Sound <strong>Health</strong> Partners. We will process the claim and you will be advised by the provider<br />
of service of any remaining balance that is your responsibility to pay. Our Member Service<br />
Department is also available to assist in these situations and is happy to contact the provider of<br />
service to advise them that we are responsible for payment.<br />
Puget Sound <strong>Health</strong> Partners offers coverage for emergent and urgent medical needs anywhere<br />
in the world. A “medical emergency” is when you believe that your health is in serious danger.<br />
A medical emergency can include severe pain, a bad injury, a sudden illness, or a medical<br />
condition that is quickly getting much worse. “Urgent care” is a non-emergency situation when<br />
you need medical care right away because of an illness, injury, or condition that you did not<br />
expect or anticipate, but your health is not in serious danger. For more information see your<br />

If you are experiencing an emergency or have an urgent medical need you should get help as<br />
quickly as possible. You do not need to get approval or a referral first from your PCP. You may<br />
