OPUS VOCAL MICROPHONES 

Opus 89 

In der Tradition des legendären TG-X 60 stellt das dynamische 

Topmodell der Opus Serie, das Opus 89, vor allem Rock- und 

Popsänger in den Vordergrund. Die frequenzunabhängige Hypernierencharakteristik 

sorgt für maximalen Pegel bei enorm hoher 

Rückkopplungsfestigkeit. Der für Vocaleinsätze optimierte Frequenzgang 

sorgt auf der Bühne für einen außergewöhnlich 

exakten und kraftvollen Sound mit einzigartigem Dynamikumfang. 

Gegenüber dem TG-X 60 wurde der Nahbesprechungseffekt, d.h. 

die Bassanhebung bei kurzem Abstand zum Mikrofon kompensiert 

und somit eine Überbetonung der Bässe verhindert. Durch die 

elastische Systemlagerung und den integrierten Filter werden 

Trittschall-, Griff-, Wind- und Poppgeräusche unterdrückt. Das 

robuste Zink-Druckgussgehäuse schützt das Opus 89 auch vor 

härtesten Beanspruchungen. Das Opus 89 wird mit Mikrofonklammer 

und Touring Bag ausgeliefert. 

Following the tradition of the legendary TG-X 60, the dynamic 

top model of the Opus series, the Opus 89, is the ideal microphone 

especially for rock and pop singers to present themselves in the 

spotlight. The frequency-independent hypercardioid polar pattern 

and the high output power reduce the risk of feedback to an 

absolute minimum. The frequency response, which has been 

optimised for vocals, ensures an extraordinary accurate and 

powerful sound with a unique dynamic range. In contrast to the 

TG-X 60, the proximity effect, i.e. the bass boost when close 

miking, has been compensated. A shock-mount system and an integrated filter prevent handling noise or 

wind and pop noise. The rugged zinc die-casted housing protects the Opus 89 even against rough handling. 

The delivery of the Opus 89 includes a microphone clamp and a protective touring bag.

Opus Drumsets 

Die Opus Drumsets bieten Schlagzeugmikrofone der Opus Serie 

zu günstigen Setpreisen. Mit diesen Paketen sind Sie für alle Fälle 

gerüstet. Edler Sound und perfektes Handling. Ausgehend von vier 

Grundvarianten kann die Zusammensetzung der Sets individuell 

nach Kundenwunsch im Fachhandel gestaltet werden. Der im Set 

enthaltene stabile Transportkoffer (inkl. Schaumstoffeinlage) kann 

mit maximal einem Opus 99 (Bass Drum), einem ST 99 Bass Drum- 

Stativ, drei Opus 53 bzw. MC 930 (Overhead, HiHat, Becken) sowie 

mit bis zu vier Opus 88 und vier Opus 67 bzw. Opus 87 (Toms, 

Snare Drums) ausgestattet werden. Mikrofonklammern sind selbstverständlich

Im Februar 2007 lud beyerdynamic zum ersten Drum 

Day nach Heilbronn ein. Internationale Schlagzeugergrößen 

sorgten für Live-Drumming der Extraklasse. 

Das Fazit der 400 begeisterten Zuhörer war: „Der 

beyerdynamic Drum Day erfordert zwingend eine 

regelmäßige Wiederholung“. Wir kommen diesem 

Wunsch gerne nach. 

In February 2007, beyerdynamic invited the drum 

community to join the first beyerdynamic Drum Day 

in Heilbronn. International stars provided six hours of 

outstanding live drumming. The conclusion of the 

audience was: “A repetition of the Drum Day is 

mandatory”.

Miniaturmischer (3 in 1) für bis zu drei 

Kondensatormikrofone. 

Der Miniaturmischer Opus Mix 31 wurde zur Versorgung von bis zu 

drei Kondensatormikrofonen (z.B. Opus 86) mit Tonaderspeisung 

entwickelt. Er ermöglicht den Betrieb der Mikrofone in Verbindung 

mit einem drahtlosen Mikrofonsystem oder einem kabelgebundenen 

Speisewandler. Der Opus Mix 31 wird über eine 9 V-Alkalinebatterie 

gespeist. Die durchschnittliche Betriebszeit beträgt ca. 70 Stunden. 

Die angeschlossenen Mikrofone können mit drei separaten Lautstärkereglern 

abgemischt werden, um z.B. Pegelunterschiede zwischen Diskant 

und Bass am Akkordeon bzw. zwischen Stimme und Instrument 

auszugleichen. Der Opus Mix 31 besitzt einen 4-pol. Mini-XLR-Ausgang 

(female) zum Anschluss an einen Taschensender (z.B. TS 100 Mk II, TS 300 

oder TS 900 C/M) oder kabelgebundenen Speisewandler (z.B. CV 18).

The Opus Mix 31 mini mixer has been developed to supply a maximum of three condenser microphones 

(e.g. Opus 86) with AB powering. It allows operating the microphones in conjunction with a wireless 

microphone system or a wired power supply unit. The Opus Mix 31 is powered by a 9 V alkaline battery. 

The operating time is approximately 70 hours. The volume of the connected microphones can be 

controlled with the appropriate volume controls to compensate different levels between treble and bass

TG-X 48 / TG-X 58 

Der Klassiker und vielfache Testsieger! 

