05 Fiber Solutions for all Applications Features and Benefits: Four Fiber Minitube Solution The Four Fiber Minitube solution is a cost effective option when only three to four runs of fiber pairs are required. When paired with the three power feeder cable system, this solution can support up to three RRUs with only two runs of cable. This design also eliminates the need of a tower top distribution enclosure, as fiber and power feeders connect directly to RRUs. Minitube Trunk FTTA fiber trunks are fiber optical cable assemblies connecting base stations and remote radio heads in telecommunication applications. The Minitube Trunk provides a double jacket cable design, which ensures a very large leg length. Both jackets are Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) and Ultra-violet ray (UV) resistant, so the cable can be used indoors and outdoors. The boots of the connectors utilize hotmelt technology. The Connectors are IP66 protected. This ensures easy handling in an outdoor environment. One connector on each side is IP67 protected and is available as a spare. Long cable legs provide the possibility of direct connection to the RRU and the equipment in the base station.
