The Institute for machine tools and industrial management (iwb)<br />
of Munich Technical University (TUM) was founded in 1875<br />
and consists of the chair of mounting system technology and<br />
industrial management as well as the chair of machine tools<br />
and finishing techniques. The iwb‘s research is oriented toward<br />
the three levels of production engineering: manufacturing and<br />
adding processes, production plant/machines and production<br />

Das Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften<br />
(iwb) der Technischen Universität München (TUM) wurde<br />
1875 gegründet und besteht aus dem Lehrstuhl für Montagesystemtechnik<br />
und Betriebswissenschaften sowie dem Lehrstuhl<br />
für Werkzeugmaschinen und Fertigungstechnik. Die Forschung<br />
des iwb orientiert sich an den drei Ebenen der Produktionstechnik:<br />
den Fertigungs- und Fügeprozessen, den Produktionsanlagen/-maschinen<br />
