This year american comedian Johnny Hollywood
adds a new program to expand to the intercultural
comedy exchange by inviting an entire crew
from the neighbouring Comedy Café Amsterdam.
Three of their top comedians are here to show
us what the Dutch love so much and why comedy
transcends all borders.
Bob Maclaren – New Zealand
The combination of kiwi isolation and the lurid
madness of Amsterdam provide this native New
Zealander a refreshingly unusual view of life as
he sees it. A storyteller extraordinaire with body
language that can be best described as mildly
unhinged. His laconic and surprising comedy
has been televised on every continent.
Lambros Fisfis – Greece
All the way from Greece, Lambros has been
performing stand up comedy from a young age,
or as he used to call it: “Taking a hairbrush and
talking to the mirror comedy.” Bringing his unique
Medi terranean style of humor to the Netherlands,
he is now conquering stages around the world.
Tim Ward – USA
This native of California has appeared in over 60
stage productions and he performed in the
German hit show Pomp Duck and Circumstance.
As a master at improvisational comedy and with
his untiring energy Tim turns every performance
into a success.
