The Metzengerstein
The Metzengerstein are a band
from Pisa (IT), born in November
2011, combining ambient,
noise and futuristic kraut.
They propose a dark sound,
as hard to tag as fascinating and
introspective.
St Genet
Maria Jiku
JIKUUUUUUUUUUU is the name of Maria Jiku solo project,
from Kyoto Japan.
JIKU meaning is spatiotemporal, space and time.
She is noiser, composer, singer, dancer, and improviser.
Her sound-work is focused in the breathing of voice improvisation,
Spiritual sound, True healing of mind and Cry of the
Soul.
She have toured Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia,
Austria, and Holland and Germany.

In 2010, „St Genet“ was created by Gabriele. Born in Italy, he has been living and
working in Berlin since 2005. Joined by Alix this year – born in France and also
living in Berlin – they now play as a duo using drums, guitar, voice and several
effects to create a mix between grunge, blues, ambient and industrial noise.
Andrea Zannini
Born in Terni, a major industrial town in
central Italy, Andrea began fiddling with
electronic gear at school where he had
developed his passion for music, playing
locally and experimenting with production.
But Terni is small and it was just a
matter of time for Berlin to become the
place where to go, try out, learn, experiment,
live. The place where while working
at night on his music and during
the day in a pizzeria, he met the Exone
fellowship, who are eager pizza eaters,
On February 2012 he released his first
EP „Fantasy Dream“ (Exone 12).
Now he's working on several projects,
among which one for italian label
Slowpitch and a new EP. Stay tuned.
carlo di Maio
Carlo Di Maio was born in Naples
in 1979. From a very young age he has
been very fond of electronic music and
has been enjoying the alternative scene
of the city. He started his career as a dj
for different clubs in Naples, while he
was still studying at school. In 2011 he
moved to Berlin searching for new artistic
and music motivations but continuing
to work closely with Defrag rec. and
with the new project ZeeBOX . He is also
an architect. He plays for many events
in Berlin and his fine and eclectic music
taste finds more and more approval
among the clubbers.
