Illinois.” I have put out the feelers for
someone to take over the Class Agent
job from me for the Class of ’74. After
34 years, I’m calling it quits. So far,
no takers. If anyone is interested, please
contact me or Alex McTighe at alex.mctighe@gmail.com.
I’ve also begun plans
for our 35th reunion next year. We will
not be meeting the weekend of Founder’s
Day at the school next May due to
my daughter’s wedding and some conflicts
for other members of our class. So
the date has not been selected yet, but
will be sometime in late May or early
summer next year. Some have suggested
the “mini-cruise” down the Delaware.
Hope people will respond to my
emails regarding this planning process.
We would like to see as many class of
’74 members, and those associated with
our class, as possible. Ed. Note: Thank
you, Pam Brown Bryant, for being a conscientious
class agent all these years and good
luck with the challenges ahead.

Class Agent Susan Sharp Nield
Our daughter, Megan, just graduated
from 8th grade, so I had her party this
past June. I really would like a weekend
off! With my husband’s large family,
though, sometimes that’s not possible.
We have two weddings (my stepdaughter
being one) and four babies due, all
between August and October. I have
three more showers to go to. It’s either
a feast or a famine!

Class Agent Jackie Ashmore Bak
Audrey Winzinger has been serving
on the Buildings and Grounds Committee
since she joined the Board of Trustees
in 2002. Her love of old buildings
and preserving them keeps her busy as
she tackles the renovation and creation
of new space for our students. Thank
you, Audrey, for all that you do for
Doane Academy. In May your Class

Ivy Leaves Annual Report
10th year of teaching at the Hall and
am the mother of two graduates, Autumn
’06 and Coral ’02. I am also a
fiber artist who creates custom accessories
and exhibits locally. Where is everyone?

Class Agent Deb Peters Cilingin
Stewart Low and his wife Barbara reported
the death of his father Bill in
February 2008. Stewart’s mother Susan,
who passed away a few years ago,
taught at SMHDA from 1972–1985.
