The name Wilo equally stands for
tradition and competence. It
represents more than 70 years of
Pumping Perfection and stands
for such eminent innovations
such as the first ever electronically
controlled heating circulating
pump. Wilo were the first to apply
the glandless pump design in the
fields of water supply and pressure
boosting and to develop the
first Inox/Composite submersible
pump for use in the fields of sanitary
engineering.
Wilo AG was established by
merger of the 1996-founded Wilo-
Salmson AG with Wilo GmbH.
Wilo AG is the principal managing
body of all activities of the associated
group of companies which,
with annual revenues of approximately
€ 536 million, ranks
among the worldwide leading
manufacturers of pumps and
pumping systems. A staff of more
than 3000 employees represent
the group with currently 36 subsidiaries
in 32 countries.
Activities in all the three fields,
heating, water supply and
sanitary engineering are focussed
on absolute customer orientation
and an area-covering service network
at home and abroad.
