with a multitude of adverse patient outcomes.<br />
� Consequently, delirium should be rout<strong>in</strong>ely screened for <strong>in</strong> ol<strong>der</strong><br />
ED patients.<br />
� Once delirium is diagnosed, the ED evaluation should focus on<br />

� Infection is one of the most common precipitants of delirium,<br />
