HOW TO JOIN THE <strong>TMSA</strong> <strong>and</strong> support our work<br />
If you wish to join the <strong>TMSA</strong>, please complete the adjoining<br />
form (in block capitals), then sign <strong>and</strong> post it to the <strong>TMSA</strong> Office<br />
accompanied by a cheque, postal order or the completed<br />
St<strong>and</strong>ing Order M<strong>and</strong>ate. Please consider paying by st<strong>and</strong>ing order<br />
as this greatly helps our administration.<br />
If you are a UK tax payer, please help to increase the value of your<br />
subscription by ticking <strong>and</strong> signing the Gift Aid declaration at the<br />
bottom of the first page. This means the <strong>TMSA</strong> can reclaim tax on<br />
any monetary gift/donation to us (which includes your subscription)<br />
- increasing its value by nearly a quarter at no extra cost to you.<br />
When you complete the st<strong>and</strong>ing order m<strong>and</strong>ate <strong>and</strong> send it to us,<br />
we then post it to your bank with a covering letter. Your bank is then<br />
authorised by you to pay the <strong>TMSA</strong> the amount you have written<br />
once a year. You (<strong>and</strong> only you, not the <strong>TMSA</strong>) can cancel <strong>and</strong>/or<br />
change this m<strong>and</strong>ate at any time.<br />
The <strong>TMSA</strong> has branches throughout Scotl<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> you will be<br />
assigned to your nearest branch, unless you tell us otherwise.<br />
CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP<br />
Individual: 18 + years<br />
Individual Concession: under 18 or 18 + <strong>and</strong> also a Senior Citizen,<br />
unemployed, disabled or student in full-time education.<br />
Individual Premium: a premium individual membership with<br />
enhanced benefits.<br />
Family: any 2 adults at the same address plus children under the<br />
age of 18.<br />
Affiliate: an individual, group or organisation that wishes to support<br />
our work <strong>and</strong> to qualify for affiliate benefits.<br />
International Affiliate: an individual, group or organisation based<br />
outside of Scotl<strong>and</strong> that wishes to support our work.<br />
Corporate: a commercial business that wishes to support our work.<br />
Life Membership: Individual St<strong>and</strong>ard membership for life.<br />
