LANDSCAPE AND BUILDING
A building is integrated in the constructed landscape. The
building elements are related to specific occurences in the
shaped scenery and spaces are created in the linking between
landscape and building. A simple functional program is at-
tached to the project - a nature center that provides access to
the swamp nearby.
The topography of the building structure can be described as
comprising both cityscape and landscape – an operative struc-
ture that through its transformation of the given landscape me-
assures the dimensions of the context.
The sections to the right and the elevation below articulate
different meetings between the structure and the landscape.
On the opposite page are views from the structure and the
conceptual drawing of the site from which the overall concept
evolved.
