A number of outstanding hospital campuses, specialty clinics, physician practices and senior health facilities have been established in
the Orland Park Area, ensuring local patients have speedy access to high quality medical care when needed.
In late 2016 the University of Chicago Medicine opened a new
outpatient facility—the first outside of the Hyde Park campus—
to bring world-class care to local residents. The Center for
Advanced Care at Orland Park, located at 143rd and LaGrange
Road, includes “centers of excellence,” staffed by experts in
cancer treatment, comprehensive diabetes care, orthopedics,
cardiology, women’s health and primary care.
The clinic also provides extended daytime and weekend
hours, an on-site pharmacy and same-day appointments in
some specialties. Other patient-friendly amenities include
complementary parking and self-check-in kiosks.
Recognized as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals, Silver Cross
Hospital is located in nearby New Lenox. The 296-bed, private
room hospital excels in providing quality healthcare to local
residents. The 76-acre New Lenox campus includes two medical
building with several physician offices and outpatient services
and the Carolyn J Czerkies Pavilion—home to The University of
Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross.
Over the years, Silver Cross has developed an extensive
ambulatory network throughout the region that includes five
satellite facilities with the physician office and an array of
outpatient services such as diagnostic imaging, lab draws and
rehabilitation. Silver Cross also operations a 24/7 freestanding
Emergency Care Center in Homer Glen and an Urgent Care
Health care reform, changing demographics and medical technology have prompted the establishment of in-home care services,

Healthcare Organizations, is a 428-bed facility in nearly Palos
Heights; while the Palos Primary Care Center in Orland Park
offers immediate care, outpatient laboratory, diagnostic imaging
services, and physical and occupational therapies.
Located in Oak Lawn, Advocate Christ Hospital Medical Center, a
749-bed premier teaching institution is recognized for specialties
such as neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics and women’s health
and is home to a Level I Trauma Center. Additionally, the Center
is known for the 69-bed Advocate Children’s Hospital, the area’s
sole freestanding children’s hospital.
