And the advantages speaks for themselves. The combination of very stable and insulating black Carbon particles and nylon fibres creates a fabric that accumulates the heat and detains it much longer than normal. This significantly slows down the cooling curve of the sleeping bag, adding an extra feature to the shell, since it no longer just encapsulates the filling, but also actively increases insulation itself. The mix works basically as a 3 layer sandwich construction with the Carbon particles in the middle creating a notable higher heat retention and at the same time easing the transportation of moisture out of the sleeping bag. Furthermore the Carbon content provides a light sensitive feature to the fabric in which the fabric itself will charge and thus store heat from most light sources. Finally the Carbon/nylon mix strengthens the fabric creating a very durable shell, that furthermore reduces the weight due to the low density of Carbon. Take a close look at Bering, and you will sense the black glow of the Carbon particles inside. Black Yarn is a mix of 69% nylon and 31% polyester with a weight of only 36g/sqm corresponding to 20 dernier and a air permeability of 0.7 cc. Lining fabric / Innenmaterial 20D Soft Nylon Filling / Füllung The Thermo Dry Soft is a hybrid fibre filling based on a unique mix of micro denier and hollow fibres providing maximum insulation and at the same time a unique dry and very comfortable inner climate – almost no matter the conditions. The hollow fibres optimizes the transportation of moisture originated from bodyheat and the micro denier provides an extreme softness. Together this combination creates a unique micro climate with a distinct and positive effect on perspiration and condensation, thus enhancing comfort. Furthermore this special construction makes the filling very flexible and durable, which will prove very useful if you for example wash the sleeping bag often. Together with the Black Yarn fabric, insulation power and heat retention is maximised as well as the transportation of body heat and moisture out of the bag. Aus einer Kombination aus sehr strapazierfähigen und Wärme isolierenden schwarzen Karbon Teilchen mit Nylon Fasern entstand ein Gewebe, dass die Wärme speichert und sie weitaus länger hält als normale Kunstfasern. Diese bahnbrechende Eigenschaft führt dazu, dass die Kältekurve im Inneren des Schlafsacks flacher abfällt. Gleichzeitig wird die Feuchtigkeit leichter aus dem Inneren des Schlafsacks transportiert. Die Schlafsackhülle dient dadurch nicht mehr nur als Ummantelung der Füllung, sondern bewirkt eine eigenständige Isolation für ein angenehmeres Wärmeempfinden beim Schlafen. Letztendlich stärkt das Karbon-Nylon Gemisch das Gewebe und erzeugt eine sehr widerstandsfähige Hülle, die sich Dank der geringen Dichtigkeit des Karbons mit einem sehr geringen Gewicht gegenüber handelsüblichen Hüllen auszeichnet. Wenn Sie sich das Gewebe aus kurzer Distanz unter die Lupe nehmen, können Sie sogar die schwarzen Karbon-Teilchen schimmern sehen. Black Yarn besteht aus einem Gemisch aus 69% Nylon und 31% Polyester mit einem Gewicht von nur 36g/m², entsprechend 20 Denier mit einer Luftdurchlässigkeit von 0.7 cc. Darüber hinaus verursacht diese spezielle Konstruktion der Füllung eine hohe Flexibilität und Beständigkeit, die sich als überaus nützlich erweist, falls Sie z.B. ihren Schlafsack häufig waschen. Zusammen mit dem Black Yarn Gewebe, der Isolation und maximierter Wärmespeicherung erhöht sich die Wärmeleistung im Inneren des Schlafsacks bei gleichzeitig optimiertem Flüssigkeitstransport bei höherer Körperwärme aus dem Schlafsack hinaus.