Die Modelle TG-X 48 und TG-X 58 wurden speziell zur Abnahme von 

Gesang entwickelt und sind der ideale und zuverlässige Begleiter auf der 

Bühne oder im Proberaum. Ein crisper, druckvoller Sound, sehr hohe 

Rückkopplungssicherheit, dazu eine angenehme, mattschwarze, nicht 

reflektierende Oberfläche überzeugen schnell vom professionellen 

Charakter dieses Mikrofons. Poppgeräusche werden durch den 

integrierten Poppschutz auf ein Minimum reduziert. Um ein unbeabsichtigtes 

Abschalten zu vermeiden, kann der Ein-/Ausschalter des 

TG-X 58 verriegelt werden. Selbst härteste Bühnentests konnten 

diesen Mikrofonen keinen Schaden zufügen.

Die neue Referenz unter den Vokalmikrofonen. 

Auf Basis der Mikrofonkapsel des MC 930 Echtkondensatormikrofons 

entwickelte beyerdynamic mit dem TG-X 930 ein Gesangsmikrofon 

der Spitzenklasse. Wegen des bei Vokalmikrofonen typischen geringen 

Besprechungsabstandes wurde der Nahbesprechungseffekt der Nierenkapsel 

kompensiert, um eine absolut neutrale Übertragung auch 

filigranster Nuancen der Stimme zu erreichen. Eine dezente Höhenanhebung 

sorgt für ein offenes, fein zeichnendes Klangbild, ohne je 

aufdringlich zu wirken. 

Der schon bei den Wechselköpfen der Opus 900 Drahtlos-Serie bewährte 

Edelstahlkorb mit mehrlagiger Metallgaze und zusätzlichem 

Innenkorb sorgt für einen ausgezeichneten Schutz vor Popplauten. 

Er ist nicht nur leicht zu reinigen sondern verbessert auch signifikant 

die Rückwärtsdämpfung und damit die Rückkopplungsunterdrückung. 

Der maximale Schalldruckpegel liegt bei 150 dB SPL. Dank des 

niedrigen Eigengeräuschpegels bietet das TG-X 930 einen extrem 

großen Dynamikumfang. 

Durch den internen Aufbau des Wandlersystems ist das Mikrofon 

weitestgehend unempfindlich gegenüber der im Vokaleinsatz 

unvermeidlichen Feuchtigkeit. Das gedrehte Messinggehäuse des 

TG-X 930 ist entweder mattschwarz lackiert oder veloursvernickelt 

erhältlich, um es der jeweiligen Bühnensituation anzupassen.

The new benchmark among vocal microphones. 

Using the capsule of the MC 930 true condenser microphone as a basis, beyerdynamic developed a 

first-class vocal microphone with the TG-X 930. Due to the typically small pick up distance with vocal 

microphones, the proximity effect of the cardioid capsule was compensated to achieve absolutely neutral 

transmission of even the subtlest vocal nuances. A slight treble boost ensures an open and detailed sound 

without ever being obtrusive. 

The stainless steel basket with multilayer gauze and additional inner basket, already used in the 

interchangeable microphone capsules of the Opus 900 wireless series, provides excellent protection 

against pop noise. It is not only easy to clean, but also significantly improves offaxis rejection and hence 

feedback suppression. The maximum sound pressure level is 150 dB SPL. Thanks to a low internal noise 

level the TG-X 930 offers an extremely high dynamic range. 

Through the internal structure of the transducer system the microphone is largely insensitive to the 

moisture problem encountered with vocal mics. The brass housing of the TG-X 930 comes in 

either matte black or a satin nickel-plated finish to suit the given stage situation. The TG-X 930 will be 

available to buy from specialist retailers from October 2007.

Der professionelle NE 900 True Diversity-Empfänger wird als Einzel-, Doppel- oder Vierfachempfänger

angeboten und ist je nach Umgebung mit bis zu 16 Frequenzen pro Band simultan und störungsfrei 

betreibbar. Der Empfänger verfügt frontseitig über einen Kopfhörerausgang mit Lautstärkeregelung zum 

Abhören einzelner Empfangskanäle und einen Menüregler (Jog-Wheel) zur Einstellung verschiedener Parameter 

wie bspw. Ausgangspegel (0 dB, -10 dB, -20 dB, -30 dB), Squelchpegel, Benutzername, Stummschaltung 

(Mute), Sperrfunktion für Bedienelemente und Steuerung über PC. Im Doppel- sowie im 

Vierfachempfänger ist zudem ein Antennensplitter integriert. Das farbige, in sehr großem Winkel ablesbare 

LC-Display gibt Auskunft über alle wesentliche Daten wie Frequenz, Gruppe, Kanal, Benutzername, 

die verbleibende Batteriekapazität der Sender (fünfstufig) sowie Feldstärke und Audiopegel. Störungsfreie 

Frequenzen lassen sich am Empfänger manuell (innerhalb 24 MHz in 25 kHz-Schritten) oder mittels der 

Scan-Funktion selbständig auswählen. Per Infrarot wird diese zu den Sendern übermittelt und dort

band without any interference (depending on local HF-environment). The receivers all feature a monitoring 

headphone output with volume control, an engineer-friendly “jog wheel” for fast access and 

reconfiguration of the system parameters (e.g. output and squelch level, channel mute, user name, 

lock function for control elements), and pilot tone recognition for improved operating reliability. The 

clear multicolour LC display indicates AF- and RF-level, battery status (5-stage), diversity channel (A/B), 

frequency, group/channel, user name, squelch level, and remote On/Off. The dual and quad receivers 

also feature an integrated antenna splitter.
