Kinds of connections:<br />
Riveting:<br />
• for metal hoses without sealing<br />
• for metal hoses made of galvanized<br />
steel with glass thread<br />
sealing up to approx. + 400°C.<br />
Riveting and glueing:<br />
• for metal hoses made of special<br />
steel with rubber or special<br />
fibre sealing.<br />
Soft soldering:<br />
• for metal hoses made of galvanized<br />
steel with rubber and<br />
special fibre sealing.<br />
Hard soldering:<br />
• for metal hoses made of galvanized<br />
steel and special steel<br />
hoses with glass thread sealing<br />
up to approx. + 400°C.<br />
Hose clamps:<br />
• for plastic hoses.<br />
These hose connecting sharpes are<br />
standard, but may, on request, also<br />
be used for other hose-sealing<br />
combinations than mentioned<br />
above. Please note that the sealing<br />
temperature ranges come up to the<br />
thermal strain of the manner of<br />
tightening (see diagram on<br />
page 7/7).<br />
We recommend to use hose pipes<br />
ready to be installed, as there are<br />
some factors to be considered when<br />
installing the connecting pieces, i. e.<br />
• correct cutting and treatment of<br />
the hose ends<br />
• consequent assembly of connecting<br />
pieces with regard to the<br />
conveying sense<br />
• manner of tightening connecting<br />
pieces by soldering, riveting or<br />
glueing.<br />
