right to participate in <strong>the</strong> National Finals. All decisions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator are final.<br />
All Travel, including travel allowance <strong>and</strong> trip to 2017 CWL Anaheim Open: The specific details <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> trips will be<br />
determined by Administrator at its sole discretion. No change in travelling arrangements can be made once <strong>the</strong><br />
booking has been confirmed. The Releasees (as defined below) are not responsible if any scheduled event is<br />
delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason. All o<strong>the</strong>r costs <strong>and</strong> expenses associated with <strong>the</strong> trips , including<br />
but not limited to, ground transportation between <strong>the</strong> Entrant’s residence <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> departure airport, <strong>and</strong> between <strong>the</strong><br />
destination airport <strong>and</strong> hotel, additional accommodations if required, meals, gratuities, medical <strong>and</strong> travel insurance,<br />
travel documentation (i.e. valid passport), items <strong>of</strong> a personal nature, applicable taxes (including airport taxes),<br />
personal charges at lodging, luggage fees, security fees or o<strong>the</strong>r expenses not specifically described herein are <strong>the</strong><br />
sole responsibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Entrant. Entrants will be required have a valid Canadian passport to travel to <strong>the</strong> US <strong>and</strong> to<br />
present ID at hotel check-in along with a valid credit card for potential incidentals or damages.<br />
9. GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS<br />
• All prizes are non-transferable, <strong>and</strong> must be accepted as awarded, without substitutions. In <strong>the</strong> event that a prize, or<br />
any portion <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, cannot be awarded as described in <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>, Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right to
substitute a prize <strong>of</strong> equivalent or greater retail value. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is as <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> printing<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>. The difference in value <strong>of</strong> prizes as stated herein <strong>and</strong> value at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> prize<br />
notification, if any, will not be awarded. Select prizes will be distributed to <strong>the</strong> winner within one (1) month <strong>of</strong><br />
verification by Administrator. Additional information regarding prize distribution may be provided to <strong>the</strong> winner at <strong>the</strong><br />
time <strong>of</strong> notification. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.<br />
• Winner shall be solely responsible for all provincial <strong>and</strong>/or local taxes, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> reporting consequences <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, <strong>and</strong><br />
for any o<strong>the</strong>r fees or costs associated with <strong>the</strong> applicable prize.<br />
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION<br />
• Winners will be notified by email within twenty-four (24) hours <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> conclusion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> National Finals. Each Winner<br />
must send his/her full mailing address to <strong>the</strong> Administrator within five (5) days from <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> email advising<br />
<strong>the</strong>m that <strong>the</strong>y are a winner, to successfully claim <strong>the</strong> prize or such prize may be deemed forfeited. Cash prizes will<br />
be awarded in <strong>the</strong> form <strong>of</strong> a cheque or money order made payable to <strong>the</strong> winners. In <strong>the</strong> event <strong>of</strong> any dispute<br />
concerning <strong>the</strong> operation <strong>of</strong> any element <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament, <strong>the</strong> Finals or <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>, <strong>the</strong> decision <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Administrator will be final. Any Entrant found to have violated <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>, even after a prize has<br />
been awarded, will be disqualified <strong>and</strong> will be required to return <strong>the</strong> prize awarded, or cash equivalent in full within<br />
thirty (30) days following notice from Administrator that <strong>the</strong> Entrant has violated <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>.<br />
11. RELEASES<br />
• All Entrants at both <strong>the</strong> regional events <strong>and</strong> National Finals (collectively, <strong>the</strong> “In-Theatre Participants”) will be<br />
required to execute <strong>and</strong> deliver to <strong>the</strong> Administrator a Declaration that confirms <strong>the</strong> Entrant’s: (i) eligibility to<br />
participate in <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>and</strong> acceptance <strong>and</strong> compliance with <strong>the</strong>se Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>; (ii) acceptance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
prizes as <strong>of</strong>fered (if deemed a winner); (iii) release <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator, Cineplex, WorldGaming, Tournament<br />
Sponsors <strong>and</strong> promoters, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective parent, related <strong>and</strong> affiliated companies <strong>and</strong> entities, subsidiaries,<br />
