In 1964 an international gardening exhibition happened<br />
in our district, called WIG 64. Therefore they built an 827 ft<br />
high tower called Donauturm, which is the highest<br />
building in Austria. You see, Austria is a tiny country.<br />
We celebrated the opening of the exhibition by wearing<br />
elegant jackets and Tyrolean hats.<br />
Maybe that was the first time we sat on a porch swing.<br />
In German we called it Hollywood-Schaukel, because<br />
only movie stars used to sit on it.<br />
