Unsere Neue im Lehrerzimmer:<br />
Juli 2013<br />
Hi, my name is Simone Scherer and<br />
I’m the new trainee teacher<br />
(“Referendarin”) at the ASS. I was<br />
born in Alzenau and I spent all my<br />
school life in Bavaria. My hobbies are<br />
dancing, reading and spending as<br />
much time as possible with my family<br />
and friends. I’m a fan of Italian and<br />
Asian food, summer barbecues and<br />
Stracciatella ice cream. And I like<br />
languages – so, what a surprise, one<br />
of my subjects is English (the other<br />
one is German), and I speak French,<br />
a little Italian, some Spanish and<br />
Swedish. There are a lot of radio<br />
plays (“Hörspiele”)<br />
on my mp3 player,<br />
for example “Die<br />
drei ???”, but I<br />
listen to music<br />
too, of course. I<br />
just bought a new<br />
album: “Of<br />
monsters and<br />
men: My head is an animal”. I like<br />
reading English books and I collect<br />
cookbooks. Some of my favorite<br />
writers are Bill Bryson, Simon<br />
Beckett, E.T.A. Hoffmann – and<br />
Jamie Oliver. <br />
