How to Help
How to Help
children challenged by
circumstance, poverty and
illness count on companies and
people like you to help them
during their toughest times.
We offer many ways for
donors to make a difference:
` Individuals can support TIF by making
a personal gift. Those who donate
$250 or more will become a member of
our Leaders Circle. The Leaders Circle
is a group of TIF’s strongest annual
supporters from toy industry executives
to licensing professionals to community
members alike. Members receive a
special pin, periodic progress updates
and invitations to special activities.
` Manufacturers, retailers, distributors
and other companies can support
the industry’s own foundation by
making a corporate gift. It is an easy
way to accomplish your company’s
philanthropic goals.
` Companies can bring play into the
lives of children by donating to The
Toy Bank. The program collects and
distributes toys year-round. Donors can
choose to support specific TIF partners
like My Stuff Bags, Boys and Girls Clubs
of America Military Services and Ronald
McDonald House Charities or contribute
to the general network of charities the
Toy Bank serves. At industry tradeshows,
exhibitors can contribute samples onsite
and take advantage of our donation
management services to reduce return
shipments.
` Companies can take part in a unique
marketing opportunity and help children
in need by placing an ad in the TOTY
Tribute Book. The commemorative
publication, seen by hundreds of
industry playmakers, is the Toy of the
Year Award’s official program guide and
the Foundation’s largest fundraising
initiative of the year.
` Companies can contribute limited
edition toys and collector items to
be auctioned online to support the
Foundation through eBay Giving Works.
Individuals can bid to help provide
critical support to our programs.
` Individuals can donate online by
participating in our Virtual Stuff-a-Thon.
You can impact a child’s life by “stuffing”
a bag online for a foster child. In May
during National Foster Care Month,
companies have the opportunity to
create a corporate team and do good
stuff together!