members, dealers, advertising <strong>and</strong> promotional agencies, <strong>and</strong> each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective directors, successors,<br />
sponsors, partners, licensees, <strong>of</strong>ficers, subsidiaries, agents, employees, advisors, assignees, <strong>and</strong> all o<strong>the</strong>rs<br />
associated with <strong>the</strong> development <strong>and</strong> execution <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament (collectively, <strong>the</strong> "Releasees") from any <strong>and</strong> all<br />
liability in connection with this Tournament or participation in any Tournament related activities, including any travel<br />
related <strong>the</strong>reto <strong>and</strong> attendance at <strong>the</strong> National Finals, if deemed a Championship Qualifier. In <strong>the</strong> event that an In-<br />
Theatre Participant is a Minor, his/her parent or legal guardian must sign <strong>the</strong> Declaration on his/her behalf. If <strong>the</strong><br />
parent or legal guardian does not consent to signing <strong>the</strong> Declaration on behalf <strong>of</strong> his/her Minor child, <strong>the</strong> affected In-<br />
Theatre Participant <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir Team will be disqualified. Declarations for <strong>the</strong> regional events must be received by<br />
Administrator no later than 10:00am local time on February 26, 2017. Declarations for <strong>the</strong> National Finals must be<br />
received by Administrator no later than 11:59pm EST on March 25, 2017.<br />
12. PUBLICITY RELEASE<br />
• Please note, <strong>the</strong> regional events <strong>and</strong> National Finals will be filmed for entertainment <strong>and</strong> promotional purposes <strong>and</strong><br />
that photographs <strong>and</strong> video footage will be taken during <strong>the</strong> events. By participating in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, each<br />
Entrant grants <strong>the</strong> Administrator with <strong>the</strong> right to use: (i) his/her name, email address, mailing address, telephone<br />
number <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r personal information provided during his/her registration in <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>and</strong> any data<br />
collected while <strong>the</strong> Entrant is playing <strong>the</strong> Game, for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> administering <strong>the</strong> Tournament, including but not<br />
limited to contacting <strong>and</strong> announcing <strong>the</strong> individuals who have qualified for <strong>the</strong> Online Play<strong>of</strong>fs <strong>and</strong> National Finals;<br />
<strong>and</strong> (ii) his/her name, city <strong>and</strong> province <strong>of</strong> residence, video footage, images, voice recording, comments <strong>and</strong><br />
opinions for entertainment, publicity <strong>and</strong> promotional purposes relating to <strong>the</strong> Tournament, in any <strong>and</strong> all media now<br />
known or hereafter devised, without fur<strong>the</strong>r compensation unless prohibited by law. Entrants who have opted-in to<br />
receive marketing communications agree that <strong>the</strong> Releasees may use his/her Personal Information to contact<br />
him/her with marketing <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r promotional messages related to products <strong>and</strong> services <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Releasees. In<br />
addition, by participating in <strong>the</strong> Tournament all Entrants acknowledge <strong>and</strong> agree that <strong>the</strong> Releasees may disclose<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir Personal Information to third-party agents <strong>and</strong> service providers in order to affect any <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> activities listed<br />
above, in accordance with <strong>the</strong> Administrator’s privacy policy located at http://worldgaming.com/privacy/.<br />
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY<br />
• By entering this Tournament, each Entrant acknowledges compliance with, <strong>and</strong> agrees to be bound by, <strong>the</strong>se<br />
Tournament <strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> consents to <strong>the</strong> use <strong>of</strong> his/her name, city <strong>of</strong> residence, <strong>and</strong>/or likeness in any publicity<br />
carried out by Releasees, <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>the</strong>ir advertising <strong>and</strong> promotional agencies <strong>and</strong> agents without fur<strong>the</strong>r notice or<br />
compensation. Entrants release <strong>and</strong> hold harmless <strong>the</strong> Releasees from <strong>and</strong> against any <strong>and</strong> all manner <strong>of</strong> action,
causes <strong>of</strong> action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims <strong>and</strong> dem<strong>and</strong>s, including legal fees <strong>and</strong> expenses,<br />
whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach <strong>of</strong> contract <strong>and</strong> fundamental breach<br />
<strong>and</strong> liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which <strong>the</strong> Entrants or his/her administrators, heirs,<br />
successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason <strong>of</strong> or arising out <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Entrants participation in <strong>the</strong><br />
Tournament, <strong>the</strong> Regional Events <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>the</strong> National Finals <strong>and</strong>/or in connection with <strong>the</strong> acceptance, use <strong>and</strong>/or<br />
