But mark ye, and wonder, when elements thunder,<br />

' Dcatlj, with destruction, stalkini; all round.<br />

Our flag he did carry cm board <strong>the</strong> Niagara,<br />

While starboard and larboard, from every quarter,<br />

The lamps <strong>of</strong> Columbia did gloriously shine.<br />

The bold British lion now roar'd his last thunder.<br />

When Perry attack'd him close in <strong>the</strong> reaV,<br />

Columbians' eagle soon made him crush under.<br />

And roar out for quarters, as soon you shall hear.
