EISCH. TRADITION SEIT 1712
Seit 1712 ist die Familie Eisch im
glasproduzierenden Gewerbe
tätig. Bis 1946 arbeitete Valentin
Eisch - der Gründer der Glashütte
Eisch - als Graveurmeister
in der damaligen Gistl-Glashütte
in Frauenau. Zusammen mit
seiner Frau Therese gründete er
1946 eine eigene Glasveredelungswerkstätte.
Im Dezember
1952 wurde in der eigenen
Heißglas-Produktion zum ersten
Mal Glas geschmolzen.
Der enge Zusammenhalt innerhalb
der Familie Eisch war eine
wichtige Grundlage des Erfolgs.
Die Glashütte Eisch ist auch
heute noch in Familienbesitz
und wird von der dritten Eisch-
Generation geleitet.
Bei Eisch ist Glas mehr als nur ein
Gegenstand des täglichen Gebrauchs.
Glas vereint Phantasie,
Natur, Kunst und Kultur. Eisch

been involved in glass production.
Until 1946 Valentin Eisch, the
founder of the Eisch Glass factory,
worked as a master engraver
at a crystal glass factory. Together
with his wife Therese, he
started his own engraving workshop
in 1946. They first melted
glass in December 1952.
The close cooperation and solidarity
of the Eisch family was an
important determinant of their
success. The Eisch glass factory is
still family-owned and managed
by the third generation.

With the extensive background
and rich experience of this handcraft
tradition, Eisch today is
exploring new and innovative
techniques in glassworks for the
benefit of the wine lover. A new
Eisch product range is the No
Drip Decanters. Inspired by the
way a lotus leaf sheds water, the
“No Drip Effect” decanter has a
specially treated rim; after pouring,
a bead of wine teases you by
balancing on the decanter's lip,
steadfastly refusing to fall onto
the tablecloth.
