Mit dieser Starthilfevorrichtung bleibt die Gabel in der Startphase fest arretiert im
unteren Bereich. Damit bleibt das Vorderrad während der Startphase auf dem
Boden und ermöglicht somit einen effektiveren Start. Sobald die Gabel beim Anbremsen
vor der ersten Kurve eintaucht oder das Motorrad ausgangs der Startgerade
über einige Wellen hinweg geht, löst sich die Arretierung und die Gabel
arbeitet wieder ganz normal.
