SPAŠAVANJA<br />
Nesreće na moru događaju se tijekom cije-<br />
le godine, ali ipak je ljeto doba kada su one<br />
najčešće. Tada se znatno povećava broj plo-<br />
vila na moru, vrijeme je godišnjih odmora<br />
i visokih temperatura. Ljudi se upuštaju u<br />
razne morske avanture kojima mnogi nisu<br />
dorasli, bilo da je riječ o nevremenu, kvaru<br />
na plovilu ili nečem trećem. Kada se dogodi<br />
takva havarija, nastupa tim ljudi službe tra-<br />
ganja i spašavanja koja je dežurna 24 sata.<br />
Sve lučke kapetanije sudjeluju u traganju<br />
i spašavanju, a u skladu s Međunarodnom<br />
konvencijom o traganju i spašavanju na<br />
moru, Lučka kapetanija Rijeka je izabrana<br />
za Nacionalnu središnjicu (Maritime rescue<br />
coordination centre). Ustroj službe traganja<br />
i spašavanja, osim Nacionalne središnjice i<br />
lučkih kapetanija, čine i obalne promatrač-<br />
ke jedinice te pomorske, zrakoplovne i ko-<br />
pnene jedinice traganja i spašavanja.<br />

NOTRETTUNGSDIENST<br />
Unfälle auf dem See passieren während des<br />
ganzen Jahres, aber gerade im Sommer, wo<br />
doch eine wesentlich höhere Anzahl von<br />
Schiffen unterwegs ist, ist die Gefahr noch<br />
größer. Die Lufttemperatur ist hoch, es ist<br />
die Urlaubs- und Entspannungszeit. Urlauber<br />
gehen auf verschiedene Abenteuer aus,<br />
denen sie oft nicht gewachsen sind - es kann<br />
sich um Unwetter, Motorpanne oder anderes<br />
handeln. Wenn es zum Notfall kommt,<br />
ist das Such- und Rettungsteam eines 24stündigen<br />
Wachdienstes da!<br />
Alle Hafenämter und Hafenamtzweigstellen<br />
koordinieren die Such- und Seenotrettungsaktion,<br />
im Einklang mit der Internationalen<br />
Konvention über die Suche auf See und die<br />
Seenotrettung.<br />

Rijeka - MRCC RIJEKA unterhält einen<br />
24-stündigen Wachdienst (Maritime rescue<br />

SERVICE<br />
Accidents at sea occur throughout the year,<br />
but they are especially more frequent in the<br />
Summer. This is the time when the number<br />
of vessels on the sea increases considerably,<br />
of Summer vacations, and of high tempera-<br />
tures. People become involved in various sea<br />
adventures for which they may not be capa-<br />
ble of handling, whether it is bad weather,<br />
problems with a vessel or something else.<br />
When these things happen, a team of peo-<br />
ple from the search and rescue service goes<br />
into action, 24 hours a day. All harbor mas-<br />
ters participate in search and rescue, in ac-<br />
cordance with the International Convention<br />
on Search and Rescue at Sea. The Harbor<br />
Master of Rijeka is the head of the national<br />
headquarters (the Maritime Rescue Coordi-<br />