misuse by <strong>the</strong> Entrant <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> prize.<br />
• None <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Releasees shall be responsible for or bear any liability for: (i) late-received, lost, unintelligible/illegible,<br />
incomplete, or misdirected registrations, entries or Game scores; (ii) entries or game plays which fail to comply with<br />
<strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>; (iii) any technical or human error that may occur in <strong>the</strong> administration <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament,<br />
including any problems or technical malfunction <strong>of</strong> any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers,<br />
computer equipment, s<strong>of</strong>tware, failure <strong>of</strong> any e-mail or entry to be received on account <strong>of</strong> technical problems or<br />
traffic congestion on <strong>the</strong> Internet or at any website, or any combination <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, all <strong>of</strong> which may affect an Entrants<br />
ability to participate in <strong>the</strong> Tournament, or <strong>the</strong> ability <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator to receive <strong>and</strong>/or record <strong>and</strong> Entrants<br />
Game score; <strong>and</strong> (iv) any unauthorized human <strong>and</strong>/or mechanical intervention in any part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> entry process <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Tournament.<br />
• As a condition <strong>of</strong> participating in this Tournament, Entrant agrees that (i) under no circumstances will Entrant be<br />
permitted to obtain awards for, <strong>and</strong> Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or<br />
any o<strong>the</strong>r damages, (ii) all causes <strong>of</strong> action arising out <strong>of</strong> or connected with this Tournament, or any prizes<br />
awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form <strong>of</strong> class action, <strong>and</strong> (iii) any <strong>and</strong> all claims,<br />
judgments, <strong>and</strong> awards shall be limited to actual out-<strong>of</strong>-pocket costs incurred, but shall in no event include<br />
attorney’s fees.<br />
• Any attempt to deliberately undermine <strong>the</strong> legitimate operation <strong>of</strong> this Tournament is a violation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tournament<br />
<strong>Rules</strong> <strong>and</strong> criminal <strong>and</strong> civil laws, <strong>and</strong> should such an attempt be made, <strong>the</strong> Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right to seek<br />
remedies <strong>and</strong> damages to <strong>the</strong> fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entrants agree to<br />
abide by <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>Rules</strong>.<br />
• The Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with <strong>the</strong> entry<br />
process <strong>and</strong>/or void any games submitted fraudulently. Should multiple users <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> same email account enter <strong>the</strong><br />
Tournament <strong>and</strong> a dispute <strong>the</strong>reafter arise regarding <strong>the</strong> identity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> entrant, <strong>the</strong> authorized account holder <strong>of</strong><br />
said e-mail account at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> entry will be considered <strong>the</strong> entrant. "Authorized account holder" is defined as <strong>the</strong><br />
natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or <strong>the</strong> domain associated with <strong>the</strong> submitted e-mail<br />
address. If, for any reason, <strong>the</strong> Tournament is affected by any computer virus, worm, bug, tampering, hacking,<br />
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or o<strong>the</strong>r cause which, in <strong>the</strong> sole opinion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator,<br />
corrupts or o<strong>the</strong>rwise affects <strong>the</strong> administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct <strong>of</strong> this Tournament,<br />
<strong>the</strong> Administrator may, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend <strong>the</strong> Tournament, <strong>and</strong> determine<br />
winners from game play already received or as o<strong>the</strong>rwise deemed fair <strong>and</strong> equitable by <strong>the</strong> Administrator.<br />
Automatic game play is prohibited, <strong>and</strong> any use <strong>of</strong> automated devices will cause disqualification.<br />
• Administrator reserves <strong>the</strong> right, in its sole discretion, to terminate <strong>the</strong> Tournament, in whole or in part, <strong>and</strong>/or to<br />
modify, amend or suspend <strong>the</strong> Tournament, <strong>and</strong>/or to <strong>the</strong> Tournament <strong>Rules</strong> in any way, at any time, for any reason<br />

14. CHOICE OF LAW<br />

obligations as between <strong>the</strong> Entrant <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Administrator in connection with <strong>the</strong> Tournament shall be governed by<br />
<strong>and</strong> construed in accordance with <strong>the</strong> laws <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Province <strong>of</strong> Ontario. By entering, entrants consent to <strong>the</strong><br />
jurisdiction <strong>and</strong> venue <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> federal, provincial <strong>and</strong> local courts located in <strong>the</strong> city <strong>of</strong> Toronto, Ontario.<br />
